Easy Wedding Hairstyles: 3 Easy, Elegant Looks

Hey everyone: my name is Christian Hayden, I'm here with LeeAnn, and I'm going to demonstrate some great simple styles that are perfect for a wedding or for a destination wedding on the beach. The simplest way to get long loose waves is to use a flat iron. So we're taking really big sections so that it makes a nice long, loose natural wave and I'm twisting the whole section, just one full rotation and then sliding through the hair. Then, while the section is still hot and just twist it a little bit while it cools. So once that's all done we're going to start raking through all of these curls. These curls are great because they turn out a lot softer and they just look a lot more natural. So there we go. That could be one complete look on its own, so I'm just sort of collecting all of the hair just a little bit below her ear right in the corner of her hairline. Here we're going to take an elastic just going to put it once through just to keep it really loose, then we're going to do a simple three strand braid. Once we have our nice loose braid we're going to start texturizing it a little bit, then we're actually just going to start twisting it around. I'M going to take this cool accessory just place this right in just closer to the top of the bun, and then we just slide that right down a little bit of hairspray and we want to sort of soften up some of these pieces around her face there. We go all of these simple styles that we like to do for weddings. We want to make sure that they look really soft, really romantic. I'M going to rake all of her hair up with my fingers. We want to keep it really duce and natural, and then once we have our placement we're going to just start to twist or spin the hair we're keeping it really simple, so we're just using these spin pins instead of a whole bunch of bobby pins. Spinning these in like a corkscrew, so once that's all secured, you can start softening it a little bit around the hairline pull out a few pieces, so it doesn't look too severe there. We go the soft, simple, ballerina button. This is perfect. If you want to wear your hair down for the ceremony and then you want to quickly put it up for the reception, just have a few of these spin pins on one of your bridesmaids, so there you go.
