Guys so for today's video i wanted to do some wedding hairstyles. I want to show you some really easy: beginner friendly half up half down hairstyles. I want to make this kind of like a series, so we'll do some updos some half up half down some ponytails, but we'll start like at the bottom and work our way up to the harder ones. So let's go ahead and get started these hairstyles. They can be great for weddings, but they can also be great for just everyday hairstyles special occasions. Anything like that. You can do them on yourself or family members or friends. So i do have a couple different hair accessories i might include in my hair. I don't know we'll just see what it looks like. I do recommend always always getting good bobby pins, conair or the scoochie or. However you say it. Those are not good. You need the metagrip ones. These are from sally's. You can get them on amazon, but they are almost triple the price, so just get them on sally's they're like three dollars, i'll link them in my description box. My hair is already curled. I just used a one inch curling iron. I will also link that and then i went in with some dry shampoo. This is from target and then a mica texture spray. So you want to start out by grabbing a small section right in the middle of your head and tying it off with a clear elastic, we're going to create a hole right above our elastic and we're going to flip that ponytail up through that hole and make Sure you pull all of your ponytail through it once it's all pulled through. Then you just want to tighten it for some texture, i'm just going to pinch and pull a little bit at the top. So now we're going to repeat, but we're just going to grab a section from the right side of our head and the left side of our head. We'Re going to tie those sections off with a clear elastic and just place it right over what we just created. Now we don't have to create a hole. We already have one so we're just going to take our hair and flip it up through and just make sure you pull all of your ponytail through once it's all pulled through. Then you just want to tie it tight and make sure it is nice and centered and again just pinch and pull for some texture. Then we're going to do the exact same thing so again grab a section from the right side. A section from the left side combine them, tie them with a clear elastic and then just flip it up through and then pull it tight and again pinch and pull each side to create some texture, and you do kind of want to pull it down. Um you're going to have to kind of maneuver each section so that there's not any gaps so just pinch and pull all around until you're happy, i'm framing my face with some hair in the front and i did decide to add a hair accessory. And then this is what it looks like. I think it is super cute super wearable i'd probably make my hair a little bit curlier, but i really like how it turned out hairstyle number two. So we're just going to create half a path down. Hairstyle tie it off with a hair elastic, create a hole like we did with the first hairstyle but you're going to take your ponytail and go under and then pull it up through that hole that you created so we're doing the exact opposite of what we did With the first hairstyle, so it creates kind of this voluminous ponytail, then just make sure you tie it tight. Now i'm going to take that ponytail clip it away and then i'm going to grab a section from the right side of my head and then grab a section from the left side of my head and then i'm just going to take those two pieces and twist Them around my finger so just give them both a little twist and then combine them, and then you just want to take a clear elastic and then tie them off. And then you can let down that hair that you clipped away now just pinch and pull each side to create some texture. So now i'm just going to pinch and pull out the top add a hair accessory, and then this is what it looks like. So you could wear this as a half up half down hairstyle or wear it as a ponytail. I do recommend teasing it quite a bit to make it really voluminous, but i really like how it turned out. I know a lot of people have trouble getting hair. Elastics out, so this is just like a face shaver. I just take it and do that and it comes right out i'll. Do it at the top too boom. It'S not a super sharp blade. You can see it's not cutting my finger or anything but works great for hair elastics and now. Last but not least, i'm just going to take a section in the middle of my head and i'm just going to give it a little twist and bobby. Pin it and then do the same thing with a small section right next to it, give it a little twist and then bobby that bobby pin that one right next to that one, and here i'm just kind of pinching it pulling it for some volume and texture. Now i'm taking a section of hair from the left side, dividing it into two equal strands and i'm just going to twist those two strands right around each other. All the way down, so just keep twisting them so now just pull out the bottom twist. So just stretch it out, make it nice and fluffy and then just take it drape it around those two bobby pins that we bobby pinned earlier and just add another bobby pin to hide those and then do the exact same thing on the other side. So just grab a section twist: it pull on the bottom section and then drape it across and then bobby pin it right next to the other twist. So it should look something like this and then now we're going to take a section from the right section from the left, we're going to combine them and we're going to tie them with a clear elastic. Once you do that, you don't need to create a hole or anything you just want to take that ponytail and you want to flip it up and then pull it through and then make sure you tighten it make sure everything is nice and centered. Now, just like the rest of the hairstyles, we're going to pinch and pull for some texture and then do this on the other side too, do this all around your head make sure everything is nice and symmetrical even and looks good? I added a clip pulled out. Some hair in the front, and then this is what it looked like. I do think this one is probably my favorite hairstyle. I really love this one, so that is it. I hope you guys found this video helpful. Idk why but I have the hardest time using them when I put my hair in a bun. It seems like in every hair tutorial video I see they just stick them in there and they just stay and then when I do it myself they flop out lol.
