Hi everyone, it's beth from sweethearts hair and welcome to my first video of 2021, and i share the stage with my beautiful louisa hurt and i'm gon na show you a video today we're gon na ease into the year nice and relaxed and chilled so the style. I'Ve chosen one i saw on instagram, i will put in the description who and it's like a sort of bit of a wedding style, but i mean you could do it for any occasion really. I think it was a really easy, simple concept really quick to do so. I hope you like it and let's get started, let's go louisa, okay, guys! So, louise ahead, i have curled her hair with straightness and just a nice sort of relaxed curl. Can you see how i've almost sort of brought that hair kind of forward a little bit and we're going to be leaving a good chunk of hair out to start with? But what i don't want you to do guys is when you do this, leaving the hair out at the front, don't get you comb and just go like that? Okay, you don't want that sort of straight line. You almost want to take sort of like zigzaggy chunks from the hair like that and then we'll deal with this hair later, do the same on the other side for me and then, if you've got some clips guys or some bubbles, whatever's easiest just sort of tie. These out the way nice and loosely, because i don't want to indent the hair there now the concept of this style is it's a beautiful sort of folded bun. So i'm going to do it not too high, but just sort of coming down where the crown area is here. You could do it lower if you wanted to but you're going to do four ponytails right, but before you do that, oh something just fell. I want you to spray like a, i, don't know a dry, shampoo or a spray clay, or anything. That'S just going to give you that little bit of grip don't use a hairspray, but just something a bit chalky to the hair and i'm using the sexy hair brand, and it's just going to give a nice kind of like texture to this style. So it's going to be four ponytails, one, two three and four okay, but again we're really going to try hard not to get those clean lines, because we don't want to see these parts. We don't want to know that it's ponytails that we've done so i'm just going to sort of take my finger or a camera, do if i just tilt louisa forward a little bit. In fact, i will actually use a comb to this, so i'm just going to kind of like zigzag, this hair again just to make sure that again we're not going to get that perfect part line and then again i'm just going to zigzag up and we're trying To aim for a quarter of the hair in each ponytail, don't worry if it's not absolutely exact, but just give it a go. Okay, now again, unless you're going for a really really sleek style, i don't want you to get a brush and like smooth this out and make it all tight. We'Re almost sort of like want the hair to just be kind of like. Oh, it just happens to go like this, like it's she's just got amazing hair. That just can you see that, like that, so i'm just kind of using a wide sort of cone there, but you can definitely use your fingers. I just don't want it to all. Look too perfect when i put this bobble in so i call it a bubble, don't panic! It'S just a hair tie! It'S just what brits call hair ties so you're, literally just going to place this hair into a bobble. Don'T worry, it hasn't got to be completely neat and because we've kind of dragged that hair off it's already looking a little bit chilled a little bit big, a bit more soft and you can go in after guys and do a bit more teasing out once you've Got those other bubbles in so we're going to do the same on the other side, so you've just kind of created this very relaxed front to the style, guys i'm just using a bit of hairspray just to pick pieces off, i'm just going to hold these out The way for a minute just pin them to this side and we're going to work on the bottom section of the hair. Now again, i thought because it's that kind of like swept up bun style. I was wondering whether it might just be worth just pulling some little bits out around that neck hair line just have a little play around with what you think looks nice. I might just do a few just center and then i'll probably just get my really professional scissors out to cut the hair by professional scissors. I mean the ones that i've got from my kitchen this morning, because i'm not a hairdresser. I can use my beard scissors. What you've got to remember guys is any bits that are like way too much at the end. How easy is it just to pick them off and pin them? So don't panic about overdoing it dead, easy to pick these bits up, i'm going to put too much down and then decide afterwards what we want to leave out so again you're going to divide this into two, but i'm going to try not to just go bump Straight up the middle again, i'm going to try and do that zigzaggy thing then just releasing that hair. You can do more teasing out. At the end, i've decided guys that these nails are way too long. For me, i can't cope. Who else can work with long nails like massive respect to you, but i just just getting them away, definitely need to get them a bit shorter. I think so there we go guys. We'Ve got our four ponytails in now. What you're gon na do is you're gon na take a doughnut okay, so any doughnuts, obviously the bigger the doughnut, the bigger the buns gon na, be but be aware. If you haven't got that much hair, the bigger the doughnut you're, not gon na - be able to cover it. So louise has got a fair, fair length, so i've sort of gone medium. If you've got really long hair, you could go bigger or shorter hair go smaller and you're just going to place it in the middle of those four ponytails using a long, hairpin or hair grip and just attach that into the center, and i can just see guys A little bit of a split line there, so it's nothing too drastic, i'm just going to pinch. Those together get a hairpin catch one side, catch the other, push up the center and then tease back out and you've totally disguised. That split line again for yourself now, as these sort of i mean louisa, is really good quality to be fair, but they still do go a little bit dry, so i'm just going to use a little bit of wax spray just on these ponytails. Just before i start and just give them a really gentle, i don't want to go too far. I don't want it to be super smoothed out, but just to tame a little bit of that frizz and then the girl who i saw do this on instagram. I was like that's such a nifty idea for a wedding style. I just wanted to show you how simple it is so shout out to her. I will be putting it in the description, so you're going to take opposite ponytails. Just being aware, you don't want to create frizz with your fingers and you're going to do an overhand knot which is basically like a shoelace, so just try not to catch the hair with your fingers, like i'm doing with these ridiculous nails. So not like that, tie it and then these little ends fall either side like that and then just to secure that knot. There i'm just going to push a grip through that center and then i'm just going to take that tail and now obviously we can't have that showing in an updo. That would be horrendous. So i'm just going to take this first tail end and look you can just drape it straight over that hair tie like that and then you'll just pin that into place here voila. So i've just left that tail for now, okay, i'm going to decide what to do with that one. So again, you're going to take hold of your strands opposite ends. Overhand knot you can kind of like have a play with where you want that knot to sit. So i think i'm going to kind of bring it this way a little bit so now you're just going to have a play guide. So this little tail here. I think i'm just going to bring that round here and pin i'm just going to kind of pin this one going up here. Okay, guys, so i think before i start to do these bits, i'm just gon na have a little bit of a tease. Obviously, this is up to you and i am finding it difficult with these nails, but be very careful when you're doing your teasing out, because what you don't want to do is create frizz. So try not to pick at the hair, choose a piece tease and release it. Some people like to sort of use a comb to help them do this, and so yeah just be aware - and it's always a good idea - to have a little look all the way around the style just to make sure that you've got the balance right. Because the angle that you're viewing the style at might look lovely, but then you sort of look at it from a different perspective and it can all look a little bit unbalanced. Okay, release the front hair. Obviously that's way too much hair to leave out. So i'm just going to kind of like decide now guys how much hair i want to leave down. I kind of like quite a bit for this style, but i like leaving extra because just doing that, can you see how, rather than knitting it to the way that the hair is going, which you may as well have just added it into the ponytail? If you sort of make it go in a slightly different direction to what the hair is, it just gives like an extra dimension to the style and adds a little bit more interest to the style, and then i just want you to do exactly the same. On the other side, and then i just feel like these sort of bits down the front are a little bit long. So i'm just kind of like dragging the scissors down all you hairdressers out. There don't go mad, it's only a doll. She won't mind. Will you louisa, i don't mind 220 quid she's more than that babe? Okay, so here's our lovely louisa from the front, i'm gon na do a little spin, so side profile. I like this sweeping you don't have to have as many bits down. If you don't want. It'S completely up to you, i've kind of gone with quite a bohoe style and then she's back to the front. But it's basically four ponytails tie the knots, pin it all together and voila.

Jay Swift: To say your not an hairdresser you couldnt tell, this looks stunning .

1agway: Gorgeous, As a retired Cosmetologist let me say you did a great job explaining how to do it , better than some instructors I have worked with. You did a great job on the hair. Best of luck.

Shannon Jessica Cochran: My gosh LOVE this look. I went to at least 6 hair trials for my wedding. I actually hated all of them. I just got sick of going to them so I picked the one I hated the least. I had very long hair all so basically canvas they could do anything w cut whatever they needed to n yet none could pull off a decent updo. So wish I saw this video before my wedding cause I would have just said here just follow exactly what she's doing. You make it look so easy I may have been able to do it myself. I would have been over the moon if my hair looked like Louisa's at my wedding.

mcrchickenluvr: I actually did this for a friend of mine when she got married a couple of months ago. But she had her hair trimmed and did face framing cuts. So I didn’t have to worry about how much I left out. I also used some hair pins that had little flowers and gem stones in the center.

Maria Miller: I did this today and it turned out beautiful! Thanks for the very easy to follow instructions!

MLC Bean: Gorgeous! Beth you are such a wonderful teacher! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! I have learned so much from you!

Angela K: Why would anyone give this a thumbs down is beyond me. Thank you sweetie, just lovely and impressive. It looks so easy, I can't wait to do it on myself. And if anyone ever asks if I can do an updo I will be like Umm YEAH!!!!!!! Did I say thank you, Thank you for this training and video.

Ceirra S: Yes I would definitely use this look for a wedding look great job love❤

noodles: Ooh, I'm tempted to have this as my wedding hair style

FairyAngel111: I think you nailed the Bardot hairdo without meaning to. Pretty much everyone gets the Bardot hairdo wrong as they make it too precise with very defined sections. The zig zaggy section trick is awesome to create the perfect Bardot hair which is meant to be slightly messy and soft. Great job! You are better at this then most hairdressers on the internet

Andreeva Nata: Wow

Bimmy Kaur: This style is gorgeous! Thank you for the in depth breakdown

Rikki Bergeron: I'm going to try this for my maternity pictures! Thank you so much!

DreamAddic: It's beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial!

Sheryl McIver: I have looked at hundreds of updos on the internet and this one is my favorite out of all of them. The hairstyle is gorgeous and your explanation is clear which makes it very "do"-able. I'm looking forward to watching your other videos. Thanks so much for sharing your talent!

Kimber Ann: My hair is finally long enough to wear this style this is beautiful

Teresa Kiner: You my dear are a brilliant hair artist! I adore all your works! I try the styles on myself, however I feel as if I am too old for the majority of the looks. I have my first long hair, in my 58 years on this planet, but my portly body does not afford me the cute factor that one has with the braided looks, or even then lovely Venus like look in today’s lesson. But, I will keep watching and playing in private. I think I may have finally got the messy bun down...so that is age appropriate for me! Your way of doing it, is faster and easier than the four ladies I watched here in the U.S. lol. I will be trying them all. Blessings upon you and yours! I pray health, wealth and peace for you and your loved ones. Hugs from Kentucky Tere

Clare: I'm a hairdresser, you did that beautifully I enjoyed watching, I will use that technique thank you for sharing PS, not with kitchen scissors though lol

marissa sarace: So gorgeous, I wish I could do something like this it never turns out right.

Fallon: I keep pieces of hair around my face shorter just so I can do hairstyles like this and have romantic looking pieces left out This hair styles is beautiful thank you. I wear clip in extensions and was able to do this successfully you just have to watch as you go to make sure no wefts are showing. Extensions really help create volume though.

MideaMusic: This is just amazing! I am sooo happy that I saw this video! Thank you so much for sharing!
