Hi everyone, I'm hair, stylist, Amanda, Shackleton and today, I'm here to show you how to attach a comb onto your veil, most girls when they're getting married by their veils with the combs already attached. But sometimes people like to make their own and it's actually very very easy. You just start out with a big piece of tulle like this and then in kind of a violin kind of motion. You folding motion. You just make little pleats with the fabric until it comes to the end once it's like that and you're finished just push all those ends together and then grab your comb. I would definitely recommend a wire comb as opposed to a plastic comb, because the the wire is thinner and it gets into the hair and Styx's too they're easier when you go to put it in all you need, is this and a little bit of glue and I'M going to go ahead and just put a little bit of glue on the end of the comb and then take the fabric, spread it out a little bit and just hold it down. What I like to do is maybe take a pin like this and put it on the ends like that and just leave it for an hour. So we can go ahead and it can set so it'll. Look something like this and then when you're finished you can take off the pins and it goes right in the back of the hair. You'Ve got your veil, I'm Amanda Shackleton from NY, bridal beauty and I've just shown you how to make a veil

Neomi Lopez: Lmao, the model was like “I know damn well this girl is not gonna super glue this thing to my hair... oh no hunny” *looks at camera* This has me dead!

CeceliaRobin Reeves: Nope. And I think she meant "accordion" instead of "violin" when she was showing how to fold. If I were making it, I would machine-baste across the top to get it evenly gathered and make sure the tulle was either doubled over or at least folded across the top for a neat top edge before attaching it to the comb.

hilcat: Actually, you want the illusion to pouf up and over the top of the comb, to the right side. That way you do not see the comb, and you have a more lively look at your hair. I did not like the way she smooshed it all together, and using glue means less control of both evenness and even gathering, but she was not wrong about where she glued it. I prefer to sew it on, and add ribbon over the messy ends.

Brooke W: This is hilarious. The model's face kills me XD "are you seeing this right now?"

Sarah Bergan: Are you joking? The look on that models face! She doesn’t even glue it on the correct side! The “U” shape does against the head. And super glue?? Really? What a piece of work that woman is!

McMorty11: Really, she attached the tulle on the wrong side of the comb. You can see her flip it when she puts it in the models hair.

amy wellman: Gonna need at least 20-30 stitches to hold mine together.

Me You: how about after showing the gathering of it and gluing, having one prepared, one that was already dried for an hour.  Turn the model around and showing it being 'installed'??

Cheryl Carlos: Love the model's questionable look to the camera right after the hair stylist not wedding stylist glues the veil to the comb. Haha sorry, I don't mean to be mean but some spend hundreds of dollars on veils and would faint if someone were to tell them to cheaply glue it to the comb. So humorous..

Errikka Black: The model's face was hilarious!

Tjinster: Poor model. Almost got hit by this weird veil lady.

Jessica Kegley: And that is how you make the crappiest veil ever.

Angela C: lol this is so bad...at the end she is still having to hold it on the model's head because otherwise all the tulle would fall off. 'fold it and glue' - nice!

Nancy McKinney: Yes, the poor model looks mortified!

velma ferguson: Wow!!! This has to be a joke!... This is the worst video I've ever seen... This should be titled How NOT to make a veil!

Elaine Cook: Thats not how you fix a veil to a comb, and the model knows it hahahaha

brandi berkheimer: 1st of all you didn't even attach the tulle on the correct side of the veil.....2nd that is not in anyway shape or form how you create a veil!

Gloria Perez: GLUE???? I think the model knows how to do it the right way!!!!!!!!!

Queen Pea: Really lazy and untidy. I will not be attaching a Comb like that.. No WAY

AJ Valenzuela: Shamelessly came here from r/weddingshaming. Was not disappointed, this is atrocious.

Hankescu: Omg that looks like crap! Terrible instructions, that glue is certainly not going to hold the fabric. And the model looks thrilled to almost get hit in the face and glue stuck in her hair!

Brittany's Bets: What a rude demonstrator.

Elizabeth Capuzzo Peixoto: OMG

Emelia Appiedu: Very good work

Ms Alexandra Desjarlais: Ew cheap and unhelpful

Lourdes Peralta Caligrafía: IT IS A JOKE!!

Spirit Walker: Tacky and horrid

Jennifer Thai: Wtf is this

Own Designs: This isnt for real is it??? this is horrible!!!
