There is no rule that says that you must braid your hair or wear a weave or wig on your wedding day today, i'll do a very simple bridal updo, with afro twist mali hair from cote a freak collections. I purchased my piece from natural hair, kenya and i'll post a link to their page on the description below so for this hairstyle i use the afro twist marley hair eco styler gel in olive olive oil. That'S my spritz bottle that has water and leave-in conditioner a hair brush an afro comb, a toothbrush, some bobby pins, small scrunchies or snug-free elastic hair buns. I had washed my hair two days ago and moisturized and oiled my scalp then plated the hair so that it could stretch out the hair at the front side of my head is normally longer than the hair at the back, because when i chopped it off, i Maintained a tapered cut for a while, if you're planning to stay with a gel hairstyle for a longer time, it is normally recommended that the style is done on clean hair and on clean oil scalp so that it doesn't flake faster. So i just went in with my spritz bottle to moisturize my hair before styling it then i went in with my oil to seal in the moisture and to give my hair a shine. Then i proceeded to comb it out using my afro comb. Once i felt that my hair was well combed out, i proceeded to apply the ecostyler gel around the perimeter of my head, while slicking it back with my hands just to be able to feel. If i had applied enough gel before i started brushing it up, i went in with a comb towards the ponytail, since i felt that it wasn't smooth all the way up. I needed to tie the hair into a nice, smooth, mini ponytail. I then proceeded to lay down my edges using the toothbrush and some gel. I really did go all out with the edges. You might even miss to notice that i did them. I really struggled to plate that part of my hair, since it's not long enough, but i wanted to just protect the ends. I then went on to tie my hair scarf so that everything stays put and my hair lays down well and also just to hold the gel in place. One hour later, i took out the hair tie after one hour. I realized that my hair was not completely dry. When you do this hairstyle, you can keep the hair tie for a longer time so that the hair dries completely. So this is where i used the afro twist marley hair. You can see that the piece is quite big. If you don't prefer a huge bun, you can divide the hair into two and use one half of the pack. For my hairstyle, i used the whole pack. I used one of the snug free elastic hair buns to secure the hair at the center, so that i could tie the same to my ponytail. I removed the rubber band that came with the hair because i don't like how my hair gets entangled around it and then ends up breaking after attaching the mali hair to my hair. I went ahead and started wrapping it around in smaller parts, just to create a jumbo bun, while securing everything with bobby pins, you'll notice that this is a very simple hairstyle that you can easily do for yourself or have someone do for you so with a right Hair accessory, you will wear a wheel just like any other bride.
