#fallhairstyles

Hey y’all! Try these hairstyles out and let me know what you think!

Hey y'all welcome back to sarah ghost clam. It'S just me trying to put a little glam in my life and i'm going to start off by saying thank you to those supporters that always stick by me. Even when they don't see a video for a couple of weeks. Um it's getting into a little bit of a calmer season with school, so hopefully you'll see some more soon. But today i wanted to do something a little different, because you know i like to do different things and kind of see what works and what doesn't, and so i thought today i'd talk a little bit about hair. I don't really talk much about my hair because i'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair and i'm a little older 46, and you know there's a thing that i guess it's just something. That'S kind of always been out there, which is more the older. You get kind of the shorter the hair, but i don't really believe in living by rules. So i think you know you do what you want to do with your hair and yeah. What works for you. So i thought today that i talked about a couple of things, a couple of products, and i think i thought i would talk about headbands, because those are kind of my go-to's right now and if i'm just having one of those days putting on a little headband, Can always make it better, so i thought i'd talk about that and i thought i'd talk about how simple and easy you can do some hairstyles with one little rubber band. I don't know about you, but i tend to find myself sometimes watching those videos about updos and thinking. Okay, i'm going to try that or that looks good or can i do that and so sometimes i just try it out, and so i thought i'd show you a little trick too and some headbands that i got recently from some subscription boxes and even if you Don'T see me post them, i still get them, and sometimes i get to do a little, my favorites about what i've gotten what i have got in or received recently so okay, so i thought i'd talk about a product couple products, real, quick and show you some Headband ideas all right, so i'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to hair. Let me just tell you i just colored the roots that always gives me a little bit of a boost, and just i needed a little bit of color. I find that when i do a lighter box, color and yeah, i just use the regular clairol. If i do a lighter box color in my roots, it tends to show gray quicker and who's got time for that right. So i went to. I did a little bit of a medium brown this time and usually it blends pretty. Well, you put it on your roots. You leave about 10, maybe 15, depending on your gray, and then, when i hop in the shower. What i usually do is get the top wet a little bit with the main, color and kind of put it in the rest of the hair to make sure that it blends pretty seamlessly. Now i did this last night. Normally i wait a day or two because it fades pretty quick to kind of blend all together, but i think from medium brown. It did pretty well okay, so that was the main thing. So the other couple of things i wanted to tell you are a couple of products that i have literally been using for a good three to four months. One is this l vive it's a protein, so it doesn't keep your hair from getting so dry. It adds a little bit more into your hair and yes on my daily washer, especially since i'm teaching - and you know, there's just so much going on that - i want to come home and basically wash the day off. So i am a daily washer for the most part very rarely skip a day now. I know you're thinking that probably dries it out, but i have a real oily scalp, so i really need to wash it every day, but i'm very careful and cautious about the ends. I will use a daily treatment most days on the ends: real quick leave it on the shower three minute miracle. One of those works wonders y'all, okay, so that's one that i use pretty much every day and the other one is one i got recently in a box every time i try to set something up. I just knocked the whole thing down. I got recently in a box and it is this bio repair. Eight, it's a thickening blow dry spray. I find that you can use the thickening sprays, even if you're not blow drying, and that tends to work pretty well and gives you a little bit of a root or a boost right there. So i sprayed a little bit in there and i kind of like it as also a i guess. It'S just a cell stem cell complex scalp fortifiers. I like those products that are like ten on one eight and one that really do like everything in one bottle. Yeah and the other thing i pretty much use, and you can tell i pretty much use the whole thing. Is this moroccan hair serum? What the moroccan hair serum does is. My friend is here, of course, my hair serum does. Is it kind of puts a little bit of a protector on your ends? So if you take a little bit of this, my friend sid is going to check out everything on the floor again today, all right, so you put a little bit of this in just a little bit and you kind of put it on your ends. It kind of smooths them out takes any static out because you know static, sweaters right, it kind of gives your ends a little bit of a smoothness. So that's a great product. I got that in a subscription box a long time ago and i've just been using it like the heck out of that, so put it in your whole ends and it's pretty low maintenance guys. I wish at night i let it dry overnight and i used this little revlon kind of brush thing on the ends really quick today, and that is all she wrote. That'S all she did that's all. I did y'all okay, so those are the main products that i pretty much use every day or almost every day, and i kind of mix match a couple. I always like to try a couple new things, but for the most part, that's what i stick to regular shampoo and conditioner a treatment conditioner about every other day or almost every day, and that's pretty much it three minute. Miracle. Try that out you're gon na love that all right. So let's talk about headbands recently i told you, i always knock everything. Over recently in my subscription box, um bombay bombay and cedar. I got headbands now i did get two of the september boxes. Don'T know what happened there, but i got two different headbands, so i can make that work right. So i put on a plain top, so i can kind of show y'all all right, so i and actually pulled a couple more. This is a real cheap one. I got it maybe walgreens or something it's one of my favorites. I got it last year guys these wash real well too. I just don't know wash too i mean after, like i said after teaching all day yeah and then this one is from super cute. Little fall one from the happy headband company. You can find their instagram and then this one is just from target yeah, so you can find some really cheap, inexpensive ones. I know the happy headband does a five dollar friday one, but it usually sells out in less than 15 minutes. So just the word, but if you all know any etsy shops put them in the comments, because i'm always looking for some new cute headbands all right. So let's talk about the bombay and cedar one, this one as soon as i took it out, i was like whoa, that's really cute, so it's got kind of the knot. Let me show you a good picture of the knot. I'M not doing a very good job. It'S got a little knot and i, like the knot, a lot, keep an eye out for my friend okay. So these are my headbands and i'm so simple, and i just i'm such a simple headband gal and then you want to put the knot kind of at the top, maybe a little bit to the side. I tend to cover the ears a tiny bit because kind of how i like it and yeah. You can put your glasses right back on. I thought now i thought. Maybe when i started teaching, i thought when i started back in teaching, i thought maybe having the headband and the mask in the glasses might be too much, but truthfully doesn't really bother me. I thought it might, but it doesn't it's because for the most part i wear the mask the whole entire time in the classroom. Unless you know i'm getting a sip of coffee or something, but since i've got the kids, i got the kids and um in the classroom. They do have little little plexiglass dividers. They were their mask. I teach third grade, so i pretty much wear my mask all day and i thought this is going to be too much. This is going to drive me crazy, wearing a headband wearing a mask wearing my glasses too much, but for the most part it doesn't bother me so, okay, so that's that bombay and cedar one all right. Let me know what you think about that one, and then this is the other one. I like this because it's got you know your your mustard colors and it can go with the really simple things can go with all kinds of different colors. Like i said, i have a black shirt on all right, so this is the other one. This one also has the little knot, so i can do this without taking off my glasses. Every time i try to keep my glasses simple for this video. Also, all right has a little gathering in the back. It'S pretty comfy, i have to say pretty light pretty comfy. Oh i like this one. This is the first one i tried this one on like i said. I got a tiny bit over my ears, all right. What do you think about that? One, i'm kind of like that one! You can see the little knot, it's real, comfortable and yeah all right. What do you think about that? One all right, and then i have i kind of like that one. I don't know how i feel about that one anyway, so that was that one and then we have this is like i told you my favorite one. In fact, i just wore this one. I like to wear it with gray stripes oddly enough, but this one you can get like. I'M telling you guys this means a little bit silkier material. I feel like it's more comfortable that way than regular cotton ones and that one's got a little bit of a now. Some people will pull a little bit of pieces out here. Do some different things. I'M going to show you this one with the quick little. Oh here it is updo. Okay, all right! Let me try not to knock all those over okay. So when i do my little updos my little top knots, this one works pretty well with that or you can just do a little bit of a gathering back here. Let me show you that real quick you want it to be a little loose right here, a little show a little bit on top a little side, a little sad anything like that works too. I kind of work like this on friday to school all right for the updo. Let me try to do without tossing i'll, probably have to toss my head upside down like i said it works better when you put it a little bit over your ears. This is a wider one. I kind of like the wider ones too. I kind of like them all, okay, so for my top knot, it's gon na be messy normally for school. I won't wear it that messy, but it's gon na be a little messy okay. So let me show you a little trick gather at the very top kind of crownish part now on your second one, make a little bubble just a little one, just that little bubble baby bubble and then wrap you can twist. If you want wrap and mine kind of wraps twice right now so there's my second wrap and then i slide it. It takes one rubber manual. I slide it in the rubber band in the back to hold it and there you have turn it up. A tiny bit there you have a top knot and a headband that easy and it stays pretty well with the one rubber band now, there's all kinds of other things you can do. You can make your top knot. You can kind of twist it some more. You can make it loose, you can make it messy, but usually i just tuck it into the rubber band in the back, make it pretty easy, um yeah it's messier than i would probably wear it. Okay. So now let me show you what you can do with this other one: it's gon na be a little messy. Okay, usually i secure it a little bit better. I don't even use bobby pins. I don't think i even own any all right. So this cute little thing i have to get you a little top knot up. There tie this, you can do it twice. I kind of let's see if i do it twice there, we go all right, so you got these little things now. I was trying to kind of do them in a little bit of a a bow, but i couldn't quite get it to work because it wasn't long enough, but you can just leave them hanging. I would probably put it in the front: let them hang a little bit that one looks longer, so maybe i'd flip that one yeah or i was really trying to get it. I think if you tied it in the bow before you put it on, it might be easier trying to tie it. While it's on your head, that's a little tricky. I haven't quite figured that one out yet, but you can also do this in a your ponytail. I didn't do a great job, but you get the idea, it's kind of cute all right. So that's that and then the last one and that's as easy guys. You don't even have to use the rubber band. If you use this one, you don't have to use the rubber band because you have the rubber band here. You could use this for the side pony or the side. If you wanted to a little bit of a side, pull it around to the side and then you've got your little cute little tassels hanging down. You can do that too, and the last one let me show you is a little different. It'S a tie! Headband! I really like the tie headbands because i think they're cute okay, so this is the tie one it's tight already, so i'm going to leave it tied. It has a a seam. I put the seam in the back usually to where, when i pull it up, i'm not looking at the seam. If it works. Yes, all right, so that's that one and i'm telling you with the side part or what the front part a side part would work too. With the front part, though you can smooth it down and then put this on, because this already has height. So you don't want a whole lot of height and there you go. It is the simplest way, simplest way. How excited i get y'all the simplest way to freshen up your look and that's it yeah. It'S that easy and i'll. Let you in on a little secret. I trimmed my own hair last time, yeah how you ask or why? Why, because uh the world but and for many per se, i guess, but you just pull it over to the side, put a ponytail here and a ponytail here and trim trim the ends. Now you might need a little help from a little little friend, maybe um spouse, or you know, teenager, to trim, make sure the back is even but that's it all right. So those are my looks y'all and i'm telling you two of these came from a subscription box. One of these came from target the other one from the convene or the little cvs or walgreens, and one little rubber band is all you need for some easy hair looks fall and i'm kind of excited to get some new headbands for the holiday season. I'M already eyeing a couple, so some little camper ones and some little things like that. So all right. So these are all the things i did. These are everything i used super easy super simple. All right try it out, and let me know what you think and let me know your favorite look and again thank y'all, my supporters. Thank you for sticking by me all right. Y'All

Janine Huldie: Hi Sarah!! Happy to see a new video by you and also like you, I love long hair. I don't care about my age and totally keeping my hair long and have no plans on cutting it short anytime soon. Loved seeing the fun headband and updo ideas. At this time of the year, I am all about the slouchy beanie hats. Bonus, you can go a bit longer getting your roots done wearing a hat to cover all. Hugs and hoping you have a wonderful week ahead now <3
