Hey guys, it's Jackie, and today I'm going to show you this super easy bohemian updo. It'S been my go-to hairstyle lately, because it's just so easy effortless gets the hair out of your face and it has that very messy bohemian look to it. And if your hair is a little awkward length like mine is right now this is perfect. So the first thing you want to do is gather your hair as if you are going to create a ponytail. So here I've gathered my hair and we're not actually gon na tie it in a ponytail we're just gon na hold it and then now we're gon na twist. It up just like that and then twist it sideways so that the hair overlaps it, and this is kind of creating a French twist. Almost so now. You'Re, just gon na want to secure it with some bobby pin to hold that French twist that we created, and if you have thicker hair, you may need to grab a few extra bobby pin. I have pretty thick hair, so I used about six or seven bobby pins. What I love most about this hairstyle is that it's so easy, as you can tell I'm not using a mirror - and I am doing this hairstyle, so you can do this anywhere like in the car at the beach like. I am so I'm just feeling around to make sure there's no hair sticking out or anything like that, and I like to tug on the top just so that there's a little bit of volume and it's not super flat against my head today. Here is what the back looks like and we're done with this part. So now, moving to the front, you can choose to leave your bangs or your shorter layers out, which would still be really cute, but I like to get all the hair out of my face. So I like to take them and just do a gentle light twist and then pin it back with a bobby pin. So not only am I wearing this hairstyle a lot, because my hair is at that awkward length right now, but I also have been wearing this for days that I'm just having a bad hair day. So this is like my little go-to for bad hair days. So now that we've pinned up our bangs or our shorter layers, I like to grab a little bit of my baby hairs just to frame my face and give it a softer more romantic feel so that is it for this tutorial.
