Hey guys so I'm starting off with clean hair, I do have some leave-in conditioner a little bit of product in my hair and the first thing we're going to do to start off. This style is blow-dry, my hair, so I'm going to unravel each part of each twist and I'm going to use a heat, protecting move and a styling spray by nubian heritage. Before I actually start to blow-dry my hair, so I'm using a con air blow dryer and it really gets my hair semi straight, and I really like that. My hair is growing very well and I'm excited about. They haven't blow dry, my hair in so long. Oh you would've ichini, I say nice, no wow, that's a time you got off, it was off with it. I'M not even mom here made you my. Are you going to use a rat tail comb and I have a difference. So my mom is parting. The front of my hair, because I'm going to be leaving a fair amount of my hair out in the front to Wan curl to complete the the pineapple and she's just going to braid the back of my hair slightly up to a curve. So the breaker can be curved going up to my right and she's going to do about six braids in the back of my head to create that pineapple effect word seems like all of my hair is being pushed up to the front and it didn't take her Very long to braid up my hair in the back, it was a fairly quick, especially since I'm here was blow-dry. To makes it easier for her to grab the hair and lift your hair is less likely to break whenever it's you know, blown out or straight and on the left side of my head kind of towards the front she's going to grade two more braids, and it Will help create that swoop effect that I have in the front of the hairstyle and, as you guys, probably notice, she's braiding off the ends of my hair, but I will unbraid them as I go through and Wong curls. So this is my braiding pattern and now I'm getting ready to Wan curl all the front of my hair. So I'm excited about this. I have not used any kind of like direct heat as far as like a heating tool to curl my hair and, like since I've been natural, it's like over eight years, so I'm excited I'm going to part my hair in the front in two big sections and I'M going to clamp them off and I'm going to get ready to start wan curling, my hair, so I'm going to be using a Wong perler it's by Hot Shot tools. I got a bit Sally Beauty, Supply I'll, leave more info in the description box about everything on using in this video, and so I want to use like maybe like a little medium part of my hair sectioned off and I'm going to use. Of course, another heat protector because I just want to be extra careful and I want to brush my hair off fish - is not growing. So I'm going to use a heat protector by ion it's vegan friendly and I got that it valleys as well, and I'm just going to apply it to my hair and I'm going to use a haha Indian back. I'M going to use a glove of course to protect my hands as I wan na curl. So I'm going to wrap my hair to with you middle of a long curler in a hook in a twisting motion, and I'm just going to let it sit for about eight to ten seconds on my hair and I didn't use a fair amount. I don't use a lot of heat. I used, I think around 325 headed to settings on 325 degrees Fahrenheit. I was just being really do the cautious, especially since I have not caught my hand a long time, anyone's burning and yeah. I have to cut it so on what he damaged, so I'm just going through and just kind of gauging the sections of my hair like how big I'm not doing them too big, but I don't I'm not doing them too small either after doing this style, I Wouldn'T mind doing wand curls again, I feel like the shape that it gives the curl but we'll see. I don't want to get too happy with the heat to get used to it. Then you know breakage and all that stuff, but anyways I'm going to pin down the back of my hair just to secure it and to give the front of my hair a little bit more shape notice like the bag. This also helps the this will also help prevent the braids from unraveling as well. So now that I'm done with the style just going to bobby, pin the other other side of my head down and in it pretty much it. I didn't really know how to refresh the curl in the morning, so it didn't look the same. I wrote rewrote my hair at night and I think I did it wrong, so I'm probably better off just putting on a sleeping cap and I'll next time. I do this salads probably fit on the sleeping cap instead of just trying to grow it, but this is a style. I hope you guys liked it, and I appreciate you guys watching the tutorial. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments down below and please don't forget, to check out the description box. I love you guys and I will see you next video. You

LilMizzLae: Just got this style done at my natural hair salon yesterday! But since I didn't want to use heat, they twisted up the front part using styling foam and put perm rods at the end of the twists. It looks so good right now even with the twists in! I'm gonna be rockin this style for a while before I even let out the twists. Thanks for the inspiration!! Oh - and bonus... my hubby (hard to please w/natural styles) LOVES IT!!

Pursuit Of Natural: This is such a cool style. I've done flat twists straight up instead of swooped and with a bantu knot-out on top. Shout out to momma for coming through on those braids! It aint easy doing it on your own head.

Shawanda LaTrice: Your mom is so talented she can do everything! You guys are so blessed to have a mom with anointed hands. ☺

Alana's Natural Hair: Absolutely beautiful! Think I want to recreate this look. I'd do smaller curls in the front because my 4c hair won't hold the bigger curls that long.

Alitra Wynn: Very nice style! An idea-You could do crochet in the front with a curly hair, a good one would be Freetress Fluffy Wand Curl which would give the look of your natural wand curls minus the heat and you wouldn't have to worry about the falling curls or what to do to maintain the curls.

Ethereal Barbie: I did this style before but with flat twist on the back. To preserve it, put a little bit of mousse and eco styler gel (don't go heavy on the gel) on the sections you wand curled and roll it with a flexi rods and undo it the next morning and fyi you don't have to do this step every night, the gel+mousse will keep your curls looking fresh and it doesn't have any crunchy feeling.

Katherine Johnson: love this style!

Jami Vision: Beautiful updo!!!

NaturalJam22: Really cute!! I would need someone to braid for me too
