Hi everyone, I am Paisley! Today I’m going to show you how to French Braid! I’m only 9, but braiding on my new CuteGirlsHairstyles Styling Head makes it easier! How does it look??? When did you learn how to French Braid?

This doll my mom calls “mini-Paisley”, because she looks just like me! Her hair is naturally curly just enough that our little hands can still braid it.
For this #TinyStyle, I’m going to teach you how to #FrenchBraid, and add glitter to the part. Braiding a doll’s hair is good practice to learn how to do different hairstyles, and it’s a lot of fun!
I added the glitter from the Glitter Brush, available in the link above. It’s my favorite accessory in the whole line! Then I added lace ribbon bows to the ends.

( bright upbeat, music, ), Hi, guys welcome back to CGH, I'm Paisley and this is ... Mindy.. This is actually weird for me'cause. I have actually never said the starting and'cause. It'S normally mom. And I haven't been a guest on my own channel in a long time., (, laughs, ) Yes.. This is the doll we are going to be styling on. It's in this box.. What it includes is one styling head, which is her. Two hair clips, which you can see are blue. One cone blue. One clamp is blue., Six bobby pins, eight elastics and one tips book.. What are we doing today on the styling head, French, braids., Okay. And they're? Going to look so pretty. Paisley's going to teach you how to do the french braid and me at the same time. Yes. And we're going to see ... Whose is better.. Oh, so it's a competition. Yeah. ( bell, dinging )! Now it's onto the hairstyle., Okay, the first thing: we used a clip to start and hold the hair back., But the things you'll need is you'll need a brush.. You can use a parent's brush too, if you feel like it., A rubber band, at least one. Okay., Which they come in the kit., And we have ... The clips., The clips yes. And optional ribbon. Yeah.. What are we doing today? We are going to be doing French braids on this. Mom says it's mini-me.. It is Mini Paisley., Okay, let's see. We're going to take a small part on the front like this. Okay. I like to comb it out just to make sure. One sec.'Cause. The ends can get knot-y right, momma A little bit.. That'S why you start at the ends to comb it out., Just like you would on your hair. On your hair, Mmmhmm (, bright, upbeat, music ). Next, I take the hair. I'm going to stand up right. Now. [ Mindy ], Okay., [, Paisley ] And you braid it.. I do two of these and on the third one I crossover. [ Mindy ], So you do two stitches and then the third one. You pick up hair [, Paisley, ], Yeah., [, Mindy, ], Okay., [, Paisley ], That's what I do.'Cause the first two a little free braid and then the last ones, which will be a lot- [, Mindy, ], Okay. [. Paisley ] Will be basically just doing it. And while we're going at the end of the braids, when you finish the French braid., I do this thing where at the end of the head, I just keep on braiding.. I just keep on braiding and take the hair. Just braid it like a regular braid., Don't go under, go over. And I just braid and braid and braid and braid and braid. [ Mindy ] Down the ends when you're out of adding hair Yeah. Okay., Then what I do is put a rubber band in that's. Why you'll need one.? You can show them when you get to that point. Talk them through what you're doing on your braid.? Are you adding hair to the outside pieces or where are you adding your hair, [ Paisley ], I'm adding the -- One sec I'll show you.. What I'm doing is I'm braiding and I put on top.. Then I take a strand from the outside. Just the edge of the hair and then put it on the one I just- [ Mindy ], The outside edge [ Paisley ], Yeah., [, Mindy, ] And then are you crossing over or under Over.'Cause under would be a Dutch braid. Okay.. I'M doing my side. I'm just following her instructions. [ Paisley ]. True she is. [, Mindy ]. You know. One of the rules in our house Paisley is that before you can get a cell phone, not that you're getting one anytime soon. Yeah., But before you can get a cell phone- Finally had to learn to do a French braid and a Dutch., A Dutch braid and A French braid on yourself- And someone else's hair. And somebody else's hair.. I can't really learn how to do it on myself., [, Mindy ]. It'S different handholds on yourself than it is on somebody else, right, [, Paisley, ] Mommy. I can't really do it on myself. Yeah.. Well, that's what you got to learn. (, bright, upbeat, music, )! That'S why you have to practice.. I bet I could. But-. All of the other sisters learn how.. You can do it.. I could- Your little Dutch braids would be more like a cornrow. Yeah probably. See I'm almost done to the end. And- [, Mindy, ], Okay Ill put that for you.. Here you go. [ Paisley ] And if you run out and for instance, it's not sticking that much to the head, then this is where I forgot to mention it. But bobby pins. bobby pins, always help. [, Mindy, ], Yes. And there's bobby pins in it too. Right Comes with some bobby pins. If you want them. [ Paisley, ] Yeah., We keep a bag of things comes with a little bag- Bobby pins.. Let me see if I can find one.. There'S one. Like this with little gold bobby pins. For styling too. If you need it. Right, Let's see., Yes, right. Mama is always right with hairstyling heads'cause she made them.. I'Ve also had quite a bit of practice., Plus she had me. [ Mindy ] Plus I had Paisley.. So then I even got more practice. Only different practice.. Then I learned cornrows and box braids and twist outs. And regular braids And regular braids and crochet braids. French braids.. I knew how to French braid. On my hair [ Mindy ]. Well, your type of hair is like cornrows right, Yeah., [, Mindy ]. Don'T forget that last one. I know. [ Mindy ] Your braid's going to look a little more boho. I think than mine. Looks good. Looks thicker. Now you're down to the regular braid part. Show them right. Here. There you go. See what I mean about braiding, Just braid.. I would stop ... She how mom finishes. I would stop near the end. Where, if you wanted to put string in then you still had room. Okay, Where I am putting it.. I think yours is a little higher than mine, but it doesn't matter., It is higher., Okay. And before- Did we decide? We wanted to add ribbon Yeah. Before I do that I like to flush out the excess. Just to make sure there's not a lot of tiny little knots getting into her hair style.. Then I take it.. I want to make sure it's in half., So then I get an even- [, Mindy ], So rough., Roughly even right, So that'd be half. Right, there. Huh! The key to the perfect bow is to go around the top. Watch. Make a loop. hold it., Make a loop. Hold it., [, Mindy ] And then go around the top. Instead of the bottom. [ Paisley ] Around the top. [ Mindy ], Yes, and then pull through., ( bright, upbeat, music, ), [, Mindy, ], Taadaa. Good., And that's what you wanted to see- Now you just have to pull the ends in a little.. You got it. (, bright, upbeat, music, ), See, Okay, guys.. Actually I have a little contest.. You had a contest Yeah. In my head. And now I tell mom. Okay. The thing is- We are having a contest.. Let me turn her head around., Whose is better. Well. You have to show it from the sides.. Are you ready, Look. [, Paisley ], Okay., [, Mindy ] Turn the head.? Oh wait., One sec. (, indistinct, ) Wait., One more thing that needs to be done. It'S my favorite part.! It'S her favorite ... Favorite of the toy., Oh you're, adding glitter to your side. That'S not fair. [, Paisley ] And yours. [ Mindy ] Okay.. This is yours right, now., [, Mindy, ]! Oh, it is Yeah. You're right. It is. It sparkles. Pretty., [, Paisley ]. She has to have a little bit of glitter on the head and she'll look really pretty. [ Mindy ] Yes.. Then you just have to remember to wash it out. If you're done with the glitter. That looks good. [ Paisley ] And this glitter can go on your hair. Okay. So, let's show. Don't touch this side., It is mom's. Is mine. With glitter. [, Mindy, ] Okay., And this side [ Paisley ], That's an extra point for me. Is me. [ Mom ] Paisley with glitter. [, Paisley ], Okay, guys vote down. Below. Vote who's going to win.
