Of course during the holiday parties you want to look your best so today I am showing you how to do this amazing Side Swept Fishtail Updo holiday hairstyle.
In this holiday hairstyle tutorial you will learn how to create a fishtail braid on the side of your head. You then create the holiday hair by bobby pinning the fishtail back, creating another basic braid underneath and sweeping the whole hairstyle to the side. This create a beautiful hliday hair idea that is sure to get so many compliments!
This holiday hair is great as a holiday hairstyle for medium hair, and a holiday hairstyle for long hair!

Hey everyone, I'm Jordan from Braids by Jordan and today I'm going to be showing you how to do a pretty side. Swept fishtail style.. If you haven't already subscribed to Cute Girls Hairstyles, Make sure and hit the Subscribe button and give this video a big thumbs up.. Let'S get to the hairstyle., Take a small section of hair from about an inch back from the hairline and divide it into two.. Take a small section of hair from the outside of the back piece and cross it under and add it in to the inside of the front. Piece. Then take a small section of hair from the front piece and cross it under and add it into. The inside of the back. Piece. Then again take a small section of hair from the outside of the back piece, but this time we're gon na add in a small section of new hair., Then cross them both under and into the inside of the front. Piece., Then repeat with the front piece.. So take a small section of hair, add in a new section of hair and cross them both under and into the inside of the back. Piece.. Repeat those steps until the braid is a couple inches long. Try to take small new pieces as close as you can to the braid, so that in the end after we pancake it, you won't be able to see any part lines. Once the braid is a couple Inches long stop adding in new hair and continue the braid until it's long enough to reach the center of the back of the head.. Every so often go back and pancake the braid by pulling gently on the edges. Once the braid is long enough to reach the back of the head. Secure. The braid, with a clear baby elastic., Take a section of hair from the crown of the head and twist it slightly away from the braid. Pull on the top of the hair, to give it more volume and pin it in place with bobby pins. Section off a Layer of hair beside the bobby pins on the opposite side of the braid and move it up and out of the way., Take the fishtail across the back of the head so that it covers the bobby pins and pin it in place under the layer. We just sectioned off., Then release the section of hair so that it covers the end of the braid., Pull all of the hair over to the same side as the braid and cross some bobby pins, underneath the hair to help keep it secure.. Take a section of hair from the front of the head and twist it towards the braid., Pull on the edges, to give it more volume and then pin it. Underneath the braid. Take a section of hair from behind the ear and divide it into three equal pieces.. Then start a regular braid all the way down.. I tried to braid very loosely and pancake the braid every so often to give it more volume. At the end of the hair, secure the braid with a clear baby elastic.. If the braid is twisting funny at the bottom, you can take a bobby, pin and secure the braid down to the rest of the hair., And that's it. Well, I think we can all understand how their life is changing a bit with the move and all, but first and foremost this is a hair styling channel. Not everyone has the same hair type as Mindy's or her girls, so by having other people on provides more content that is useful for more of an audience. More people can benefit from their channel.
