Hey hello, welcome back to my youtube channel and today i'm going to be showing you how i got this beautiful updo and how exactly i got it step by step. Um right now, i'm just starting out by sectioning off to do a french fishtail up at the front, leaving out the side framing pieces around the face, i'm going to be using this texture powder from sexy hair. I just like to dust that over the braid - and this just gives the hair some grip and allows me to make that fishtail just a little bit bigger and you're going to want to make sure that you're really taking the time to fluff out the braid pull It not too much because you will make it look a little bit frizzier, but take the time to fluff out the braid. It makes a difference. Um now i'm just spraying it off with moroccan oil, medium hold spray, and what i'm going to do here is really um. Well, i'm using kenra um texture uh, the clay spray. I don't know if you guys have ever tried this, but it smells amazing and it just gives the hair a little bit more grit as well as um. To me. It just makes it look or feel just a little bit thicker as well. I like to really go through each curl um, because i want the top part to look a little bit more of that curly texture, rather than smoothing it out. So i'm just taking the time to do that and then i'm going to go ahead and bobby. Pin that down and now i'm just going to connect that fishtail to the back and bobby, pin that in and then what i like to do. Next is just divide: the hair into three sections: um, making the middle um just a little bit bigger and then what i'm going to do is just really uh twist two sections in the back and then i like to go ahead and pull out those loose pieces Because i like this, look to this style to look a little bit more piecey um, loose and elegant um. What i did is put texturizing powder in and then i like to fluff it out. Of course, the texturizing powder gives the hair that grit that you're looking for um to make the hair bigger. So i'm going to twist it around and create a nice looking bun in the back with those loose pieces um and then what i'm going to do is just bobby pin that in and then i'll do the same exact process with the other section and taking the Time to fluff out each individual piece of hair, it does make the world a difference. Your updos are going to just look that much cooler when you actually take the time to fluff the hair and then what i like to do to these side pieces is just twist them and connect them into that back, bun again pulling out and fluffing the hair To create that fullness and textured look and then, with the last section on the sides, i always love to kind of hide the ear a little bit, i'm just making it look looser of an updo and not such um like a tight updo. So i always always leave the sides loose. If i can hey now right here, just going to see me really just play with the hair um pull at it, just give it that texture and um pin some of the loose pieces up, because some of them are a little too long. So i always like to do that two at the very end and then just go throughout the hair and pull and just give the hair some texture, and then i will spray it down as well. Hey hey! Now, with the front, i love to add just like a little bit of texturizing powder at the root um, and then i like to tease it just by doing this technique, it allows the side framing pieces to lay out of the bride's face. So it's not bugging her all night long. I love to do that technique for all brides and now i'm just fluffing up the braid a little bit more and then i'm going to add a bobby pin in there just so it lays a little bit better and then i'm going to spray down the hair. This is how it came out. Thank you guys so much for watching and if you liked this, please give it a thumbs up and please don't forget, to hit the subscribe button for more hair tutorials.
