Viral On Tiktok! Massive Jumbo Twisted Natural Hair Updo Hack| No Weave, No Extensions

If you don't know me and if you're new to this channel, my name is jodie dangleben owner of jd's naturals, coming at you with another tutorial this time, i'm going to show you guys a hack. So if you have thin hair, you want to continue watching this. This hack will give you a hairstyle that looks very full, even though your hair isn't that thick. So it is going to be a twisted updo and now i just had my hair in like two loose twists and it's on dirty hair wash days tomorrow, but i'm just going to so. I'Ve applied some sweet almond oil. That'S my go-to um! It'S a hundred percent sweet almond oil and i just applied that after i applied my leave-in moisturizer, i'm just brushing the ends of the hair a bit and the edges put in a little of my favorite gel eco styler gel, so guys. A very important part of this hairstyle is not putting your hairband tightly around your hair, okay, so ensure that it's not tightly and that it's wide so there's a wide area of hair that you have to work with. So that's very important when doing this hairstyle. So what i'm doing, instead of just taking the hair and twisting it and putting it up, i am creating a sort of bun in the middle, so i'm loosely i'm taking the hair from the middle, making sure that the hair all around is even in in thickness. So that my twists do come out even and i'm taking a bit of hair in the middle, just twisting the end a bit just to hold it and then i'm going to pin it down. So you want it very fluffy, very big, and this would create the base on which the twists are going to be attached to so there's a bit of science here involved and then after this is done, and i make sure it's to the shape that i wanted To a nice little round, bun shape, i start twisting all around the hair, so all the hair that is left out. You do your twists all around now. You can gauge how many twists you want. If you want it thicker, if you wanted a little thinner, i prefer them a bit medium-sized. I i find that when it's a little too big, then you have gaps in between and then you can see the bun. So if you do it a little medium size or small, it's your preference. Whatever you desire, i find medium size and we don't have time to do small ones this morning, so i find medium size works. Well for me, i was just testing it out. This looks like a cute hairstyle to it, so you go all around the head and you do your twists all around the head so fast forward with finished twisting all around, and i am just reshaping my bun in the middle and now what i'm going to do Is attach the twist to the middle of the bun. Now i'm starting on the edges on the sides. Sorry, i'm starting on the sides, i'm taking two twists at a time oops! This one is a bit messed up, so i'm just going back in and redoing the twist, and i take two twists at a time on either side of my head and pin to the middle of the bun. So i do a little twist there just to keep them in place and then i go with my bobby pin, attach it to the bobby, pin wrap it around and then just stick it in the bun, easy peasy, i'm doing the back. So i do the sides. First then, i do the back and then i do the front last. So now isn't this the perfect hairstyle look, how voluminous it looks so healthy. So cute i mean you can rock this hairstyle anywhere and then, when i'm done, i go in and just sleep down. My edges a bit with my edge brush just to make those flyaways lie down. So after i'm done combing my hair, i always go back and do my hair band and then i redo it just to make sure that the hair is neat and then i can really manipulate the size of the bun. So i can do it as tight or as loose as i want afterwards. So there you have it a very quick, very classy updo. This can be done for any occasion and yeah, i'm done say finito.
