Bye, Bye, Baby, remember you're, my baby when they give you the eyes, although I know that you care won't. You write and declare that, though, on the loose, you are still on the square I'll be gloomy, but send that rainbow to me, then my shadows will fly

k3nnny b0y: You truly are a gem and it’s channels like yours that are putting life back into the beauty community on the internet.

Jamila Baker: This is one of the most fun pages on the internet that I didn't know I needed

GabCa: I’m a caregiver and a client would always talk about how she liked to do her hair the page boy way. Now I see it for what it was .

Girl du Jour: My Mama wore her hair like this back around 1943-44 in Baton Rouge, LA. She used (clean) men's crew socks as rag curlers, rolled under, and flat beer for the setting lotion. She has fine, thin hair and says it worked like a charm! ;) LOVE your channel, btw! :)))

Des T: My Grandmother had this hairstyle from the time she was young till the time she passed in her late 80s. She used to style it wet with curlers exactly like that. Soo elegant. ❤

Shelley Thompson-Brock: I don't know how you ended up in my recommendeds, but I've enjoyed each one I've seen. You definitely bring back warm feelings of nostalgia of a time when ladies looked and acted like ladies.

Karaleighs Music: I love that you’re keeping older styles alive!!

Im Gold Leader: I'm a hillbilly from Indiana, and I can't get enough of your vintage looks. You're fabulous!!!

Eli O: My daily dose of vintage godess herself. ❤️

Lori Burnip: God I'd love to go to her place and hang out and do my hair in old-fashioned ways with an old-fashioned hair dryer and then have her teach me how to do my makeup as if I lived in the 40s or 50s. I'm not usually a makeup girl, I just slap it on as fast as I can before work and run out the door, but I think I could really enjoy makeup when it's set in a historical context like that!

•Mixed Artist•: She seems like she would definitely give older people some nostalgia at stores

Gemma: It's the contrast between the tattoos and the vintage look for me. Gorgeous!

B: I always wondered how they kept it smooth in the back! Based on the period, I assumed they used pincurls only! You’re a wealth of knowledge,Erin!

Michelle P: Ugh, I love this channel so much! It combines so much of the things I love; history, vintage makeup, and tutorials. Thank you for your content.

angelina wilson: You are a bombshell!!!! Thanks for bringing this style back <3

Cyn Bea: I like these vintage beauty tutorials. My mom had curlers like that. My sister and I wanted to set our hair so My mom put 2 curlers each in our hair. Then we'd sit down with the hair dryer with the shower cap like with the hose. There was only two settings of high and low. That hair dryer lasted a long time. Those curlers were built to last.

Love Bubble: I feel like you take us back in time.

JannyT: I absolutely LOVE this channel. Erin, you have such a talent

donna515: I love that you actually use the vintage products. And always with fabulous results. Such fun.

Monica Clasener: The hat is so much fun! There's always spend so much thought in every detail of each look, really impressing.

Emily JL☆ PetrifyingThePatriarchy: The contrast of your modern beauty examples (your ink) and these classic makeup examples are not lost on me. I love it!!

Peaches L: You know I absolutely love your channel. As a little girl, I grew up with my grandma and I always saw her era and style as pure glamour. But I never knew how people did this on a daily basis or even for events. Your art in makeup and fashion and making these videos about how the looks came together is like inside basketball to me. Thank you so much for sharing your talents here

An De: You look fantastic! I so want to have an old fashioned dryer like this.

Cheeri Rinaldo: My mom had some of those! I haven't seen them for over fifty years. I was born raised in the house that my mother was born and raised in, which was in the family for 75 years, so all those things were still in the house when I was growing up. Even better, I got to wear my mom's vintage clothes in perfect condition kept in built-in cedar closets that were from the 1930s and 1940s.

Michelle W: i would love to see a video of you talking about vintage makeup and hair while seeing you do the whole process

Headache Chronicles: Rosemary Clooney's pageboy in White Christmas is one of my favorites. It's so perfect. If my hair could handle brush outs, I would get it cut like that. But my hair is too fine and breaks easily.

Sarah Tipton: This was my Greatnana's fave hairstyle! I remember rolling her hair just like this when I was younger. She loved when I would make her up!!

Carolyn Talbot: I've never seen anyone having more fun being beautiful

Tina smith: Gorgeous . I always wondered how that the movie stars did their hair. I love you page!!! Thank you for sharing this with the world

swesttttt: I love that you’ve got the vintage dryer chair! I remember my mom in the late 60’s/early 70’s using a hairdryer that had a hose attached to a shower cap type hood, so you could set your curls. I was fascinated by everything that was in her vanity or around her bath counter. The cake mascara, the perfume bottles with the pinch atomizers, the heavy silver brushes and mirror. Even though she lives with me now, and is pretty frail, I still think about that stuff. I’ve no idea where most of it went, and it’s sad. I miss solid, luxe tools like that brush, comb and mirror set!
