Watch as Ladies' Home Journal shoe you how to do an updo for short hair! Short hairstyles for women can be frustrating, but this is where some good accessories come in handy. Bobby pins and hairspray will be your favorite tools. Tease the center part of the front of your hair, twisting and securing it back for a basic pompadour. Next, take one side of the front portion of your hair and twist it back, all the way to the end. Secure this to the back of your head with bobby pins. Do the same thing to the other side, meeting the two sides at the back. Criss-crossing your bobby pins will help them stay in place better. With all of the hair lifted off of the front of your face, continue this short hair updo by sectioning the back into two halves. Start very close to the root with one side, and twist it upward. Secure this with pins. Doing the same for the other side, all of the hair is off of your neck. Use hairspray generously to hold back frizz. For a dressier cute hairstyle, add hair accessories with some glam!

Hey, ladies, it's Janine from Beauty, sweetspot calm and I'm going to show you how to fake an updo with short hair. I'Ve come to find out that bobby pins are going to be your best friend start with a basic pompadour. It'S an easy way to get the hair in the front out of your face. Next, take the side, and just simply twist it back, I'm going to twist might a little bit tightly, but depending on how you want your style to come out, you could twist it a little bit looser as well all the way to the end, and I'm going To secure it in the middle of my head with two criss-crossing bobby pins, then do the same thing to the other side: meet it with the other end. So they look neat and secure it with a bobby pin and again make sure you crisscross your bobby pin. So they don't come and done now. The whole front of your hair is pulled back and it's time for the challenging part, the back. What I recommend is sectioning it into two sections, starting again with one start very close to the root to get the baby hairs. In and do another twist, the style is really about twist and pin very simple, but it looks really cool tear it again. You'Re almost done yet one more section again start it very close to the root and twist it going up towards the center and secure it, and that's how you pull your hair up now, I'm going to spray it now, just a little bit in the front or Hold smoothen any frizz ease a lot in the back. Now, I'm done with the app do. As you can see, all of the hair is up off my neck off my face. I actually can't believe I got the short hair up and you can leave it like this if you'd like, but since I'm going to a lot of weddings in summer, I found some cute accessories to make it look a little bit dressier. I have this clip that I'm going to place directly in the center, where all of my twist and bobby pins meet I'm just going to place it right here and secure it, and this will just dress it up a little bit more and that's how you fake An updo with short hair takes a lot of bobby pins.
