A Very Detailed Extended Jungle Box Braids Tutorial Aka Butterfly Braids | #Jungleboxbraids

Hi everyone welcome back to my channel, so I'm going to be doing a quick tutorial on this jungle box braids and, as you can see, I did curl the ends, but the box braid she could have asked me. Do I like put the ends in hot water, but recently I realized that it actually looks way better when you curl the ends, because it kind of make the braids and the ends like it go together. Because imagine if the bridge is like jungle and then the ends were just like straight, I don't know it just looks weird um and it might look kind of stiff. So actually, I do have a story to tell in regards like the braid and how I got to you know: curling the ends of my clients um here, but first, let's get right into it, so I'm using Color 1B for my clients and she want to do Like the butt length um likes mediums, basically like somewhat like in line between like a small and a medium, you want to do butt lens, um, medium of the Jungle braids, and I'm going to be using Color 1B. I think I used about. I want to say three packs of braiding hair, three packs of basically any braiding hair that has like three bundles in them. That was what I used for my clients and I'm planning to see if I left any other okay, yeah and also it took me, I think about I wanted to say a good eight hours, because again it's stronger braids. It does take way longer time than regular. Braids are gon na take because you have to braid it and take out breathing like take out. So yes, it took way. I don't know it just too too long, but then again is um. That'S the medium and also it's um, butt lens and also it's jungle. Braids, so these does take way longer time than the regular box braids are gon na take, I would even say I could argue they actually take longer time than um. When I do the goddess breaker, you know the goddess: braids you're actually, like you know, adding curls. So that's also time as well, but for this one you have to like braid, braid, braid and then and then you know, take out the loop and keep braiding take out the loop on like the left and the right side. So yeah it's a little bit time. Consuming, I don't see Fool's getting those hairstyle done much. I guess because the way it looks, but I do think it looks very very pretty it does look nice. My client told me they had a lot of compliments. You know for the hair, so yeah I mean people were booking for it, but not as much. Maybe it was just book it like one time and that's it just like you know, try to look and see how they like it yeah. I'M sorry guys. So now we're gon na start braiding. So basically you just braid the way you just start a braid like you start your regular, like Nautilus, braids. You know, as you can see me doing right now. I mean I feel like if you want to do like the what they call the traditional box braids one where you have the knot. You can do that as well, but I am just um doing the knotless um part of it, because my clients actually requested for not less and plus. I just felt like. Okay, it just looks nicer through the knotless because it already looks like you know. It looks different. I wanted to have like a flat to look just a very pretty look. Basically, so now we're going to be fitting this hair and then make sure that we're all good to go with the fitting in and the hard part of this style, especially when your clients here is the same, is the same color as your braiding hair. I would say um um for Jungle braids. I actually prefer for my clients here any wedding hair to be different, because again it makes it easier for me to like take out. You know because one thing you don't want to do is take out your clay, natural hair because again like it just depicts the purpose of like having to be. You know having a productive hairstyle. So my goal is to take out, but only take out the braiding hair and, since my client's hair is the same color as a wedding hair. It'S hard for me to know which one to take out. So sometimes, if I feel like, I took out something and it's not looking and it's not looking the way I want it to look, I will always go back and rebraid it and then using a very good edge. Control helps me a lot because, again like I have to make sure that the natural hair is way under the braiding hair. And that way, it's easier for me to do like a taken out method and also if your client is doing like a video. And you might have you know, luck and like taken out because again, like it's more braiding here, so the you have higher chances of like taking out a braiding hair done your clients, natural hair, but yeah. That'S enough of the you know the hair and everything. So I did I kept I kept taking out every like every braid. I do maybe like one two and I take out or one two three and I take out, but usually it's like once when I think I was like, and I want I wanted to have like the fluffy look, and also one great thing about this. Hairstyle is that it's very lightweight, I'm telling you it's very, very lightweight, like literally I feel like they're taking out, makes it lightweight like it's extremely extremely lightweight, as you can see, I'm taking out and I'm braiding it again because again I felt like I didn't take It out right - or I felt like I took out the natural hair. Then I go back in bed again. So that's why it takes way longer time and I kind of have to like pay attention to my braid. If I'm doing the regular necklace like, I don't have to look at the braids, I'm just going to keep braiding and I'm good to go. But for this one I have to look to make sure that I'm actually like taking out the right, the right braid. So yeah back to being lightweight it's extremely lightweight. So that's what I love about the hairstyle as well. So when I was done with this, this um client and then she went home and she was like you know: what can we like curl the ends? I want to say I was going to look like you know, because the the straight ends, like you know, it's kind of like sticking out and I was like really I was. I was actually gon na. Do it for her to do all the appointment, but then again it like a department took way longer time than we expected. So we were just tired and she was like no it's okay, I'm good and then the next stage she wanted to, like you know, curl the ends now and I was so happy to do the ends because again it makes the hair look like it looks pretty It looks way better, so yeah. I was happy to clear the end. That was why we have the curly ends in the beginning of this video, so yeah, you can actually dip your ends, but I would say instead of dipping your ends honestly, just just curl your energy flexi, around literally like you, don't have to like just curl the Energy flex, your eye you're, not going to regret it. It'S gon na look way better. It'S going to look very prettier than a bit way, better way, better way, better yeah, yeah and also I use like a hair, mousse and hairspray, and I would say if you don't want to dip everything in hot water use like the hair steam thing, the steam Just helps loose make the braids like look, look a little, I mean feels like softer and you know more flexible, so you don't really have to like deep, like or massage like the bridge or the hot top, because there's no point of doing that. The hair is already lightweight: it's not gon na. It'S not going to be stiff, it's not stiff because it's already lightweight like it's flexible, it's lightweight, it's just everything! So yeah!
