Hi guys it's Bella X and today, I'm so excited because I'm going to teach you guys how to do this amazing Janelle Monae inspired double rope up to isn't it just amazing. Look at that: oh yeah, okay! So it's I love the style because it's really easy and it only takes like five to ten minutes to do, but it looks like a hair stylist did it for you, so um yeah, let's get started and I'll show you guys how to do it for this Gorgeous look you're going to need edge, control, hair gel brushes hairspray and two bags of 100 % kanekalon braiding hair to begin the style, you're going to separate your hair into two parts and create two meat buns. This is what the edge control and the hair gel is for. After removing the braiding hair from the package you're going to separate the hair and using the rubber band you're going to wrap the synthetic hair around your back bun, though I did not show it in this video, I actually suggest using an elastic band or a regular Ponytail holder, to attach the synthetic hair to your hair instead of a rubber band, because we all know that rubber bands tend to break and tear your natural hair twist one side of the synthetic hair all the way to the bottom and tie it with an elastic Band you will do the double strand twist to the other side of your hair as well. I suggest using an elastic band, that's the same color of the synthetic hair that you're using in this case I'm using black. This will help for blending when you're ready to wrap the hair into buns, all right. It'S time to begin to wrap that synthetic hair into a bun using one side, you're going to wrap it over and place your natural hair and the middle of that synthetic hair, wrap it around into a bun and using a bobby pin. You will secure the first bun using your second bag, a pinnacle on braiding hair you're, going to tie the hair around your top bun again, I suggest using an elastic band or regular ponytail holder instead of a rubber band. When doing this step, take your hair and do a double strand twist, the same. What you did before by twisting all the way to the bottom of the hair and tying it with an elastic band, try your best to make your double strand twist as tight as possible, because they will loosen up after you loosen your grip and tie them with The elastic band now it's time to wrap this hair over your top bun you're. Basically just going to do the same thing you did in the back, which is just wrap it around and place your natural hair in the middle of the synthetic hair. You will secure this bun with bobby pins use, as many as you need. Alright, remember that rope we left in the back well now it's time to wrap it over to the front twist it and wrap it around your hair from right to left. When you get the desired shape that you want you're going to secure that bun with bobby pins, again use as many as you need yay, we are almost done. Okay, so you're going to take that last remaining rope and you're going to wrap it around to the back of your head and secure it with bobby pins. When I did my rope updo, I decided to wrap my last twists from left to right, because that's the shape that I desired, but keep in mind. You can wrap your twists any way you want to get the look that you want to get yep use. Those bobby pins because this style will not hold up without them. Alright, when you're all done you're going to do a final check and basically connect your twists together, so that there aren't any gaps or spaces and you're pretty much going to use a lot of bobby pins to do this. But when it's all done, you are going to love the way your hair looks school.

10hooper: This is damn confusing. Your directions isnt what your finished product looked like. At first you took that last piece from the back right and made it go on the right side of the head to the front only for the finished product to show the back piece going to the front on the left side of your head :/

Renee2383: Can you sleep in this?

Sandrine Joseph: @Erika Luamba

Slaytheday MUA: oh yea
