Hey guys welcome back to my channel, my name is kiara and for this week i thought we could sit down and i could show you some of my tips and tricks on how to get your hair to last when using the dyson over the last couple of Months, i've heard and seen a lot of people on tik tok talking about how they are not able to keep that beautiful, 90s matilda dirt until the dark blow out to last all week and i'm proud to say that i have so. These are just some of the things that i do to be able to maintain that beautiful um voluminous bouncy luscious hair for an entire week towards the end of the week. I end up kind of wearing my hair more in a ponytail just because it's dirty, but in my ponytail it's still looking very luscious, so here we go and, of course these are some of my tips and tricks. Everyone'S hair is different, so i hope that these these tips work for you, but if not, i would recommend going into the dyson store and talking to one of their employees, because everyone's hair is different and there might be different techniques for you. But trust me when i say once you've mastered the dyson like there's no going back. It is literally god's greatest gift to us here on earth all right now, let's actually get into it. Here is my trusty dyson um and the parts they ordered the parts. The um pieces that you'll need today are these small barrels, obviously the where is it the blow dryer and then the smoothing brush and then at the end might use this one depends and then obviously you need a whoa ow. You need your actual dyson um and then a hair clip to part your hair to prep for this video. I just washed my hair with my shampoo conditioner, currently i'm using olaplex. So i did that and then i put in olaplex number six, which works as a styling treatment as moisture strengthen, reduces frizz for 72 hours, meaning it's not heat heat protectant, so i'm just going to grab a random heat protectant. I have this oil one by ptz. Beyond the zone, and then we get into rough drying your hair, or in this case my hair. So when it comes to rough dry, i really mean just rough like just kind of like frizz it up. You want some more volume at the roots flip it over. That kind of stuff, whatever technique you use, it really doesn't matter. The only thing i would recommend is dry, the part that you're currently focusing on so for me, i'm starting with this side i'll dry this to 85. This side, i won't dry fully to 85, because when i'm styling this side of my hair, this side is also simultaneously drying, meaning if it gets too dry, it won't hold and it won't style as well. The settings that i have my dyson on for this portion is high heat and high fan, because i want this to be fast. I don't want to do this for a million years, so let's now get into that portion. Now, i'm going to part the one side that i'm going to be focusing on first, and it doesn't really matter how you part: it doesn't need to be a clean part, just part it and then clip the rest away. And what i like to do is now. I like to go into each time. I start a new section i'll brush through it first with the smoothing brush, which will really help dry the roots. I know that's one concern a lot of people have so my tip is to go in with this brush. You can really get in there and dry it to make sure that the root is straight because the blowout is a smooth blowout. You know it's not like ringlets from your scalp, so i'm going to go and do that now now to get into the actual blowout portion so grab your um barrels and if you look in the mirror, it'll show you which direction the barrel is going. So this one is going outwards and for this case i want my curls to also go upwards. There are times i actually really like the inwards curls. It almost feels very like rachel from friends like very 90s, and it is a vibe, but for today we're gon na do curls flipping outwards. So just add that attachment and the most important part for this this portion is to section the hair, allow the um the dyson to do its work and suck it up and stuff, but do 10 milliseconds 10 10 mississippi's on hot, and i leave it at the Hottest because again like i really want this to hold and then once it's curled, i leave it in. I shoot up it upwards for 10 mississippi's again making sure that it really really cools and that'll help hold the curl. Look at that curl! So, okay! So if you have the type of hair that doesn't like to hold curls or doesn't like to hold the style, so maybe you can find her hair whatever it might be, you can go and grab the curl like this, so grab a regular clip. Just like this one can't even see it, you know just whatever regular clip and then clip in to the curl and then finish the rest of your head with this in and then wait. 10 15 20 minutes whatever and then take it out, and this will help preserve the curl. So my hair holds well so i'm actually not gon na do it and i also don't have enough clips, but i've done it in the past and it works phenomenally. So on the bottom layers, i actually like to curl all the way to the root, so you saw like i was holding the barrel close to my scalp, because it adds a little bit extra volume for your overall hair. So i'm just going to do what i just previously did section my hair again again doesn't need to be a perfect part, the hair that i already styled i'm going to put in the back and then clip the hair away. My opinion is like i know some people have said like doing this to your hair, with the dyson takes so much time, but then my rebuttal to that would be if i were to blow dry my hair and curl it i feel like it would be just As much time, if not longer - and this lasts so long - it's so much better for your hair and it looks more of like a blowout which is the vibe. Currently you know so i i don't mind it and the dyson. I know it's expensive, but it does everything like i use the other brush the this brush. I use this one for straightening my hair and then obviously the barrels for curling, my hair, the other barrel with like the the brush, that i haven't really used that that much but the other ones. I use all the time and i can do anything and everything with those products like i no longer even use my curling iron. Never so i'm gon na start with my bangs, and i want to have like swoopy um. What are they called? Oh, my gosh. What are they called? I just everyone was having them. What were they called from fang? No, oh, my goodness. What were they called? What were they called? I can't remember what they were called long bangs, oh, my goodness, okay! Well i'm having a brain fart right now. I forget what they're called, but this is how i do it. I know this looks absolutely insane like i literally look like i belong in, like grease the movie grease, but you'll see at the end. When i brush it all out, it makes sense and it'll drop, as i'm finishing it up as well um, but i just see like gives that fake. I can't remember what the bangs are called. Oh, my goodness, everyone was doing them whatever those blowout bangs. That'S gon na really bother me, i'm really sorry so yeah, i kind of just like give them volume by going to the roots and pulling backwards. So i like, i blew them backwards and then i held them at my eye because that kind of gives, like the most layered effect, all right. So this side is done and i'm going to let it sit until i'm done this side and then once i'm going to do the left side on off camera, because it's the exact same steps and everything as the right side and then i'll come back and show You my final step, that is a game changer, because right now i kind of look like um a little shirley templey, and this is not the vibe we're going for it's beautiful on its own, but not the entire vibe. So i'm gon na go finish the left side off camera and i'll be right back all right all right, so both sides are now completed. Um. If you feel like on the top like you might have a crease or it's a little bit fuzzy like frizzy um. You can go in with the smoothing brush again, but i would put it at the low low speed and at the lower heat and then just kind of brush through just the top just like that, just to kind of flatten those up a bit um. But besides that, i'm actually going to let my hair cool for about 10 minutes. I don't always do this, but you get the best results if you have had the time to just sit in the hair for for a minute, um and then we'll brush it out. So i let my hair sit for a bit and now the final step is grab a wide tooth comb um. This one is actually the one that i have in my shower to help me brush out my hair when i'm in the shower, so it did fall. A bit already but i'll just kind of brush through, but if you find that your hair doesn't hold as well and you're, worried about brushing it through with a comb, just run your fingers through it and for me i've never had a problem with brushing it out. But like i said, if your hair is a bit stubborn, then maybe don't use a brush, and then there you have it guys. Look look how nice - and this will last me literally the rest of the week um by day. Three probably need a bit of dry shampoo. Personally, i hate dry shampoo, so which is kind of why i opt up for, like opt out, opt for um updos or like half up half down headband sucks. I hate headbands. No, i love headbands. I hate dry shampoo. It feels so gross on my scalp, so yeah um and then one last tip if you'd like you, can actually go and grab some hairspray and just lightly spray. It a bit and it'll also help you hold the style, but the whole point of it is to not be perfect, like i have some straighter pieces, but it kind of goes with the entire look. So it's very effortless, very 90s, very bouncy makes your hair look. So healthy and i get so many compliments when i blow dry, my hair makes my hair look so so thick like so nice, oh my goodness, but yeah. So this takes us to the end of this video.
