Wednesday Addams Braided Hair Tutorials | 2 Styles With Faux Bangs

Due to Netflix's POPULAR series WEDNESDAY, I am definitely channeling my inner Wednesday… as in WEDNESDAY ADDAMS! I’ve been obsessed with the new Netflix show and binged watched it so quickly that I decided I had to do a tutorial of her iconic hair looks! COMMENT BELOWyour favorite show to binge watch right now!

The style I recreated are her classic tight braids. I added in my Hairitage Styling Gel to keep my hair looking sleek and keep the layers from sticking out of the braids. Using gel or leave in hair masks are one of my FAVORITE hair hacks! Not only does it nourish but it also helps pull together a look and no one can tell! Then I popped in my clip in bangs to finish the look, it’s that easy!
For the braided crown she wore for the dance I started by pulling one braid up and pinning the middle of it just behind the crown of my head since she wore hers further back. Then I took the next one and did the same thing. I tucked the ends in and hid them with a few more pins and some hairspray to keep it in place. ✨HAIR HACK✨ To darken the bangs and my highlights I used a little Hairitage Root Touch Up Spray, this brought the full look together and helped capture the essence of Wednesday!

(, whimsical, music, ), Hey everyone, I'm Mindy from Cute Girls, Hairstyles and guess what we're filming today.. If you guessed Wednesday Addams, you are correct.! So everyone's talking about her. So why not give you guys the tutorial, showing you how to do her dance braids as well as her regular, wear everyday braids. And if you guys haven't already subscribed to the channel? You can do that by clicking right here and let's get to the tutorial.. To start the Wednesday Adam's look, you are going to have to have a few things with you., So I have got some hair gel. I have some root touch-up, which I'm just using as hair color, because mine is obviously highlighted and we need to make it look. Darker, when we're done. Bobby pins, some hair elastics., I found these fake bangs since I don't have bangs on Amazon. My hair's pretty long, but when I do the braids up and over it leaves it a little not as thick as I want. So I am going to add just some extensions that I have on hand.. If you have long enough hair, don't even bother. First thing, I'm gon na do is part my hair down the middle, so we're just gon na take this section for now and get it out of the way. I'm gon na put in the extensions I'm gon na. Do that by just kind of biting my hair right here by my ear and just flipping it out of the way.? This is just a two clip you can see. So it's a small weft of hair and I'm literally just gon na pop it in. And again you can skip all this part. If you don't need it., You can see the difference in the length. Doesn't matter if it doesn't match nothing like that.. So now I'm just gon na repeat on this other side. Everybody loves Wednesday. I thought the show was so cute. Daxton liked it Paisley liked it.. Okay! Next up, you need to decide if you wan na leave any hairs out. It'S up to you.. Mine are kind of long, so if they naturally fall out, I might leave them out, but otherwise, I'm probably just gon na pull them up.. I'M gon na take the gel and run it through.. I read somewhere that they did this exact thing in her hair for real when she was on set because they didn't want, fly, aways and stuff happening from the braids., So great tip a little trick here for ya., Okay and when you are done. Gelling kind of just brush everything you want it nice and smooth.. She wears her braids, pretty tight to her head like this there's, not a lot of looseness to the braids., And I have layered hair. The thing with this gel is: it helps hold all those layers in which is really nice, so that I'm not having, as I Say that a layer, pops. L-O-L., So if that happens, put more gel., Get to the end, secure with elastic and repeat on the other side.. Okay. So to finish, this look off we're gon na add the bangs.. So literally, I just kinda push my hair out of the way, bring this up and clip it in.. Okay, so here's look one which is the braids.. If you want these side pieces to match better'cause, they obviously don't match exactly. This is where I take this root. Touch-Up and just pull it onto the and use it to darken my hair up.. Okay, for look, two we're gon na use the same hairstyle, I'm gon na change the outfit. So we match more of the dress, scene. I'll, be back.; Okay, quick change of outfit. To look more like the dress scene and for mood I'm gon na change, the lighting. Make it a little more blue, like it was in the dance, scene.. Okay. So for this one we're gon na need bobby pins., My bobby pin holder. And pretty much just what you've already done.. So all they did on this part or my best guess obviously is they took her braids and they looped them up. And don't go too close. Don'T do this, don't do too close.. Hers were set back a little bit like this on her head. Over, like this bobby pin. Same thing on this side, take it up and around.. You can do it in front or in back and bobby pin., Obviously got ta tuck these in then. And there you pretty much have Wednesday Addams raven dance scene. Hair.. Can you see it? I don't have her brown eyes, but you get the idea.. I need to look more mad. Here. Is the final look. See it I'll do a little spin, a fake spin ,'cause, I'm not actually in my room with my hair, but there you go. Ta-da.. I hope you guys love it.. It'S actually very easy to do. I think that it's very doable for Halloween next year or for just fun when you want to channel your inner Wednesday Addams..
