With summer coming up, I've started getting a lot of wedding hair questions and bookings. I thought it would be a perfect time to do a video tutorial on an easy, yet elegant bridesmaid updo that's simple enough to do at home, yet stylish eough to make everyone think you just walked out of a salon.

The basic idea of this bridesmaid updo hairstyle is a french braid with an encorporated low side-updo. To pull this off, you'll need to know how to french braid, and you'll need some bobby pins. It also helps give a softer look if the hair has a bit of curl before you start.

Hi guys I'm Tasha from blue hair and I'm here with the lovely Shanna and today I'm going to show you guys how to do a really easy, bridesmaid's updo for a summer wedding. So what we're gon na do. First, we're gon na. Do a French braid side. Braid that goes all the way around here to the back and it's gon na gather at the side and we're gon na do a little side updo like that, okay, so we're gon na start with a French braid. Take it boat this much hair, depending on how thick your hair is you're just gon na have to decide for yourself where you want to start and how much hair you want to start with, but we're gon na start about here and just go around the back. So once you've gotten to about here, you don't need to go anymore, because this is where we're gon na tie in an elastic and do a little up to on the side. So you're just going to take the hair, tie regular ponytail now and I've left this hair in front of the ear. So we can just bring that in later and work with that. So we'll leave that to last now all we're gon na do is take this hair and pin it up just in a nice messy bun. So don't think about this part too much it's easier. If the hair is actually a little bit curled, then, rather than being poker straight, it's just easier to work with gives it a softer. Look. So just take some pieces depending on how long your hair is, you might have to wind some up and pin them, but this is the part thing you don't really have to think about that. Much because we're looking for a kind of a messy softer summer. Look so now we're going to take this hair that we left em in the front and we're just going to incorporate that into the updo. Now I'm going to finish off with some hairspray, you always want to spray a hairspray on your work after you're done and one last thing, I'm just gon na go through their crown and just pull up a few pieces just to get a little bit more volume. If you would like, you can also backcomb this whole section before you braid it in that way, you'd definitely get more volume. It'S totally up to you, one more spray. So there you have it super cute super easy updo for your bridesmaids for your wedding. Not only that it's just a nice updo just to wear in the summer, if you're going out at night or to work very versatile, alright guys! Thank you so much for watching. If you have any comments or suggestions, please post them below the video I'd, love to hear them, and please subscribe to my channel. I would really love that as well see you soon bye, bye,
