Trying Cheap Hair Extensions From Amazon! | Hairstyle Tutorial

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel my name's liana, if you're new and recently i dyed my hair black, i have these black hair extensions that i got a while ago and i haven't gotten to wear them because my hair was not the right color. So today we're going to try these on and um. I have tried these on before, but i can't figure out how to like wear them correctly. So i guess today in this video i'm going to be trying to make them look decent. This set that i got on amazon came with one two three four pieces, and this hair is synthetic of course, because i'm sure that real human hair would cost a lot more. It also came with this little comb. Detangling comb thing i found with fake hair is that it gets really tangled really fast and you don't really know like what to do with it. But yeah. This comb does a decent job at like taking out the tangles, but it also pulls out a lot of the hair. It'S really hard wearing extensions when you uh, when you have short hair, so i'm gon na do my best. Let'S get started, i don't have a lot of experience with hair extensions, so please bear with me i am a total amateur um, but i am starting off by sectioning my hair and i'm gon na. Do this with the plan to do a half up, half down style, so i'm taking the up portion and clipping that away and then for the bottom bits the ones that are going to have the extensions i section those two. I tie my natural hair into a little ponytail as to hide away the short hair, so it won't show, and then what i do is take the piece with the four clips and clip that right. Underneath that line, where i parted the sections, then i do the same for the next section right above it. My plan was to clip it as close to the root as possible, but, as you can see, it didn't really turn out that way and after a couple hours of where it started feeling really uncomfortable. But i'm sure that if i clipped it closer to the root it might have tugged on my scalp a little bit less. I look like i'm going to be in a chinese drama. That'S so exciting! There are two more extensions left, so it just kind of looks like this. If i let it all down um, so i have to do like a half up. Half down hairstyle because doing a fully down hairstyle is beyond my capabilities as a hair, amateur hair, stylist person, hair extensions - can also be really great for adding volume, but i mainly bought them for adding length and the hard thing is: there's a really big disparity between My natural hair and the fake hair, so i don't really know how to wear my hair completely down so for now i am doing the half up half down, so i had two more pieces left and i thought i'd make another section and try to clip them. But eventually i decided, i didn't really need those and it was just making it more difficult for me to tie the up part of the half up half down hairstyle, so i decided to go with just two and it was perfect. I tied my real hair into a bun so that you can't see how short it actually is, and i think it's actually pretty cute like this. I like it. This style is really great for hiding short hair and i'm not really sure how else you'd do it, but let me know if you have any ideas. Otherwise this is the hairstyle that i'm going to go for when i wear these extensions. As long as i have short hair all right, so i think this is the best that i can do um. I don't know how it looks in the back - probably really busted, but hopefully it looks okay. Hopefully i can pass for having long hair. Hopefully, it looks decent enough so that if i wear this in public, nobody will want to like do a double take to see if it's like fake but yeah. My hair is already really thick, so i feel, like two pieces were already sufficient. I feel nice and glamorous. I don't have a frame of reference for hair extensions, but i highly recommend this set if you are just starting out with hair extensions, and you just want to see what it's like.
