Okay, today, what we're going to do is an updo for a wedding um. This is one of my favorites. What I'm going to start out with this is this is how I start K. This is styling done from ice, it's called distortion and what I'm going to do is I'm going to put a little bit in my hands you're going to want to rub it to where it's clear, you're going to want to get all of these little hairs. Put this all through the hair, this is going to leave the hair shiny and it's going to leave all the flight waves down. You leave a little bit of bang down. Okay, okay, then we're going to take the pin. This is called the wah-wah comb. Okay, what we're going to do? You can see that you're going to want to take that you're going to want to hold this tight. You don't want to come in down and out we're just going to wrap this and give it a base. Then you can spray grab another section. You can want to do this around the whole head. Okay, now, on this side same thing, we're going to need to go to the side, flip Spray side spray. Underneath it's going to look crazy for a minute, then we're going to come to this side come up to the front where the Bing is going to want to hold up tight, end down and out again we're okay, okay, you're going to want this a little bit! Full here in the front, okay, now, what you're gon na want to do is you're going to want to take your bobby pins, okay, you're, going to take a section here, you're going to want to leave these bangs out I'm over here and grab your section. Okay, here's this then you're going to want to twist this. You can see that just twist, this back. Can anyone if you want to kind of set it down here, make sure this is how you want this, then you're going to bring the bobby pin this way and then push it in okay spray that then you're going to take the other bucket in we're going To do this around the head, take a section about that big again, we're going to twist twist down two you're going to set in and then lift it up and then push it in towards that. Okay, this way twist again and pull up a spray. When we get all this put up, then I'm going to show you what we're going to do. So it might look a little crazy for a second but know that that's okay, okay, twist again twist down kind of pull up, then again bring your bobby pin in and push down. Okay, now this hair in the middle. What you're going to want to do is you're going to want to take a clip and you're gon na want to clip it out of the way, get it out of the way. So you don't have to deal with that. Okay, keep continuing doing these twists twist down pull kind of up over and down okay again, okay, alright we're almost getting around to the front. You can spray it to me to why you're twisting it okay twist down then up. If you put the bobby pin in this way and then push it narrow, that's really going to hold these in tight, so they don't loosen up. Okay, now, right here, just make sure that hairs pull up to the side. In fact, I'm going to turn her around come back here to the front okay, so we've done all around that way. Now we're going to come this side, okay, twist again remember to twist in on either side it's going to be down twist it back and you're going to want to make sure that it kind of matches this side. This way go in then push it down into the twist okay. This is going to be the last twist okay you're, going to twist this up, take the bobby, pin in and push it into the twist okay, so that is the first first phase of the updo. Okay, you're going to have all this hair just hanging out free, but I'm just showing you all the twist it goes through the twist. Then I'm going to show you how to start doing the top okay, so we just got done with part one. We got all the twists done, um all the way around the head. Now, what I'm going to show you is what we're going to do with the top and the middle hair. I always like to start at the top um grande of section about an inch by inch here. What you're going to want to do. Take it and you're going to want to curl like twist this down and make just a circle. Okay and this hair is going to be poking up you're, going to take your bobby, pin and you're going to set it set it in okay, and then I'm going to leave a little some of these pieces out because we're going to be curling those also. So I'm going to leave a little bit out here in the front right back here, I'm going to do another barrel curl! You can also spray it before you twist to put it in the curl. Okay, I'm going to twist again put this in it in a curl. Maybe turn suade see so up this way, you're going to want to twist this down, okay, you're going to put the bobby pin in this way - and this is what we want is we want these hairs to start poking up everywhere? Okay, we'll leave a little bit of this hair out. Okay, we're going to twist this again. Okay, now this middle hair check it down a little bit. Thank you, okay. I want some hair left out here, so we can curl and these hair that the hair that we're leaving out isn't much. We don't want much so just just a little bit like this. Okay, then we're going to do another barrel, curl we're going to twist. This put the bobby pin and this phrase you go and then what you're you're watching in the mirror? You can place these barrel curls, where you want, if you want it, fuller, just make sure you're doing it towards the outside of the head. Okay, see how these hairs are starting to poke up. That'S what you want to see. Okay, you can leave a little bit of hair out here out right there, okay and then just keep just to keep taking your sections to do your barrel. Curls, okay, come up in the middle flip it out twist again it's going to be so cute, oh well! Okay, now, twist again, let me turn this way see you can see bobby pin in okay. So this slide. I'Ve left a little bit out on this side. You'Re going to want to leave a little bit up on this side, okay, so this I'm going to want to do another barrel, crow, okay and twist this down, you can always put your finger, and after you twist, you put your feet are in why you got The bobby pin to get that secure going to do another one this way. Okay and these these, you can leave out we're going to curl okay here in the bag and do another one. And then you can always remember where you're going to be putting the the veil so kind of leap, a spot here to put your veil in whether it's up higher or lower. Just remember you're going to be putting that bail in right there. So it can be a little flat here. Okay, I'm going to do another curl here; okay, let's see here, okay, so this is about how we want to see it for step two. Let me turn it around: there's hair kind of pokey and flying out a little bit. That'S what you want to see and then in step three I will show you what we're going to do with these pieces out. Okay, so now for part three, what we're going to do is deal with the hair that is sticking out. What I like to do is take my flat iron. These pieces just come in you're just going to want to kind of take it and curl it. Just a little bit see how it curls, you don't want it real curly. You just want a cute bend in there. Let me turn you this way. Okay, okay, each piece is just curl. Oh so there's your cute Bend not real straight, not real, curly and pull up and around then after you get all these pieces curled. If you need to, you can place them with bobby pins or, if they're placed you know well enough, where you like them, you can just take your hairspray I'll, show you it and just kind of spray them into place. Okay, then, I'm showing you right here, just these little pieces you're just going to want to bend the numb of this. We are going to put in the veil and then that way you can see exactly how it's going to lay around the bill. Okay, here a little bit and if you like it more curly and curl it more. If you like a little bit straighter, you can hold down a little bit straighter, okay, now, okay, what I'm going to do is show you we're going to take this veil. Okay, you're going to want to turn it upside down. If you can see that okay you're going to want to flip it towards her head, so this round part is going to fit into her head and what you're going to do is you're going to bring it in here straight then, you're going to kind of dig Into the hair a little bit and then push down until it's secured into those into that hair, okay, now this is what I was talking about after getting the veil in, you can put the hair over the veil. So what shows off the curls just use a little bit of bobby pins here and there wherever you'd like them. Okay, these amount curls a little bit more right here. Let'S get these curls a little more like I said. If you want it more curly, you can curl it or leave it more straight, just play around with it and see exactly what you like take them. You spray these kind of, like the look of that, where it's on the bill a little bit. Okay, now you separate these pieces just a little bit separate. If you need to you, can backcomb a little bit to make these stay up. Okay, let's curl these back a little bit. Okay, this one over here seems a little bit too long. I think so. What we're going to do is just take that again and curl it up this way there that looks better. Okay, let's do that again over here with this one. If I get this one curl, if you light more down, you leak them down. If you like it up, I'm just seeing that I like it up for now. Okay, now I want to place these hairs over here a little bit cuz, it's a little flat here. So all you need to do. Is you need to just grab this hair set? It where you want that and then put another bobby pin just to set the hair where you would like it, and you can regrow a little bit if you need to oh great, that feels secure. Okay, now you can just spray it real good. Okay, I'm just going to go around real slow and then what I wanted to show you. I use that ice finisher, it's an aerosol, culturally! Well, it's not real real sticky! That'S what I like about it! The bay lodge, I always use for thermal setting spray um, that was the curl, really will and then at first, when I started, I did the distortion from ice. That'S a styling gum and that's what helps bring the shine in and keeps all the flyaways down and then just make sure, really use a stiff, bobby, pin and you'll be set.
