My name is Chris Rios I do cutting and coloring especially like highlights, I feel, like I'm painting something it's really a creative outlet and I really enjoy it. I work with a handful of celebrities such as Janet Jackson. I forked Jessica Simpson, Sylvester Stallone Dan Harvey Jim Belushi Harry it's the kids on the street. That'S how I kind of stayed crush because I feel like it starts there and then we'll see it on the runway in a year or so, and then everybody wants it. When they sit in your chair, this is my go-to up to you: can do it day after you've washed your hair gon na be a little dirty, actually the dirtier the better. So it gives you a little more meat, a little more grip to work with you want the hair to be big and messy. You want to use a spray, anything that's going to give it more texture, fatten it up mess it up. Dorita I like to use a dry hairspray, I'm going to use the major body hairspray. It keeps the humidity out. It gives it a lot of body and volume and you just want to grab the hair there's no rhyme or reason you just grab it and spray. So now what you want to do is get the roots and the base of the hair more fat by teasing it. I like to use a wide tooth comb or a brush sections. Don'T have to be perfect, you just grabbing it and teasing. You want to knock back home around the hairline about a half inch away from the hairline teens. Now we're going to put the hair into a ponytail and you're going to bring it up high, I like to use a big fat rubber band because it just gives it more support at the base of the hornies, no you're not going to use a comb again. You want to be messy and break my fingers through her hair and I like, when there's separation and it's naughty in those parts. Now I have my ponytail and I want to go ahead and tease the ponytail now again just pick up sections, they can be random. They don't have to be perfect and you're gon na back home very lightly, all over the pointy tail, because this is going to enable you to have a bigger Messier. But now I have all my teasing in at this point. You could spray again because the more spray, the better it's going to give you a bigger textured messy bus. So now I'm going to do my bun, I imagine - and I was inspired by cotton candy with the way it swirls around. You can lean it's airy and peasy, I'm doing the same thing with the ponytail. You want to keep it big and juicy. So now I have my bun I like to use hairpins and bobby pins. This is a hair pin, and this is a bobby pin and you're just gon na anchor the base of it throughout the whole. But if you need to you can go into the bun with the hair pin if there's some pieces that are flicking out or you want more support, so I'm cleaning up their hairline just lightly meeting it up, and this is where I'd go over as well with The spray again, you can spray it on your hands or directly on the bun, just smooth it out. Now, I'm just going in and combing and neaten ingrains. So they look nice and shiny. I'M just gon na have her shake her head from side to side just to make sure that the ponytail is nice and secure, and if she told me that it was feeling loose, then I would add a bobby pin in that section: you're ready for dancing. Here'S the finished product and my favorite up. Do I wear this at least once a week, if not more, you can do it on yourself. It'S so easy who knew was just going to be a ponytail, a little teasing and you are good to go. Sandra McIntyre: I love to do this look for windy days, because the additional spray and pins keeps the hairdo anchored. Also, I do not like to "over-wash" my hair, and try to wash only once a week. I worry about breakage, and so am very careful how often and how much I back-comb my hair, and how I remove the back comb. I hope this is the best way: I usually take down the finished look with coconut oil mixed with select essential oils, a very wide-toothed comb, lots of patience and while watching TV... an overnight oil treatment before washing the next morning usually minimizes breakage, always combing from the tips, and gradually working my way up to the scalp.
