3 Easy Summer Hairstyles For The 4Th Of July | Cute Girls Hairstyles Compilation

( upbeat music, ), Hey everyone., I'm Mindy from Cute Girls Hairstyles. And today we are going to do a great 4th of July compilation, video so that you guys have all the hairstyles. You need at your fingertips for this holiday.. If you guys haven't subscribed to our videos already, you can click here and let's get onto it. The first 4th of July braid that we're going to show you guys is called the three-minute scarf braid.. So it's a French braid where you incorporate a scarf.. I love this because you guys know that scarves are very popular, this year., So this is a great one. To begin you're going to fold your scarf in half and identify where roughly the middle is. I'm going to take a piece of hair right here at the Top Brooklyn's head and that now the scarf is going to go underneath that., So we kind of need to know that's why we need to know where that middle is., So you can kind of eyeball and make sure you've got enough on each side.. Now this becomes our second strand. So if you look at my hands, I have strand number one. The hair is strand number two and this side becomes number three. You're going to position them in your hands like you normally would. If you had three pieces of hair and start adding hair into it, like a french braid., To begin, I'm just going to pick up a section of hair on this right side and add it directly to the scarf. And then go ahead and cross the scarf over. That middle piece of hair. - This is how we're securing that scarf into the hair.. Now you're, going to pick up hair on this left side. Add it directly into that scarf on the left and cross it over., And at this point it becomes a little bit easier because the scarf is already semi anchored into place. We're just going to pick up hair.. I'Ve tried to leave a little out by her ears and I'm doing pretty big french braiding pieces of hair. Like I want it to look sort of like a chunky, french braid, not a really soft tiny. You know intricate french braid. ( upbeat music, ), Okay, and when you finish adding hair in then you have a couple of different options., I'm going. You can do this and braid it all the way down and then I'll show you what I'm going to do at the end of the scarf. Or, if you so choose, you can just braid it like this and then take the hair and tuck it up in Underneath the hairdo right there. Up underneath the braid, where there's this little hole at the nape of her neck and tuck it all up and under. Her hair is so thick that, with the scarf, that would be really hard to do.. If you have thinner hair, that would be a better option. So for her, I'm going to just run this all the way down. As far as I can go. And take like a little just like an elastic that will sort of blend into her hair and secure the whole thing.. But then I'm going to go ahead and use the ends of this ribbon or the ends of the scarf. To just sort of wrap it around the hair and tie it off., So that is looks like this. And then it still accents a little bit more of the scarf as it goes through the braid.. So it depends a little bit on the thickness of your hair and also the length on how you want to end it.. But this is definitely a good option.. Then you can go back soften it up a little bit.. We want it to look very bohemian and breathe and we have our loose little hairs to help with that. And we're done.. Let'S do the final spin. I love it.. I love how you can see the little stars popping out., Very fun.. The next hairstyle is called the star bun combo.. You guys check out how tiny Rylan is in this video.. It'S an oldie but goodie for sure, where you part off a star on their hair and then style around it, which is awesome for the 4th of July.. Now for this hairstyle turn around so you can see. I went about just about mid eyebrow and did a little part line and tip your head back Ry., And that became the point of my star.. So once I took this triangle shape here and then I went out straight to the sides to create a secondary triangle on either side., And then I finished off by creating my bottom triangles.. So ultimately I have a complete star.. You can see the size I did on her head.. I didn't want it massive, like the entire head, but I didn't want it too tiny either. And then I just secured it with an elastic.. So for me, I'm going to take her hair and just give it a little tiny bit of tease through here just to kind of mess up the perfectness of the hair. And then I'm going to just twist it into a bun, very loosely.. I don't want it too tight. And then I don't want it like so tall.. So I'm going to kind of flatten my bun out and make it look more of like a really cutesy messy, bun sort of on the top of her head. And then I'm going to just use bobby pins to secure this in place.. Okay, when you're all done pinning - and you have your bun all secured nicely. - You can see what it looks like from the top., So you can still definitely see the outline of the star on mine.. Like I said you can do a nice bow or a braid or anything else, you want. Now to get the rest of the hair out of the way I'm going to go right to the middle of that star. And I'm going to run that down just through The nape of her neck and section it off into two ponytails. And you can add a little bit of water if they're younger, like Rylan, just to help, keep the fly aways under control. And I'm going to create ponytails on either side of her head. (. Upbeat. Music ), Okay. Now, when you're done with your ponytails, this is what you have. Now for me. I want a little more red, white and blue., So I'm going to go ahead and tie red ribbons onto her ponytails.. Once you have your ribbons tied, you can go back and add just a little bit of tease at the top of the ponytails. If you want them to look nice and full. Like this., That just gives them a little more fullness.. Rylan loves glitter, so she's requested that I use a gold glitter to spray. The top of the star. So tip your head way back for me.. So I'm just going to accent our little bun and star with some gold glitter., So that her hair looks all fun and glittery. And we are all finished.. Our third video is called the mini. Fishtail, braids and Bailey shows how to do some fishtail, braids on short hair and then pair it with a cute scarf or bandana for that added little pop for the 4th of July., Okay, so first things first get your bandana and fold it up. However, you need., So I have mine folded up here so that it sits right on my head and now I'm going to position it and put it in place., So usually typically I'll start it about where my hairline's at. I'll pull all my hair behind the bandana And tie it underneath my hair., So it's going to look funny right now, but we'll get it situated in a minute. Tie it as tight as tight as you can., So that that bandana stays in place all day.'Cause. You definitely don't want it falling off.. That would not be good. Okay, so I have it tied in place.. Obviously this looks weird. So we're going to pull it back a little bit., So you can start to see the hair at the hairline. And now I'm going to pull two small pieces out at the front. ( upbeat music ). So there you go., You can see how these two pieces, so you can curl these pieces. You can straighten them. You can leave them how they are. That is totally up to you., But before I deal with those I'm going to continue on with the rest of the hairstyle., Basically you start by splitting your hair in half in the back.. So now I have two pigtails.: I'm going to grab one and I'm just going to do a simple fishtail.. So in short, hair, a simple fishtail is a little more difficult because we have short strands.. So sometimes those strands don't go through the fishtail and they can fall out.. So it is a little trickier., So you just have to be careful about which strands you're pulling into the fishtail. I'll. Show you how I do it on mine and then you can try it on your hair. Okay. So I'm going to start on this side, so you guys can see it., Try and comb down your hair. So it's flat right, here., So that you have no bumps. Begin by splitting the hair.. So you have two chunks of hair and then you do a typical fishtail.. So you'll grab a piece from the back.. Since we do have short hair, you can see that this strand probably isn't long enough to pull through the fishtail.. So we have to be careful about which strands we grab because a lot of the times they'll fall out.. This one is longer, so I'm going to use that. Cross it over the strand. You pulled it from and add it to the other chunk of hair.. We'Ll continue on this way, but make sure you're checking to see if your strands look long enough to pull through the fishtail.. This is specifically for short hair.. If you have long hair, you will not need to worry about that step.. This is only if you have short hair, because a lot of the times you might have hairs that will fall out of the fishtail if they're too short., So we're just going to continue on try and pull pieces for the fishtail from the very back. ( upbeat. Music ), It doesn't have to be perfect. A lot of times like fishtails people. Do like these very, very perfect fishtails. This is intended to look messy and cute. One of those messy cute hairstyles.. You know what I mean, So this one looks like it's going to be probably too short., So I'm going to grab a different strand. Just continue on this way for a little bit longer until you feel like you're running out of those long strands. That will continue the fishtail., Because you know we do have short hair and that can be problematic sometimes.. So you can see on this side I'm getting down to the little short ends., I'm going to try and grab a few more on this side. Pull through the fishtail.. I'Ll, probably stop right about there., So I will rubber band it at the very end. Once you feel like you're at a stopping point., So now you can see. I have my simple fishtail here, but instead of just leaving it like that, since I said it was intended to look messy, I'm going to go ahead and loosen up some of the strands and pancake the fishtail.. So you just kind of go like this. You pull out the pieces., Make it look all cute., ( upbeat, music, ) And there you go., You have your fishtail on one side and then you're just going to repeat that on the other side. And then you have your fishtail hairstyle.. Okay. So again, I'm splitting the stands on this side grabbing a piece from the back checking to make sure it looks long enough crossing it over and adding it to the other side.. Just like you would a basic fishtail. See that one looked a little too short to me., So I'm going to grab something else., Pull it over. And just continue. On., Like I said on the other side, with a basic fishtail, just making sure that you're keeping the strands as long as possible. This side is a little easier for me to do, because it's my, I don't know why. I think it's my dominant braid side, if that's the thing. ( upbeat music, ), Okay, rubber band, that.
