Hi I'm T Cooper, I'm in New York, City, makeup artist, hair stylist and co-founder of beauty and grooming company Metro. Look today we gon na talk about a topic I was recently asked about which is washing keratin out of the ends of hair. Now everybody has their own techniques for personally working in New York. I'Ve never heard of keratin only being applied to the ends, usually on keratin supply, to the whole thing, and for those of you who don't know what keratin is a keratin treatment is when you want to loosen up your natural texture or even make it straight. They apply the keratin, they give you a blowout and they flatiron it into your hair, and you have to leave it in for three days in order for the keratin to actually seep into your hair and do what it needs to do, which is relax. The texture of your hair, now being that, let's pretend this is the third day and she wants her keratin out. I'Ve never heard of it just being put in the ends, but I guess it's possible, you know and you think it happened. This is New York right. So what you need is you need shampoo and conditioner that is designed specifically for keratin. I have a shampoo and conditioner right here, both of them carrots and complex. The shampoo has to be sodium free and sulfate free, and the shampoo also has keratin properties in it, and this is a deep conditioning, conditioner and it has keratin properties in it as well, and it smells awesome, it smells like vanilla bean. So what you would do is you would take the shampoo climb it up in your hands and distribute it evenly throughout the whole entire head and being that you have this keratin product in your hair. You really need to wash it out really really well, so you need to make sure you get up in there. Whatever the keratin is. If it's just at the ends, you need to really scrub. If it's all over your head, you really need to get in there and make sure that you get it all and then once you feel confident that you've, given your hair, a good scrub, you wash it out and then you would do the exact same thing. A you would apply the shampoo and then you would rinse it out, then you're ready for conditioning. So then you go in with your keratin friendly conditioned air. It'S not so good! You put a generous amount in your hands and then you work it through your hair generously. You can use as much as you like I mean I wouldn't used too much because the keratin shampoo and conditioner it's really expensive honey. But if you have a lot of hair and if you really want to make sure your hair gets conditioned, then you really want to use a generous amount. Let it seep into your hair and let it sit on your hair for at least I'd say ten minutes. Personally, when I condition my hair, I'm someone who has had keratin done, I left it on for about 20 minutes and I used a plastic cap and I sat underneath a hooded dryer and that really really made my hair, nice and soft and it felt strong and Then I followed it up with some good old fashioned. Keratin mist. Keratinous is fantastic if you have keratin in your hair or if you don't have keratin in your hair, it's really strengthening and it's awesome for your hair. So i'm t cooper and i hope this helped. You out, thanks for watching bye,
