Hello and welcome back to my channel, thank you so so much for tuning in for this video today, i'm going to show you two very simple, easy and quick 1960s inspired hairstyles that totally work for 2022.. I have been loving these hairstyles so much lately and i really love very easy, simple hairstyles, because i am not very good at very complicated hairstyles. So if you are like me - and you don't like taking forever in the morning to have cute hair, this video is for you so without further ado. Let'S get started with this video, so really all you'll need for these. Two hairstyles are two things, and that is either a ribbon or a bow and an elastic and, of course, also a brush. So, first of all, i'm going to let my hair down and um you can see it is kind of a little bit um curled still from yesterday's curls. I don't know about you, but i really have hair that doesn't hold curls for very long. So you can see here they're kind of um pretty straight now, and that is actually the perfect state for your hair to be in for this hairstyle. So what we're going to do is i'm going to first brush my hair, and just so you know there's a mirror right here, which is why i'm going to look over on this side most of the time, so we're going to brush our hair first, which is Important because we want to have very silky, smooth hair and the way you brush, it is kind of the way your hair is going to end up being so, as you can see here, i'm kind of flipping the brush a little bit to the side to make My hair flip to the side a little bit like the 60s swoop, see here, that's so cute, i think yeah. I really love that swoop. So much so. I'M gon na brush my hair, like this just straight and then flipping it up a little bit and i think that makes it look really adorable. So i'm gon na do that on both sides and also in the back of course, and as you can see now, i have these cute little sexy swoops and that works really well, when you have second day or even first day curls, it doesn't really matter, but You should have had some like heat curls in your hair. First, it really does help when achieving this look. You can put some hairspray on this if you are afraid that it's not going to hold, but for me this is going to last for the whole day. So i'm going to just leave it as this without any hairspray and i'm going to now take half of my hair from behind my ear and we're going to go all the way up here and i'm not going to take the whole half of my hair. So we want to have really adjust the hair from the front and have the elastic as far to the front as possible, and if you want to, you, can even tease your hair, but i kind of like it to be a little less voluminous. Once you have. This section of your hair gathered to the top of your head, we're gon na, take our elastic and just tie it into a little ponytail and then a little bit of a tug in the end to make sure it's a bit tighter, but not too tight. Okay, so this is already looking really cute: let's make it even more 1960s we're gon na add our ribbon or our bow so for this hairstyle, i'm gon na go with my ribbon, because i think it's just gon na fit a little bit better, especially with this Dress so now, if you have chosen your ribbon, just put it underneath your elastic so make sure that your ends are going to be the same length once you have tied it so kind of like this, and now we're just going to make a little ribbon now That i have my little ribbon on top. What i like to do is just i let the sash end kind of hang onto the side, and i think that makes it look really adorable. If you want a little bit more volume, you can take a bobby, pin and pin it kind of underneath the elastic to make it stand up a little bit more like this, but i kind of like this look a little bit more, so i'm going to leave It as this and now, if the flyaways are bothering you and if you want to have a little bit more of a slick back look, you can just take some pomade, some hair, gel or hairspray and just spray them down or kind of glue them down a Little bit, but personally they don't really bother me and i am just going to let them fly around a little bit and then we're already done with the first hairstyle. I just think it's an adorable hairstyle and it's also a very quick and effortless way to look a little bit more polished and put together, which i think is definitely a good thing. I think it's always good to have this one hairstyle in your sleeve. That is just gon na make. You look like you actually spend time on your hair when in reality, you didn't - and i think this one is definitely one of those hairstyles. Let'S move on to the second hairstyle, so this hairstyle is almost easier than the first hair cell. So what we're gon na do is, of course, we're gon na brush our hair. What we're gon na do next is for this hairstyle. It does require you to kind of tease your hair a little bit um if you don't want to do that, that's totally up to you, but it's definitely going to look a little bit better when your hair is a little bit teased. So i'm going to use my brush for that. It is definitely better when you use a comb or maybe a teasing comb, but i just have a normal brush here. So what we're going to do is we're going to brush our hair back in the front, and i'm going to take one section of my hair from both of the arches of my brows and i'm going to take just a small section to tease for now. So that looks really funny, but with this part of my hair teased, i'm going to just take more hair in the back and just go section by section now that i have these sections of my hair teased and i look very funny right now. Um, i'm gon na take this top part of my hair and i'm just gon na run my hands on the top a little bit to get some of these flyaways out of the way. So now i'm going to take my elastic and just tie this section of my hair together. So what you can also do with this hairstyle is take two strands from the front out to just have it frame your face a little bit better, but i'm just going to leave it like this. Now i'm going to use a bow for this hairstyle. I know this bow doesn't really fit color wise to my outfit, but i just had this color at hand right now, so um i'm going to use this one to show you, but i'm going to link where i got these down below. I have them in pretty much every color but they're from amazon. If you're looking for a good bow, i'm going to link it down below for you, it has a little clasp thing in the back, which i can just close like this, i'm just going to put it right where the elastic is and close it. So this is the hairstyle from the back. So if you follow me on instagram, you will know that i wear bows on pretty much every one of my pictures and i just love wearing them so much, and i think this hairstyle is a really cute way to wear a bow in your hair. So that was already it for this video. Thank you so so much for watching. I know it was a little bit of a short one today, but i hope you enjoyed regardless and please do. Let me know in the comments. If you tried one of these hairstyles yourself and how it turned out for you, i always love reading the comments down below and i'm so excited of the little community we already have on here.
