3 Simple Loc Updos For Medium Length Locs

Hey Fam! Here are 3 simple loc updos I have been creating this summer in this Atlanta heat.

Hey guys welcome back to natural curls for life, I'm Tracy and today I'm going to do a couple of updo styles on medium length, hair. So if you're interested stay tuned all right, so if you guys have been following me any length of time, you know that I really don't do much to my hair. I haven't been able to do a lot of updo styles because of the lens my hair is shorter in the front than it is in the back, as you can see so most of the time. If I know, if I wear, I either wear it straight or I do it twist out, so my hair is a little longer now, and so I'm gon na show you what I do. I can't do an actual ponytail like pull it all back and up because of my sides, but what I've been able to do when I wear my little lock something here. My hair is usually really flat in the morning when I take it off, so that is the best time to use one of these little stretches, and I just take it like this - put it here and then just roll it up or pull it up like this And pull it up in the back and I have a ponytail, you can shape it a little bit, and this is my pony: okay, real, simple, all right, so style number two is half-up half-down and I have this stretchy and I'm looking for my other ponytail holder Than I don't so here it is, I have a big one and a little one. So no this one nevermind, okay, so the same one I just used and this bigger one. So this one I take in double like that and put it on my wrist. Okay and then I'm gon na take as much hair as I want to go up and I figure out what I want to hang and what I don't. Sometimes I let my temples hang down like that, and sometimes I don't but usually they're pulling so I'll pull those down. Okay, all right now. This is real, simple and I usually pull it kind of toward the back of my head and when I'm working as an ultrasound tech, when I'm done my my rotation, my clinical rotations, this was a style I did. It was a little harder back then, because my hair was shorter, but I'm gon na take this pull the hair through now this is really loose, so I let one go and hold one pull it like that, and just do it again now. Sometimes I have more hair than this so that one that third time is enough. Okay and then I take this roll okay. Now you're gon na have some pieces sticking out initially and then I'm gon na take this. I'M gon na pull it over the here and then double it. Just like that. Alright anything that's left out. I just tuck it in so I'm gon na look at my mirror and tuck-tuck. I don't use any bobby pins or hair pins. I just tuck just like that, and that's it for that one now the slack style that I'm going to show you I like to wear when I do an interview for a job and it's very simple now, normally what I do is I use a black stretchy. This one's kind of stretched out you can see, compare the two, so I'm going to use the grey one so that I can get the effect that I need, but normally I do black to match my hair. Alright, so you decide where you want your part, you can do it down the middle or on the side, whichever you prefer and then you take the headband put it on your hair and across your forehead. Okay, make sure all the hair is coming down. It'S pulled down all right, pull all the hair down as best you can and your front pieces. You want to kind of pull in your face like that and just pull all the hair make sure it's smooth and it's going in the headband okay same thing with the back. Alright, this what it looks like. Okay, I'm gon na pull this down a little bit more in the front and in the back now that it's all smooth alright - and this is real, simple again: no hair, no hair pins, no bobby pins. Just take your hair, pull it over and tuck it into the headband just like that. Okay - and you just keep going roll it and tuck it roll it and tuck it why this doesn't want to stay. It'S okay, you just keep working with it, roll it and tuck it now. This was easier when my hair was a little shorter. So the longer it gets it's a little more challenging and then do the same thing on this side, pull it over and tuck. It pull it over and tuck it just like that, and then turn around do the same thing to the back. Okay now and just make sure you get all the pieces that are sticking out and then what I do remember normally this headband is black. After I took, I pull it up on my hair like this. I tighten up the front right here just like that, and this will blend in with the hair, and this is it it's very simple, pinless, nothing, sticking in your head, everything tucks under the headband as long as it's tight enough to tuck. This is style number three and that's it guys. Three simple styles for medium length: hair, short hair. I don't know if my hair is considered medium length or short hair, but shoulder length hair. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope you like the Styles. If you have anything else that you'd like me to try, I do plan on trying pipe cleaners pretty soon. I do want to try some pipe cleaners, but this is something simple that I want to show you guys that I do. Thank you so much for watching. Don'T forget to comment down below and as always have a wonderful day.
