Voluminous Half Up Half Down Hairstyle! | Theblondebeautyy

Hey everyone for today's video, I'm just going to do a really quick, half-up, half-down volumous hairstyle. I posted the picture late last year. Maybe I'll put that right here. This hairstyle and a lot of you asked how I got that much volume, and really it is super simple there. Actually is it much to a to it at all, so I am just I decided I'll just to make a quick video on it, and also this is a lot easier to do on second day or third day dirty hair, because I have really silky hair and If I was to do this after I just washed my hair really wouldn't stay, it would probably just fall right down. So I do recommend you doing this when your hair is a little bit more dirty because it holds herself a lot better and it has so much more texture. So that is one of the reasons why I can get my hair. That volume is all right. I like to leave the pieces when I do this hairstyle around my face out just to kind of frame it a little bit, so I'm going to leave those down and start grabbing the crown of my head, bringing that hair upwards and just sectioning it off with Leaving these ones down alright and now just going to hold this hair up and taking some dry shampoo, give it a little bit of a spray, adds a little bit more texture and then we're going to go behind it with the back or the teasing comb. And just do a little back combing! Now, I'm just going to kind of direct my hair backwards so that there isn't really a part back here. Alright and now leaving these pieces out still I'm just going to grab the hair next to it and start bringing it towards the back of my head. All right make sure you, like the pieces that are out you can put or you could take more back or you can pull more out whatever you like, and now I'm going to do the same to this side, grabbing pieces and sort of grabbing it and pulling It backwards now the trick, is you really don't want to grab too much hair? I'M honestly just grabbing like the very top layer. I'Ll just show you the back, like I just grabbed a very thin layer of the top enough to still you know, give it that volume, but don't overly grab a huge chunk of hair you're just grabbing the top layer. Alright, so I like the hair that is out okay, the trick is so once you have the pieces of hair pulled back. You want to have it about directly at the back of your head, like right in the center of the back of your head. So right here and now, you're just going to kind of pull it upwards and see the instant volume that has so have it at the middle of the back of your head and then just kind of pinch it and push it up now make sure none of Your hair extension clips, if you're wearing some, are showing just kind of feel around mine. Oh my field covers alright, so you're going to take your first bobby, pin all right and just do it X, upwards, diagonally just going to do the exact same on the side. So now it's definitely secure, but I want a little bit of more volume, so we're just going to give it the extra oomph that that we like alright. So, using your one hand hold the two bobby pins that you just secured down and now start gently just pulling out your hair. I like to pull this down a little bit and then then it comes up so I'm pulling these pieces down and then this out a little bit now just do this very gently. I kind of just run my fingers through and almost pull it out that way as well. Like I said, it's just so much easier to do this when your hair is not freshly washed. It looks like it takes a lot of work to get your hair that much volume, but it's super simple. It only takes me a couple minutes, so that's why I want to do a quick video on it now just keep pulling it out as much as you want really all right now, I'm just going to pull a little bit out here, shape my face kind of Play with it a little bit starting to feel really nice and puffy okay. So now I'm going to take the next bobby pin and I'm just going to put it straight through the other two that I just clipped in there I'm going to do the same with the other one, all right. So now we're basically done. I am happy with how it looks it feels super secure if you need more bobby pins, because your hair sticker by all means go and clip some more in Italy. I only need about four and it's not going to go anywhere now just kind of play with your hair. I really like the way this hairstyle looks with kind of the loose messy curls. I think this is awesome for during the day, and then you can also you know rock this look at night as well. So now, when you like it use some hairspray make sure you secure this puff.
