Today's video is a recreation of my Wedding Bridal Hair! I am so happy and excited to share this with you from my own wedding day.
I had a professional hair dresser do my hair on my own wedding day and I totally winged this Bridal Hair Tutorial without even trying it before!
I'm so happy that I was able to recreate it although I feel like it may have needed a lot more hair spray to stay in place if you were going to try something like this yourself.

Hey guys today, I have my wedding hair tutorial for you. It is a little bit different than what it was on my wedding day, because I was platinum back then, but I have done my very best to recreate this princess hair like tutorial, I'm starting off by parting, my hair to the side, as I usually wear, a Middle part and I'm going to use some hairspray to try and keep it down. Then I'm spraying some heat protectant as I'm going to be putting heat on my hair with a GHD, I'm going to section my hair off into half and I'm going to curl the bottom of my hair first. So I'm coming up with the GHD and taking just sections of my hair, they're relatively thick, but not too thick and I'm killing the hair away from my face. Next up, I'm taking this batiste dry shampoo and it's actually the Volume one. So it gives your hair volume, so I'm spraying that in the roots, are all around my scalp, mainly around the crown and then using a comb it to brush it through. So now, I'm using some hairspray on the curls to get them all set. Now I'm going to cut my hair extensions. This might look a little bit strange, but I like to place them in a cupboard door because it keeps them in place while I kill them spray through some heat, protectant and brush it through and then I'm just going to curl them also keep in mind to Curl away from the face so picture the hair extensions in your hair and what side they're going to be on and then curl accordingly. So I just take sections and then kill them. I do curl quite a lot of hair extensions, but I'm not going to show you them all, because you kind of get the picture of it. This one that I'm killing now was just a back middle piece, but I'm going to kill a a smaller side piece. Next, I'm now going to section off my hair and start clipping in my hair extensions to make the hair extensions clip in more securely. I like to spray the root of my hair and then tease it before I clip each of the section in just feel like it holds it a lot better and they don't slip throughout the day or night. Sometimes, on the side, it's going to get a bit tricky and you'll see me work with it just kind of clip them in everywhere, and then you can take out what doesn't work or fix what doesn't work a bit later and here is old. My extension view there was so much hair. It was ridiculous, so now I'm going to brush out all the curls before I get on to the next step. So this part of kind of this, the top part of me filming it, but I'm just essentially going to tease the crown of my hair and I'm going to tease it everywhere. I can just take little sections little layers of hair and tease it a lot at the crown. So this hairstyle it needs a lot of volume at the top and when you're done at the back, just sort, it'll well and then start on the sides as well. So once it's all teased you'll want to comb it back now think of it as in like three sections. So this is one section here that I'm going to kind of group together and then the two sections either side of it, I'm going to group them together. As well so like three sections into one you'll see what I mean by the end of it now it'll take a little bit of fiddling around, especially with the sides and the hair extensions you learn. Do I have this problem? You might have a lovely, thick luscious, hair yourself, but I had to use hair extensions, which I was completely fine with. I love using hair extensions, it's just about hiding them in your natural hair. Obviously these ones aren't died, my ombre hair, so it was a little bit harder to hide them. But if you have hair extensions that actually match your hair, then that would be great just fiddle around take ones out that you don't need and tease it more where you need to ended up having to curl a few extra bits as well. You want it pretty much nice and smooth on the top, but still looking a little bit messy and rustic in the curls. So now I'm just getting this side ready to take back into one of the side. Sections you'll see me trying to hide that hair extension. There and then leaving a little bit at the front and then I will just get it ready and then I'll pin it up the back, because I was doing it myself. It was a little bit hard to check like in the mirrors and everything. Obviously, if you have someone do it for you, it's a lot easier, but just keep checking in the mirror and then fix up some bits that you need to cover the extensions or make it a little bit neater and then to cover all the clips at the Back, I'm going to take my little hairpiece. I had this made for me, but you can find them at a lot of bridal stores and I'm just going to pin it in there and see how it hides all of the clips. So that is it all finished. This is how my hair turned out. This is our work for the reception with the veil out, and I am just so in love with it and that's what it looks like with the veil. I have bleach blonde hair and my GHD won't run through it smoothly when I try to curl it! My GHD is about 5 or 6 years old though, it still works beautifully, but I just can't curl with it. I've tried cleaning the ceramic plates, using different heat protectants and treatments in my hair as well and I still can't perfect it!
