How To Hair Chalk With Hair Extensions - St. Patrick'S Day Hairstyle | Instant Beauty ♡

Hair Chalking!

Happy St. Paddy's Day!!!! We hope that you have a fun and safe day wearing green from head to toe :)

In this video we show you how to add some green to your hair (or any colour for that matter) using chalk. It is simple and wont damage your hair or your clip in extensions.

What you will need:

-Soft Pastel Chalk (oil based products will stain your hair)

-Water (it's best/easiest to have it in a spray bottle)

-Gloves to keep your hair clean as it will get messy!

-Old towels to protect your clothes

-A hot tool to lock in the colour

How to Hair Chalk:

1. Once you have put on your gloves and covered your self with a towel (unless you are do extensions while they are not on your head. Then use the towel to protect your work surface)

2. Wet the hair. The more wet the hair is, the easier and better your hair will look.

3. Rub the chalk on the hair until the colour shows. The colour dries much more vibrant than you see it when it's wet

4. Either let your hair naturally dry or blow dry it - blow drying does make the colour more dull

5. Run a flat iron or any hot tool over the pieces to lock in the colour. This will help make sure that the colour stays in place

6. Add in your extensions (if they were out) and voila!

How to Wash out the Chalk:

-The colour will last in your hair and in your extensions until you wash it out. For your own hair and your extensions, the colour will come out with water and shampoo

Hi beauties it's Rachel and Sam here from instant Beauty, happy st. Patrick's Day yay. So, since st. Patty's Day is a day where you wear green and you dress up, we thought why not show you guys how to do some hair talking with extensions and use some green so for hair talking, the best type of chalk to use is soft, pastel Chalk, you don't want to use an oil-based pastel because it will actually stay in your hair and you don't want to stay in your hair, especially if you're blonde or have a lighter, color hair. If you use certain colors, it won't come out. It'Ll, probably last quite a long time, and you don't really want that unless you do, but this is a soft pastel chalk and once it's in, if you were to shower that night or city left written for a couple days, it will come right out. So you have no worries, so this chalk is available at any craft store and it comes in a wider range of colors. So you know, if you ever wanted to do it with other colors, you could do it. It doesn't have to be just green for st. Patty's Day. It could be for any theme. Any party anytime, you want to use it, so we're just gon na show you how to do it right now, so the hair chalking is really easy. All you need is your chalk. You need some water be sure to have a towel, that you don't mind, ruining cuz it's gon na get everywhere. You should have some latex gloves to protect your hands. Of course you need your extensions. We'Re gon na be using blond ones because it's easier to see the green, you can use any color, but of course the color is gon na show up differently on darker hair. So if you have lighter ones, that's better and then for the last step, just make sure you have a hot styling tool to seal in the color. So now we're all protective. We have our towels and our gloves on we're. Just gon na show you how to do it and then you guys can watch us get some green hair. So from my st. Patty's Day style, I decided to do some green streaks in my hair, so I'm gon na use my human hair clip in highlights and dye them green. So the first thing that you're going to do is wet your extensions. So if you want your full extensions, dyed, you're gon na wet the entire thing, if you only want the ends, then just wet the ends. So now that it's nice and what what you're going to do is take your pastel and rub it on until you get the desired color blue green. So this is pretty bright green. So the idea is just rub: the chalk onto the hair and just sort of work it in okay. So this is what it looks like right. Now, it's still wet you have to let it dry, of course, and then it's best to use a hot styling tool. After it's dry to lock in the color, so now we are just going to green hair. So, as you can see our Hara some green hair, so my extensions are already in. I just wanted to do kind of like the tips kind of like a dip dye kind of look yeah and I'm doing the streaky look so I'll show you guys I just felt like I said it was just the clipping highlight that I dye and it's so Easy to do just put it like that. I know you got streaks, so you can definitely tell the difference between what the green looks like on dark, hair and then the blonde. It all depends on what your hair is, but it really works. I have pretty dark brown hair and I have green hair so yeah it works pretty good yeah. So now that you have your green hair, you just add some. You know fun little accessories here, so um yeah. I hope that you would enjoy this. Video have a very safe and fun st. Patty's Day and enjoy your green hair yeah. Okay, so we'll see you guys next time, bye, bye, exam,

Melanie Bizonia: I just got inspired to do my tips green :D thanks girlsss3
