It's easy to create a lovely half-up, half-down hairstyle to wear at any upcoming special occasion, particularly a wedding. Check out our step-by-step video to see how we did it, using a floral hair accessory from Colette Malouf Bridal Collection.

It'S officially wedding season and whether you're the one actually saying I do or you're attending a special event. It'S easy to get a half-up half-down hairstyle without actually going to the salon. I'M going to show you how every good updos starts with setting your hair, either with hot rollers, velcro, rollers or pin curls. I prefer pin curls, because all you need is some hair clips and a curling iron to get them just take small sections of your hair, starting at the top of your head and wrap them around a large barrel, curling iron. Just to add some extra volume to lift, if you want some extra staying power, just spray, the section with hairspray before you use the curling iron and then roll it, then, when you release the curl, hold it up with your fingers and pin it into place. Ok continue doing this throughout your entire head. Then let it cool completely. So once you finish setting your hair, you should end up with something really beautiful like this and to make it stay a little longer. You can just spray it with some hairspray. Once you remove the pin curl, you should end up with bouncy waves like this, but don't brush them out. Just use your fingers to kind of comb them out a little. If you want to add more volume to the crown of your head, all you have to do is that come in take small sections, starting at the top of your head and with a fine-tooth comb. Stick it into the root area and then just push down a few times once you finish, backcombing, then smooth down the top layer then take the top portion of your hair and just clip it out of the way. Now take the front sections of both sides of your head and pull them around to the bat and pin them in place there now just take the top clip out and pin the rest of this hair. Once you finish pinning it up, then you can just spray. It with some hairspray and then smooth it out it's an easy, elegant hairstyle that you can dress up with a pretty accessory thanks for watching bella sugar TV see you next time.
