Khloe Kardashian Half-Up High Ponytail Hairstyle Using Clip-In Hair Extensions - Luxury For Princess

Hey guys Stephanie here from little lady Lori, I'm here today to show you how to get khloe, kardashian's high pony, half updo hairstyle. So, let's get started, i'm going to be using my luxury for princess princess deluxe 160 grams set today, I'm taking a clean section just above my ears, and pinning my hair out of place now for every section of hair. Today, I'm gon na be teasing it. That gives the extension something to really grip on to I'm using. My first section is going to be my 6 inch wide 3 clip weft, I'm going to apply my second six inch wide 3 clip weft directly. On top of that, one to create a lot of volume at the nape of the neck, now taking a clean section about an inch above that I'm going to tease the hair again and then I'm going to be using my 7 inch wide 4 clip weft. You can use whatever extensions fit the best for your hair in this process going another inch higher teasing my hair and I'm going to be using my 8 inch wide 4 clip weft turning around. So you guys can see what I'm doing. This is the section that's gon na be in the high pony, so you're gon na pull it up and pin it out of the way. Now, what we're doing that's a little different is, we are gon na, be taking our extensions and flipping them upside down. So I'm gon na be using my 4 inch wide to clip left and I'm not flipping it up and I'm pinning it upside down. That gives it a really smooth look and it makes it much more comfortable when you're pulling your hair up. I'M going to take about a section about an inch higher, I would say, and I'm gon na pin my second four inch wide to clip left upside down. Now that I'm done, I'm smoothing my hair out and I'm gon na take a clean section, just above my ears going diagonally and meeting in the back. This is gon na, be your high ponytail. Oh, you want to make sure you're smoothing this out and getting this completely tangle free once you have your ponytail the way you want it, you want to secure it in place with a hair elastic. If you can like me and you get a lot of flyaways use some kind of a wet hair wax and smooth your hair back, because you want this to be extremely sleek. Now I'm using my Tresemme heat tamer spray. You always want to use a heat protectant on your hair extensions when you're using heat tools, I'm just brushing this out to distribute that product and I'm going to be using a one and a quarter inch curling iron. Now you guys can see there's a little bit of steam that suggests from the heat protectant evaporating, I'm curling my hair away from my face. I love this type of curl with long extensions they're, so beautiful and bouncy for the second section, I'm gon na be curling. My hair, towards my face, so I'm gon na be rotating between curling away and chrome towards my face, but I'm always gon na curl. The sections be closest to my face away from my face. It just gives your hair a more sleek look. My hair extensions are getting in the way for that top ponytail, so I'm just pinning those out of the way and then going at it curling towards my face and curling away from my face until I reach the high ponytail once you reach the high ponytail, I'm Taking about half inch sections that gives the curl just a bit more definition, and you want that in the high ponytail, because there's obviously less hair up there, then there is falling at your shoulders. Americaís ting that same process of curling towards my face and away from my face that makes sure that your curls are super voluminous and bouncy and that they don't only swirl together this way they push off of each other and create more volume. Once you have all your curls done, you want to take a small section of hair from the back and wrap it around the hair elastic. This is just going to disguise the elastic and it gives it a little bit more of a high-fashion feel and then you can just secure that with a hair pin now I'm just fluffing my curls playing with them a little bit and then I'm gon na. Take a wide-toothed hair brush. You don't really want to use too much of a teasing comb. You really want to just use a eight really white tooth hair brush and give it a really light light tease. This just creates volume and then once you're done spray it with some hairspray, and that is it. That is the final look. This is your Khloe Kardashian high pony, half updo.
