Hope you are all doing okay?! I know it's been a few weeks since I last uploaded but it was for a good reason!

I have been wondering how to offer you more value as my subscribers, what can give you as a thank you for watching that will actually be of use to you?

I thought a downloadable step by step to tutorials might be good, one that you could download and print so you could turn to it when you needed to.

I thought that if I did this for each video you could end up with a step by step book of vintage hairstyles. Pretty cool!

Every Friday I will send out That week's tutorial to anyone who has signed up. Easy - peasy.

Hair isn't the most important thing in the world but, sometimes knowing you have a super cool 'do' can make you smile and that can only be a good thing right?

Welcome to Fitfully Vintage, here, in my own litttle corner of Youtube I will show you how to create beautiful hairstyles from all eras. Sure, my main focus is on simple vintage hairstyling but I also love easy modern styles.

I don't have a favourite era, it changes all the time. One day it'll be Edwardian hairstyles that I'm all over, the next, pinup girl hair, the next I'll be all about Greek Goddesses and their crazy Barnets! I just love it all!

I do hope that you enjoy my videos and that you can learn something from them, even just a tiny bit - and even if you learn nothing I hope that they make you smile.

Hi, my name is nathalie weapon, typically vintage. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to create a vintage inspired, pinup esque up to using hair combs like these. If you would like to, I mean combs in the comment section down again, this style requires three of them and there is something quite important about the clips that you use. If you have average to thick hair. I really suggest that you look for the combs with this kind of space in between each are they called times or proms? I don't know who, but these kind of double ones. Let me show you once an arm double, and these are the kind of nath persons they don't hold as well as these double pronged ones. I guess if your hair is thinner, then you can get away with these ones, but certainly my hair's thick and I suggest, if you can, I mean if you've got thin hair. Also, I think these ones will work well. They just grip a lot better. So go for these ones over over these ones, so you're going to start with a nice deep center parting to your hair. This is going to go on show, so you might like to keep it nice and straight and towards the side, with more hair you're, going to twist against your hairline away from your face incorporating hair as you go down to your ear. I'Ll show you again how to do that, so you break away from your face using coorporate bits of hair from your hairline as you travel down from the top of your head towards your yeah, and once you get to your ear level, you're going to set make Sure you separate the back of your hair away, so doesn't hit not to you and continue to twist just three or four twists down the length and then pull up and away from your face bye-bye crow's feet and insert the first hair comb. You catch a little bit of the twist and then flip the comb, whilst putting on the tail of that twist and pushing the code you'll find it very, very secure. Thank you. So my wearing computer fan by the way, then repeat this process. On the other side. Twist down to the ear a few twists down the tail of that piece of hair and back away from your face, this is so the third comb doesn't interfere with the two top ones and insert the comb in the same fashion, catching a little bit of the Twist and then flipping the comb and pushing down when you see my hands doing it there, it's a terrible shot, but I'm just putting on the turn and pushing them home in and that keeps them really nice and secure. I find the hair directly behind my ears. Puffs out for this style, if I don't complete the next step, which is just securing the two pieces of hair behind each ear into a ponytail, my head use a tiny band. If you have one here, so it doesn't interfere with the rest of the style you're. Then going to take another small band and create take the rest of the hair into a low ponytail. You twist the twist the loose ends and wrap them around. Your finger and roll towards your head make sure you're tucking in any falling out ends as you go and then again grab a bit of hair from that roll with the comb and push it towards your scalp and that roll should fit very securely. That'S really simple! You can adorn with flowers if you wish, or even stick flowers to your comb. You can volumize your twists just by putting them put on them if they've become too flat to your head, and that is it all done. Thank you so much for watching. I really hope you liked the video don't forget to click that like button. If you did and comment Combes in the comment section down below, if you use hair combs irregularly or so, where do you buy them from? You can also click that link in the space underneath this video for the step-by-step instructions to this hairstyle. Thanks again, bye

Lucky Sweetheart Vintage: I’m so happy you are posting these videos again! So beautiful!

J B: This style is beautiful! I never knew how combs are supposed to be used. Will try it for sure.

Lil Ms Nat: Super cute and easy! I'm going to try this. I hope it works with my think curly hair ♥️

Tzlil Shatz: Love the look! Thanks ❤

Melanie Lester: I have just given this a go and it was very straight forward to recreate. I have three combs with the same tines as the ones you used but mine are probably half the size so if I had the bigger ones I think I would get it exactly right. Thanks for the video! X

adnamA baaN: Must find the larger combs!! This looks soooo pretty!

MeganTheOdd: COMBS! I love this style, thank you so much!!

TobNessa: Love this style! Now I need to buy some combs.

shimmygirl linda: a very classy style love it xx

C Morgan: Super simple! I need to get those combs, but I will still try with Bobby pins since my hair is thin anyway.

TxNursePatti: I love this! It's so simple, but it looks so classy and elegant! Does it hold all day, or do you find you have to adjust it as the day goes on...?

Amber Fester: Combs! I love them! I usually just buy mine at a drugstore. Shoppers drug mart, Rexall, pharma plus, or Walmart, I live in Canada. Great video! ❤

Mary Webb: I have only 2 Combs but am going to order more so I can do this look. I have just recently started using them. I have been using Grip-Tuth combs.

Stephanie Morey: Excellent, I love your videos.

Susan Peckham: Combs are usually readily available at ASDA supermarkets.

Michelle Tackett: Fabulous. I need to try this.

C Foster: Your hair looks super healthy.

L Welford: That's all pin up updo with a comb was simple from 1954.

Vintage Aesthetic: What method do you use for your curls I love the shape of your curls

Miss Toots: Hi, do you have any plans to do a tutorial for people with fine hair? By showing us on someone else I mean? I’ve asked a few times, but not sure if you take requests x

ladyflimflam: You still need the grip-tuth type combs with fine, thin hair. That hairtype is quite slippy and the straight tooth combs just fall right out.

Marie D: Very pretty. I think its helpful (at least to me), when you do close ups with the camera. It seems like you are sitting so far back.

Claudia Melo: Where can I buy those hair Combs ?

h.g.t.s ts: Love u for 5 yers!

Daniela London girl: Tried to get grip tuth combs as heard they are the best grippy ones but amazin and ebay dont deliver to the UK. At least the ones I wanted..anyone k iw where to buy these in the UK or good alternative? Have v fine hair and anything just falls out

A.Marie: You look like liv Tyler
