Real Simple Bridal Hair Tutorial Video: Swept To The Side With A Twist

Hi, I'm Kate from the small things blog. This tutorial will show you how to do a really soft and pretty Bridal style, whether you're the bride or bridesmaid. Your hair will be swept to the side and it'll be secured, but it's not going to be anything. That'S too stiff or tight, so great for naturally wavy hair or, if you want to do it either and set your hair and hot rollers or curl the section with a one and a quarter inch barrel, curling iron and then clip it with the duct book clip. So then, all your curls will cool and set in place. This is sort of like using hot rollers it'll, give relatively the same effect. So whatever you'd like to do is fine, so go ahead and take your clips out once your hair is totally cool either. The message that I did with the curling iron or, if you did hot rollers once those have cooled to the touch you can take the clips out from those run, your fingers through everything to soften and out. But you should have really big bouncy curls. So once you've smoothed through everything, you can determine where you want your part to be I'm going to move mine a little bit to the left, but you can pick whatever side. You'D like for yours will lean duty is to create a good foundation for this style, but not too much teasing, so basically, just fluffing we're gon na start at the very top of our head. So, instead of starting back here at the crown, let's start on top and then work our way down in a mohawk section, we'll do the same thing on the side, smooth out your teasing a little bit either with your fingers or with a comb. The first step is going to be twisting the hair on the side that you parted on. So for me, that's my left, we're going to be twisting it and then pinning it on little right side of your hairline. So, wherever the edge of your hairline is we're going to pain right there, but if you're going from this direction, just pin on that side start right up up your ear and ever so softly just begin twisting your hair. Once you get to the first corner, let's slip a pin in so we will hold and then we'll continue finish your twist, then we put one final pin in where that finger is holding now we're going to move to our right side, but instead of twisting all Of the hair, we're just going to grab like a two to three inch wide section from about our temple to the bottom of our ear, so you've got a fairly big section. Then we're going to loosely twist and then wrap that around all of the hair. That'S left out, tuck it under and we're going to pin at the same place that we pin this left twist so right at that bottom corner of the hairline go ahead and put in as many pins as you need, because it's on the bottom. So it doesn't matter so once you've pinned that section underneath and you feel like it's really secure, you can kind of fine tune the front. If you want a little bit more volume, you can lift and spray the roots and recommend spraying in the front sections on both sides, so those don't come loose and then spraying a decent amount of hairspray on the back here. So none of that loosens up either. Alright, so you saw how quick and easy that is, and it looks very elegant and soft, but everything is secure and imput hope you enjoyed this tutorial thanks for watching
