Super Easy Braided Updo For Short Hair!

braided updo for short hair

My short hair girl you need this tutorial!!!

This tutorial will teach you how to do a braided updo for short hair!

Hi everyone, it's beth from sweetheart's hair, welcome back to another tutorial. I have my lovely short haired model. Sorry with me, and i'm going to show you a really easy, braided updo hope you love it. Let'S get started, i'm just going to start off by loosely parting. The hair into two, it doesn't have to be absolutely exact and just pinning that out of the way so alls we're going to be doing is taking a section of hair. I have left out that little bit at the front and you're going to be breaking it into three and we're going to start a french braid, so we're just going to cross over the middle cross over the middle cross over the middle and add some hair. Add some hair cross over the middle add some hair, and can you see that i'm keeping it kind of loose and i'm making sure i'm not pulling down i'm almost kind of lifting it as i'm going and just every now and again you can just stop and Just create a little bit of volume in this top layer and i'm just going to pinch that hair and put an elastic in so we're going to do the same on this side. Guys now just wait to the end, because i'm going to show you what to do with the sort of shorter neck hair and how to sort of get it off really really securely. So we're going to just start that braid again so three strands again so cross over the middle cross over the middle. So the last piece going in here and i'm just going to be joining these two braids together, i'm just kind of softening this style up a little bit just by teasing out this braids. So this back section you know, especially if the hair is even shorter than sorrows, can be a bit of a problem to get up. So what i'm going to do is just take the two side bits not too much. Hair join them together, put a little elastic and in i'm just going to take this little tiny, ponytail and just flip it towards the head. Using my fingers just to lift up this central piece here, then i'm going to go again taking a section from one side taking a section from the other side, joining them together and again, i'm just going to flip it through and then with this last little piece At the bottom, i'm going to tie an elastic just so it's like more contained and then i'm just going to kind of roll it up and just pin it and then we're just going to pin that piece there if you've got any little baby hairs. I'M just going to take my little hair, pin there push the hair through and then just pop it straight up into that bun you. Let me know if you could do this on yourself. Do you think it's one that you could try swept up off the neck? So it looks really really actually looks like there could be a lot more hair, though it doesn't look like short hair coming around the other side, so i've got lots more short, hair, tutorials out there, which i will put right now for you to take a look At but there we go easy braided up to

MLC Bean: Absolutely perfect! Just the style I needed for my daughter's now shorter hair! Thank you Beth!

Katrina Sheets: My hair is a smidge longer than this, but I definitely think it's a style i can do on myself. Super cute and an easy braid to accomplish! Thanks so much for sharing!

Julee Cox: Super dooper cute hairstyle! I don't believe I'll be able to do this hairstyle to myself but will definitely try it out on my daughter's. You always share the best tips!! Thank you. Hope you have a beautiful day.

kawaiikinomoto: Super super adorable but I don't think I would call this easy!! I'll definitely be trying it on my own short hair though

시은튜브: I can't believe I can tie my short hair like this It's so pretty. Thank you.

KRYSTAL M: This hairstyle is so beautiful! Thank you

Jennifer Gierok GuyRock: Super cute. You need some styles for people who have curly, thick, long coarse hair (me ). Flat irons don't work for people w this kind of hair and we don't always want curls. And braiding such long heavy hair alone can be painful when your arms keep falling asleep. Some easy ponytail and updos would be awesome.

Preslava Minkova: Soft and romantic. And above all, easy to do!!!

Joni Smith: Super cute and beautifully done!
