Hi i'm t cooper, i'm a new york city, makeup, artist, hairstylist and co-founder of beauty and grooming company metro. Look today we're going to talk about a question. One of you recently asked, which was: how do i jazz up my straight hair? So we're going to need is a comb or brush just to get all the tangles out of the hair, some hairspray, because i'm a big huge fan of hairspray and lots and lots of pins, so we're going to get started by just taking the big old comb. I'M using a wide tooth comb, but you could also use a brush and just comb it through the hair make sure there are absolutely no tangles in it. Nice she's got gorgeous hair. Doesn'T she i love the color. So what i'm going to do is i'm just going to take the hair from the side and this little bit of fringe actually falls out on its own. I'M not going to fight it because i like that. I like, when little pieces fall out because it's effortless, i'm gon na turn to the side. So you can see what i'm doing and i'm just gon na take this piece of hair just like. Maybe this is from in front of the ear to maybe about two inches behind and then i'm just going to throw it over here and i'm actually just going to let go of it. So it'll loosen up a little bit and then i'm going to pin it in place, use as many pins as you need to just to make sure it's secure and for this you're, probably going to need to criss cross your bobby pins, especially because of the fact That the hair is straight when it's curly, you don't always need to criss-cross the bobby pins because a lot of times, they'll grip onto the texture, but when hair straight it's kind of silky, so you want to actually make sure that you get it see. I actually just used three, but i think that looks amazing. I'M going to do the same thing with the other side, i'm going to go from the front of the ear to right behind the ear, i'm not going to go as far back and then you can just adjust it. However, you like i like the way it's looking, i think it's pretty cool and then you can just go on in with your hairspray. If you have any little flyaways that'll bug in you and adjust it any way you like, i think this looks awesome just the way it is, and this is what it looks like from behind and you saw it took next to no time at all. I'M t cooper and i just showed you how to jazz up your straight hair thanks for watching bye,
