Hey there, everyone today, I want to show you this really cute hairstyle. This would be great for prom or any sort of formal event and, as you can see, it's sort of a side-swept long look and this works really well with thick hair. But I'm sure you could make it work within here as well as long as when you're curling the sections you curl, very small sections, to give more volume. My inspiration for this look was from a picture I found on Pinterest, so I will link the photo below it doesn't look exactly the same as the picture, but it was sort of my best effort to recreate it. The tool that I used to recreate this look was the new me titan-3, and this is my new curling one. I'M really excited about it. It has three different attachments, so it's just one curling iron, but you can get three different sizes of curls from it so that totally eliminates the need to get more than one curling are in the three sizes that comes at the titan-3 are a 19 millimeter barrel, Which I use today, the 25 millimeter barrel, which is on it right now, and the size that I didn't use today is the 32 millimeter barrel and the packaging that it came in is so nice. I think I'm going to keep it so I can store the iron in here, but look how nice? That is! It'S nice, big box and the inside isn't that exciting! There'S the other one that I haven't used inside the titan-3 box. There was also a protective glove and you can wear it on either hand. It doesn't really matter. I find it more useful to put it on my non-dominant hand, because that's the one that I use to hold the curls with and the one that I am more at risk of burning. I believe I've covered everything. So, let's move on to the tutorial first, I sectioned off the top half of my hair and I'm curling the entire bottom half of my hair with a 19 millimeter barrel, I'm using one to one and a half inch sections and I'm trying to curl close to The roof, however, this is not as important with the bottom section. I try to alternate curling in different direction so that the curls don't clump together. This makes the hair look fuller. Additionally, using smaller sections will also make it look like there's more volume to your hair. As you probably noticed after each curl, I clip it up with a pin while it cools down. This will help the curls last for a longer time. Once I finish the bottom section I switched to the 25 millimeter barrel and let that heat up then I started curling the top section with the top section. I teased each piece before curling it, like I mentioned before. This is where it's important to curl close to the roof. Here I also alternated the curling direction of each piece, but what the pieces that framed my face, I curled them all outwards away from my face. As you can see, I didn't curl my bangs. I will show you what I did with them later, as the curls from the top section we're setting, I started working with the bottom pieces and just started: securing them to the side with bobby pins the pieces closest to the back of my head. I pinned lower down and, as I grab pieces from closer to the front of my head, I pinned them higher up to create a bit of a cascading effect. I pin some of these front sections back a bit to make the side swept hair. Look fuller as well as contribute to that cascading effect, I'm going for what the short layers of my hair. I really just manipulated the curls to try to hide some of the other bobby pins and give a little bit more texture to the hair. Another important tip about texture is to not pull the sections to the back too tight. If you pull them back loosely, then your hair will look fuller. This is also what makes the style so soft and keeps your hair looking bouncy. Additionally, if you pull the sections back too tightly that this will completely defeat the purpose of the teasing that we did earlier to keep the hair looking voluminous here, I'm just doing some minor adjustments and pingbacks few more sections, and now for the bangs. I used a glove for this parts that I went for my fingers, but I took my 25 millimeter barrel and just sort of ran it down my hair to give it a little flip, and then I pinned back my bangs. Now, I'm just securing a few more bobby pins in to make sure that the hair stays steady and don't forget to hairspray. This part is completely optional. Just adding flour to show you what it looks like with an accessory and that's the final look. Thank you.
