I know you to drink it, hello, my beautiful friends. It'S me me here today and today I'm going to show you how to create this really pretty feminine hairstyle. I call it the half a blue braid. I'Ve done something similar years ago, but I did it without the extensions. So today I'm going to show you how I do it when I have my Lexi's on and just this color so much right now I have on ombre dirty blonde set. So it's the Umbra set that starts with a dark brown and ends with dirty blonde color, and I just love the dirty blonde color. So much I'm actually thinking of getting highlights in my hair when I go back to Toronto, because that's where my hair style is this, let me know what you guys think leave me a comment down below. Should I do it? Should I not do it? I think I'm definitely gon na do it. I don't know I'm a bit torn because obviously every time you get highlights in your hair, it does even though the hairstyles I go to, she doesn't really use bleach to color the hair. I feel like it still drives. My hair, especially because my hair is naturally more dry, but for now I just use locks ease to give me that effect. Alright. So when I do this hair sound, what I do differently is, I actually don't wear my full set. So any website go on the side, which is the chocolate wet that goes here and the one clip was that go around my ears. I just give them so the same thing here and the reason I have still so much hair is because I'm actually wearing the 220 grams set of Alexis, so I'm just wearing the ones that go in the back of my head. Alright, so I already brushed my hair before I started filming, so I'm not going to brush my hair anymore. I'M just gon na go ahead and actually start with teasing the crown. So I'm gon na take this teasing brush and just brush this back first and I'm just going to lift this area just at the crown area of my head and I'm just going to take the teasing brush and I'm going to insert it in this area. And just brush it up and down, so you should feel some sort of a friction as you do it. That'S how you know you're doing right and then, with the same brush, I'm going to go into the t's and I'm going to softly brush over it. And this is just going to give me a little bit of the lift here and a bit of a volume which makes the hairstyle look a bit nicer all right. So next I'm going to start on the left side. Here you have an option. You can either grab the whole front section of your hair and braid it back or if you like, to have your bangs out on the face like I do. You can just let that part sort of hang in the face and then start here in the back. So that's what I'm gon na do so I'm going to take a medium section like that, and first lay it back, because it's very important that when you braid it you don't braid it down. You braid it back, that's something to keep in mind and then I'm just gon na start first to do a three strand braid. So I start with a three strand. However, I'm going to start adding sections from the top, so I'm going to start French braiding. Basically so adding section here into the left strand braid, that in to the French braid. So I'm not doing that to the section that's closer to my face. I'M only doing it to the section, that's away from my face and then the same thing again and make sure that you're pulling the braid back as you're doing that and not down just a teeny. Tiny section is good and then braid that in and then continue with a regular braid on the side, that's closer to the face, and then I'm just going to continue to do the rest of the braid as a regular braid and then continue the rest of the Braid down as a regular braid and again as I'm grading it I'm making sure to braid it back as opposed to down. And here I'm not going to go all the way down. I'Ll, probably just going to go to the middle of the braid like that and I'm gon na stop here before I secure the braids I'm going to do one more step, and this is the step that makes this hairstyle look super cool, I'm going to go into The section that's closer to my face and I'm gon na grab on that section. You know what else down with the middle. Just to show you what I mean and I'm gon na, create this massive loop and you can start with a smaller little. But then you can go back and make it bigger. I usually start quite small and then I go back and fix the section. So, as you can see, you can make it big or small. I think the bigger there's the prettier looks and it looks less than a braid, so you can see how pretty it looks now, if you have any layers in your hair, I would be super careful when you're pulling out the sexual to make sure that you're not Pulling any layers so again, I'm gon na go back and repulse um of the front sections alright, so I'm going to turn around and show you what it looks like in the back when I lay this down. So this is what it's going to look like and then I'm going to grab a couple of bobby pins and pin that section in the back. So I insert one from the top down and then one from the down up alright and now I'm going to do the same thing on my right side. Again, I'm going to leave some here in the front in the face grab a section. That'S next to it, and then I'm going to lay it down just to see what it would look like. Okay and if I'm happy with it. If I need to add more, I'm gon na add a bit more and then I'm going to start braiding and the same technique will go here. I'M going to start with a regular three strand braid and then I'm going to add small sections to the outer layer of that braid braid that into the braid, pull it back as I'm doing it and then add more sections to the outer layer of the braid. I'M gon na go into this braid and do the same thing. So I'm going to go into the section, that's closer to my face and pull on it like that and create a nice big loop, and then I'm going to continue doing that on all of them. Going down into the braid and then I'm going to grab this section, take it to the back and pin it in the back and I'm going to take a bobby, pin and just slide it under. If you feel like you need a few more bobby pins, here's your chance to add more, I feel like mine, is quite stable, so I'm just going to leave it as is, and this is the finished hairstyle keep it, and that is it for today.
