Hey guys so today I wanted to show you a special occasion. Updo specifically, this one is for New Year's. So today I have my hair in Dutch braids pigtails. So I'm just going to remove these so now we're going to do a twist, so you're going to divide your hair into two sections. Take the bottom strand cross over the top add in section to the bottom string cross it over the top section, add in hair to the bottom section and then you're going to cross it over the top section. Add hair into the bottom section cross it over the top section and then keep going you're going to add in hair to the bottom section cross it over the top section. So we're just twisting it and again add in hair from the bottom or cross it over. The top add hair from the bottom cross it over the top easy enough right and then you're just going to take the rest of the hair and you're just going to twist it over itself and then you're going to take a small, clear elastic and then you're Going to tie it but you're going to make like a little loop like I did at the bottom. So now we're gon na bobby pin some of the twists. So I'm just gon na tug on them a little bit and then I'm going to begin Bobby, pinning them into place. So they don't move. So I'm just doing this. I'M grabbing some of that twist and then probably pinning it to my head, and I do this to each one. So I make sure it's all secure and not going to move. Then I'm going to take the bottom part and just kind of fold it under the twist and then bobby, pin that into place as well and then I'm just Bobby pinning the hair. So it doesn't fall out and then I'm just going to kind of tug on the twist make it look a little bit bigger and then bobby, pin any kind of hair. That'S hanging out, then I'm going to toggle on the top of the hair. Give it more of a textured look, so then just do that all around your head until you are happy, you can also curl your hair in the beginning, and this will make it have some texture as well, but I didn't want to do that so now. I'M just going to take the front strands and I'm just going to curl them, not really that I just want to add like a little subtle wave, so I'm just gon na wrap it around and then release it. And it's just like a little wait. It'S not like super curly or anything, so that was it. That'S all to the tutorial super easy. This is great for a really any occasion, but this videos right around New Year's. So this is a New Year's tutorial, even though I'm not going out for New Year's. I'M gon na be sitting on my couch, but hey if you're going out and you need a hairstyle this one's for you. I did forget to take out a bobby pin if you notice on the left side right here, but it's fine but anyways. I hope you guys, like this, put some hairspray on it, you're good to go thanks for watching bye.

Payton Chiasson: Love this hairstyle it's so pretty!

Rosa Coria: Beautiful ❣️looks easy.. I want to try this thank you

Kelli Mosher: will you please do a tutorial on your eye makeup? It looks amazing here.

Emily Rosenzweig: Thanks! I've never thought of pinning each section of the twist!

Elizabeth Lind: How do you do the Bobby pins in the beginning when layering the different pieces over each other so they don't move?

Wheelsnoheels - Gem Hubbard: very pretty. Happy 2018, Ill have to try this one :)

Daveonarave: You have a very talented pair of hands - you were simultaneously twisting and pulling up - not easy (I sometimes had a go at doing my former girlfriends hair so i know) but you did a tip top exquisite job! How many pins - roughly did you use? I also absolutely adore your lipstick - absolutely pristine! How do you manage to load your mouth with pins and not mess up your lips at all? Genuine question! :)

Alicia Cárdenas Aguilar: Con esa cara tan linda todos los peinados te quedan hermosos!!!

NeonHologram666: My hair isn't thick enough for this, also was hard to tuck the end of my hair back into the twist (guess its too long and isn't thick enough to "hide"). Was a really good tutorial anyways :D

Mia Clément: What's the name of the product you put in your hair in the start of the tutorial? It looks like some kind of texture powder but I've never seen anything like this one before

Rod Soriano:

Atrayee Roy অম্বা: 1st comment. Wow so beautiful.
