One Braid Hairstyles ♡ With Or Without Hair Extensions

Hi and welcome to my video so today I'm going to show you three hairstyles and these hairstyles include one braid or one plat and depending what you want to call it. And if you follow me on Instagram or on any social media sites or if you've watched my frog recently, you would know that I actually have extensions in my hair, and these are pre bonded extensions. Now, with these it's very hard to have your hair up or have your hair plaited without actually seeing the bonds. So I'm going to show you three different ways in which I like to wear Platts within my hair, because sometimes I really don't like to having boring straight hair every single day. I do like to change up a little bit and have different plats and different hairstyles. So I'm going to show you how you can do that really simple, really quick and really easy if you know how to braid already. I really hope you enjoy this video. Let'S go on to the first hairstyle, okay. So to start off, I've just sectioned off the side of my hair. So, as you can see at the top of my head of section, that'd be off as well, because that's the part that I'm going to use later just to cover up the bonds. And then here I'm just grabbing a piece here, usually just above my ear, because that's what I want to plat. Obviously, if you don't have extensions, you don't really have to worry about covering the bond, so you can just pull out whatever piece you want to plat and so to start off the fishtail braid, I'm going to take two sections and I'm going to call one section Section a and the other section section B, so we want to do - is take a small section from behind section a and pass it over and hand it over to Section B. And then you want to take a small section from behind section B and hand it over and pass it to section a and you just keep doing this so basically in your head, you have to think I'm going to take a section rim section. I pass it over to Section B, take a section for Section B and hand over to Section A it sounds really confusing. But if you keep that in mind, then you'll be able to create a really beautiful, fishtail braid, also the thinner, the sections that you take. The more effective the fishtail braid is going to look and also the more time it's going to take you to do as well. You also want to keep in mind that you need to hold two sections. Unless you are passing over, this will just make it easier, and this is what makes it different from doing an actual normal braid, because usually with a normal braid, you hold for three strands, whereas with a fishtail braid you actually holding two but just keep practicing and You'Ll finally get there once you have finally finished with the braids. I just like to pull some sections out just to make you look messy and not as tight, because I think of fishtail braids, it's more effective when it's messy and when it's loose looking and so just keep doing that until you are happy with it. And then I take out the section that I put up earlier and and this is what I'm going to use to hide the bond with. So if I just take some grips just to hide the top of the bond and just pin that back, it also helps you see the plat as well, because, obviously you don't want to keep your hair down over it and what you won't see the plat and So yeah that's the end of the first hairstyle. It'S really quick and simple to do, and you could also do it with a normal braid, not only a fishtail, braid, okay, so for this hairstyle I'm going to take a section from behind my ear - and this is very important because it hides where the plat is Coming from and it's because you want to kind of give the illusion that you're wearing a headband, and so it's very important that you try and hide weak and the platform. Basically, and so with this, when you can actually do a fishtail braid if you wanted to. But I'm just going to do a three strand braid, just because it's really quick and easy so to secure it down. You could actually use a clear elastic bubble, but I don't actually have any. So I'm not going to use any you don't have to use, and if you don't want to, but I'm going to do is basically pull this piece of hair over and clip it on the other side of my over here behind the rear, and so it gives The illusion that you are actually wearing a headband so yeah, because that section there is shorter. I basically just twist it around a longer piece of my hair and then that's what I grip it to so once it's secure, you could actually move the platform a bit past down there. Your eyes, if you wanted to so you can give it a bit more wiggle and you feel actually backcomb the back of your hair as well, just to give a bit more for you but yeah. That'S the finished! Look! Okay! So if this last hairstyle, I wasn't actually sure what to call it. It'S very beautiful, a very simple to do it's something that I imagine bridesmaids to wear. So it's very formal, looking and very smart, and it's really simple to do so. What you need to do is take a section from behind the middle part of your hair, and you basically just have to plant this, and you can do a fishtail braid if you want to, but it takes longer. So it's just quicker to just do a normal braid and also you can secure it with a clear elastic bubble. But again I don't have any so you don't really have to use what, if you don't have one, and so what you want to do is take that section of the plat and wrap it over and secure all your hair within that section there. So it's kind of like you're using it as a bauble, but you're actually not going to you're going to secure it underneath with some hair grips, as you can see I'm doing here, but once that's all secured, you just want to start messing around with it and Because I've got layers I like to, pin it back underneath the braid just make it really smart, it can make it look messy if you want to have your fringe out things like that, but yeah, that's basically it it's really simple. Really beautiful hood as well use your own individual style with it. So you could add. Flower grips anything like that, be really creative with it, it's so beautiful and really simple to do.
