Hi guys I've been getting a whole lot of messages about how to go: Lissette, natural, hair or curly hair. So today, i'm going to show you how to rotate your own hair, we're going to need a couple of things. We'Ll need a detangling comb like this. Is a nice one here, a doctor, we're going to need a rat tail comb for you. Some clips make sure the double prong Clips like this, maybe a clip or two okay and, of course rollers. Oh, let's not forget, you need also a styling product, which is very important in order to get a good roll. This set into your hair and it can look pretty afterwards spray bottle. Okay. So what we're going to do is I'm going to spray my hair? A little bit I just washed it, and I used a really good, shampoo and conditioner. That'S really important something you know to moisturize the hair, because my hair is curly, so I need something really nice for the hair. So the first thing we're going to do is divide that here we're going to divide it by the front of our hair first and section it off I'm going to pull it forward, make sure you separate the hair from the back right behind the ears of mine. Okay, so it's going to be a division from here to here. That'S how you're going to session it all, let's see for those who have a lot of hair. Like me, it is not easy, but you can do this. I know you can so here you go session, this off completely twirl, it put a clip on it. You should clip it secure and tight okay and now we're going to start by dividing the here in the back okay in sessions, so we're going to go turn it around and take one session. This way push it forward and the other session push it forward. So we have this session we're going to start with over. Here I'm going to start the crown of our head. Okay, I'm going to take I'm going to take a thin section here and I'm going to go forward because I want my hair to be straight and neat. Okay, now untangle it nice and easy. We don't want to break the hair. You know you want to take a nice soft piece, make it nice and easy and take our great size roller, which is a bigger bowl, because I want to smooth curl I'm going to go back nice and easy. Take your time make sure to that you do it in a very comfortable environment. Sometimes you know we're not comfortable, so we can't do something right so make sure you're comfortable. You start, you've all said, be doing your bathroom or your bedroom and, as you see, I've clipped on each side a clip and it's nice and neat, it's a roll and you go ahead and do the next piece right in back of it. Okay, that person might not be neat, but it takes practice. Okay, so you practice and you're going to get it just right. I'M going to continue to do this all the way down my hair, making sure that it's nice and tight, and also smooth on each curl again do the best that you can now you're done with the hardest part, which is the back of your hair. We'Re going to go ahead and proceed to go to the front of our hair. This is the easiest pop. As you can see, even though the hair is my face, I can still see what I'm doing in a mirror, so very easy divide. This section here on each side make sure you divide into the size of your goal. You need to measure it because you're not sure, then you take your roller and you place it here to see if you got the right division on each side after you divide this hair perfectly, you want to go and clip each side, so it won't get in Your way, okay and it's away from your eyes, get one clip here on the bottom and another clip to this side of your hair. That way, it's easy for you, okay! You go ahead and start by spinning a little bit and it's going to get dry as you're rolling. You know, depending how long it takes beautiful, and then we start by taking up sections just like the back of our hair and roll. Listen you're not going to push it forward. You need tuck your hands on there, make it nice and soft. The knee is up and clip the hair. You can use one clip I'll. Show you two right here in the front. So you see I finished roller setting. My hair, I'm it didn't, take that long to do it actually took maybe about 25-30 minutes. It could take you longer, that's okay and it doesn't have to be as neat because at first is going to be a little difficult. But as you see, it's done, I'm ready for my dryer make sure that you use also an ionic, dryer or dry the dressing a little faster, and that way is going to help you be more patient with the roll accessable will sit in your hair. Thanks for watching

TheLovered30: I started rolling my hair like you and it has helped so much. Thanks for this tutorial.

Madge Mathews: I really appreciate the longer videos! They're great. :-)

azucarmoreno28921: Liz, thanks so much for posting this video I love how you do the partitions. What products do you use for your roller setting? Do you spray only with water or it is a mixture of water/conditioner or water/setting lotion...? Thanks!

Tee: Thanks Liz!!! this is the best roller setting vid i've seen.. love ur technique.

Nicole Scott: Love this video, I have ordered the same rollers as yours and the metal clips. Im going to natural for a while though will refer back to this when I rollerset :) do you have to use end peper when rollersetting or can you protect using a oil or a product that protects the ends?

Francelis Warrick: I absolutely love this video, I have natural hair, and am a military wife, and currently living in Germany and no one know hows to do my hair, without wanting to load tons of oil and then blow drying it. And I have been trying to roll and set my own hair, but its so thick and long its a pain and comes out horrible. And this video makes its seems so easy thank you so much. I wished I lived in Florida just so I could go to you every week.

Hannah Makes It: So happy I found someone with hair tutorials with curly/textured hair!! <3

Desiree Colon: Thank you! This was very helpful :)

Outlander0: I have hair like yours. My hair is naturally curly, I just wanted to define it better. I tried Velcro curlers, while my hair was wet. Then i blow dried with them in. The only product i used was leave in conditioner. I do not know if you have any recommendations but it absolutely did not work. 60% of the curlers just did not want to come out. They stuck and pulled my hair and it was just a big pouf with light waves in the end. I do not know where i went wrong.

kiara jones: the first time i roller set my hair i felt like crying lol becuase it took me 2 hours and it still looked bad! but u inspired me to try again thanks! pls keep makin videos

LizbethMuller: @xxbeachlove I would suggest that you don't wash or wet your hair everyday. You should wash it twice or once a week. You can dry set it at night with satin rollers . I started my roller set with wet hair and i would spray it to keep it damp. This method keeps the hair straight on the roller for a smoother look. I hope i answered all your questions. thanks for watching and good luck. Happy new years to you too.

LizbethMuller: Thank you guys so much for your feedback. I appreciate it. I'm happy you are enjoying the new video clips. : )

Hannah Makes It: So happy I found someone with hair tutorials with curly/textured hair!! <3 If I have really curly hair do you just put it in when wet after shower or do i need to blow dry it and straighten it first?

Brooklyn Wells: Your voice is sooo calming and your so beautiful :)

Nicole Scott: Hi Liz, can you tell me where you got your rollers from, I always seem to find the velcr ones but never the smooth ones, I really want to get into roller setting my hair and not just blow drying it, I have quite thick hair, and its growing, though I get split ends quite regular, any advice to help reduce this? Also any advice to help grow my hair and make it longer

LizbethMuller: @Anabeth13 I'm glad that you find the videos informative. That is one of the reasons why I like to do them. : )

Anabeth13: Finally !! i found an informative video oh and my sister is named lizbeth too :)

Markie Masucci: you are absolutely stunning!

LizbethMuller: @ThePrettyrickyfan I am so happy to hear that you can do this now, I'm glad I was helpful. Keep up the good work. : )

tamoniva12: Could you do a video showing the different hairstyles you could do with a roller set afterwards?

mrs.menachery: @LizbethMuller thank you so much for telling us the different ways to curl curly hair :) but can you also upload the end result?

LizbethMuller: Always use a protector. These oils have protecting agents in them. Good luck. : )

Que79: It took me forever, but I'm so glad I finally found YOUR yt channel!! Those expertvillage videos are great, but the short clips drive me crazy... lol

Lacehairwigs: great tutorial

LizbethMuller: @sweetfm2008I'm sorry I couldn't show the results but, I wanted to concentrate on the technique of roller setting. This is what my intentions were when I set out to make this video. I will consider to do something similar to want you want in the future. Thanks for watching.

jasmine smith: i relax my hair and i wanted to know if i could stop relaxing it and start texturizing it and how it might or might not help my hair because my hair breaks alot from relaxing it and i guess i think that texturizing it wont make it so weak and brittle

Scarlet Wanda: I like ur spirit.. Ur such a positive aura. Thank u. :-)

dowens357: I like this video it simplified how to part and roll. thanks dwayne

LizbethMuller: @cocoapayola1 Try to purchase a ionic hair dryer. They have the ones that stand up and roll any where you want to go. They sell them at Sally's beauty supply and other beauty supply stores. Good luck : )

LizbethMuller: @wewparker I Thank you for your support. I'm sorry If I didn't mention certain products in this video. In most of my videos on my channel I do say the product I'm using and I even have videos on products to use on the hair. I speak a lot about the moroccanoil line of products, macadamia, amika, framesi, semi de lino and other. I hope you have seen the rest of my videos this will give you information about the product i use. I hope I was able to help you. : )

LizbethMuller: @Rollersetguru1 I put the clips were if feels tighter right under the end of the roller. If you roll in different direction your hair will flow that way. For example If i go more toward my right it will part and flow towards my right . It all depend on how you wear your hair. go back it you don't wear a part or roll from left to right or right to left depending on your parting.Experiment and see what works for you. : D

LizbethMuller: There are lots of videos longer than a min. You can go on my you tube channel and see lots of them. I had to do them shorter for expert village because It was not my channel. I have still made some that are short but, Those are short for a good reason. Enjoy!! : )))

monicatron: You seem like a really nice person!

LizbethMuller: @TriniArabGirl If you look at most of my videos you will see the end results because i just roller set my hair just before most of my videos. This video is just about the roller setting I hope you still enjoyed it.. : )

Four Eyed Lady Original: So you washed & conditioned your hair, let it dry, and then re-wet it to roller set? Why no set wet? Reasons? Also, did you use any product to "hold" the set? Did not see you use the Moroccan Oil Cream or Oil. Thoughts?

LizbethMuller: @azucarmoreno28921 I use just hydrating lotion from moroccanoil . the spray bottle just has water. you can also use a setting lotion.

kadzal: thanks liz!

jceci08: What kind of rollers did you use?

jnhunt11: i am so happy i found you. i have been using the morrocan oil but i do still see a lot of damage in my ends. i do get trims regulary but i dont know whats wrong. can you recomend something i can di i dont use perms at all.

sweetfm2008: Please show the results & how you style afterwards

LizbethMuller: @oceannasmith You can stop and see how your hair grows out naturally. Make sure to condition your hair well every month.

tamoniva12: Could you please show the results of your roller sets.

Anjana Devi: Hi :) I live in Singapore. And there is no such thing as relaxing over here.(i get confused)I was wondering is relaxing the same as rebonding. (The word we use here) Rebonding is when they apply strong chemicals on ur hair and straighten it with a flat iron. They di it twice and takes abt 3 hours dependin on de length. Is this What relaxing is?

Elise Mariolis: Yay you are alive! I miss your hair styling videos! Please come back to youtube, we miss you!

MZHIPHOP: WHy don't you finish what you start? I would love to see the end result of the roller set!!! NICE JOB by the way.
