I wanted to experience a local haircut in the country of Nepal so I looked up the highest rated barber on Google and found this barber shop. The barber spoke great english and was very welcoming when I walked in without an appointment. He gave me an incredibly well done haircut and beard shave. After that, I asked for the full spa treatment package which included face creams, a massage (shoulders, head, arms, fingers, etc) and then he finished off by cracking my neck. It was an experience!

Good evening, good evening, namaste from another video here in Kathmandu, Nepal and guys, where I'm heading to right now, is I'm in route to find one of the top rated barbers in the area. That'S still open right now, it's about 7:40. At night, most barber shops are already closed by now, but there's a select few that stay open late, so didn't call ahead. No appointment or anything just gon na walk up see if these guys have an opening for me, so I'm over in the Thamel area. You might have seen in some previous videos - namaste uh. We are going to see if we can find them. Oh no, thank you bro. So we're gon na go right down this way and I think it's probably another two minutes up and then to the right. She was such a lively part of Kathmandu, so many places to uh buy some fresh new outfits should be right around here. Yeah nope nope! Not this way and we got ta, go a little further up. It'S a bit confusing on some of these streets. Yeah uh we're gon na go to the end hello brother, there's a little hole in the wall shop right there, literally all right, namaste. All right. We got a bit of a traffic jam, we're gon na make it through and uh. If my GPS is correct, it should be right around here. Cool got ta play a little uh Frogger there to get through all right barber shop. Where are you brother destination, is on the right? Oh there we go Namaste, Namaste good evening, good evening available for one more haircut. Yes, oh just in time, then Timro naam, ke ho [. What is your name ] nice to meet you mero name, hein, Mac, Cande [. My name is: Mac, Cande, ], sorry, Mac, Cande, yeah, that's right! Nice to meet you, sir nice, to meet you too brother. All right brother, we're gon na need a uh, a fresh cut and you do a beard. Shave too, perfect, perfect and I've got a photo. All right somewhere here uh, is it possible to just uh? Do the sides? The top is a good length now, so just uh a skin fade up there and that'll. Do it? Okay, guys, as you can see, we're uh we're overdue for a haircut now and it's gon na take care of us we're gon na do a step. One haircut step. Two beard trim you're from Kathmandu. Yes, it's a very nice city! Thank you. How many years have you had the barbershop they've long been a very long time? It'S going to be 29 years 29 years wow, and you worked here from day one. Yes, yeah wow, that's incredible same location, all 29 years yeah, it looks, looks amazing for 29 years old you're, one of the only shops open at nine or at eight yeah, all right, oh yeah, we're getting the ears plugged the first time. I'Ve ever had this yeah. That'S nice saves the hearing when we have the buzzers going around. How many haircuts do you give per day 35 haircuts per day, wow yeah? One we're gon na put that uh save going to build a nice fade line right there good length, yeah. I need to keep up. I need to get my haircut weekly there. We go we're getting that fade, going right up there, and these are your sons that work at the barber shop with you. Yes, uh of course. Oh very nice little announce my son very smaller uh, very small yeah, 11 years yeah, oh very nice. At what age will he start working here? Something? 20? 20.. That'S a good age, yeah yeah after college finish and after after yeah perfect, that's a good plan. You get a lot of foreign customers, a mix of foreign and local yeah, yeah very nice. It'S the nice length one when you feel it there. It'S got that nice, uh Soft short hair, feel to it foreign. What time do you open in the morning 7 o'clock? Seven o'clock? Oh wow, so that you're open the earliest and you close the latest yeah nine o'clock, normally yeah, but come to plan. So ten eleven, no problem, oh wow, that's amazing are most walk-ins or you do appointments appointments. Yeah got a nice fade right up there. You can't even tell the hair length changes: fantastic uh, no top figured on top I'll leave the same length because last barber I cut it too short. So this time it'll be a good length, foreign very satisfying, to see all that go away. All right, oh yeah, that is feeling very nice. Nothing like a skin fade to keep the head cooled off. Yeah that looks perfect. So there's the haircut guys very nice fade there and I think, probably over the next two weeks. You up the shaving cream on here and then I'll brush it in. Thank you looking like Santa Claus now. Thank you, as you can tell it's a very sharp blade. This is pretty much only one slide over and the hair comes right off like butter, so fresh. So clean nothing like a clean shave and there is the final product from shave: namaste um. Yes, I think that's not found a good haircut. Okay, that's! Okay, that you can do it! Oh yeah full-on face massage yeah yeah, oh wow! What is this thing? That'S incredible! So that, like takes off a layer of dead skin yeah yeah wow get a lot of flags now exactly whoa. What is this thing? This is hard salt yeah, oh yeah, somewhere or United States yeah. Now we're talking with the followers no yeah yeah, exactly yeah you're, right you're on the YouTube channel yeah, but about a million on all my platforms, total. That is a fresh, fresh cut. I was at this hotel in Nagarkot yesterday and then I asked this guy. I was like uh what's your age, because I couldn't tell what his age was, because I didn't know how to call him bhai or dai, and then he was like he's 29. I was like I'm 29. who's, the bhai and who's the dai now and then he gave me a different word. What'S the word for friend, so what's the word for friend friend yeah, he told me to call him Sati wow. You know that was a good head. Massage all my veins are popping out of my head. See there. Yes, whoa, look at that. I feel like a new person after that gets the blood flowing yeah yeah the veins right there they're popping, oh the shoulders there we go going too all right. The full service dhanyavad dai - oh that's, good, on the hand from holding up the camera all day wow. I thought I lost the finger there. You guys have gotten the full treatment before the full, the full massage from here. Actually, no oh yeah you're gon na want to after this you're, not gon na lie. This is [ __ ], oh wow, that got them all. Okay yeah see when I do a haircut you'll need the full treatment. Okay, bhailittle legs, oh I don't know, am I gon na be able to do this? I don't know if I can relax my neck. Oh, my God. Could you hear that holy [ __ ]? I don't think I've ever had my nut. Cracked in my life - oh wow - oh that was incredible. Dhanyavad Dai. That was what very well done. One of the best haircuts I've had in the world full treatment there very fresh too there we go perfect brother, katiho, dai [, how much brother ] 1400! There is a 3000 tip for you dhanyavad, my friend, very good haircut. Thank you. So much so see you again. Yeah you'll see me again for sure. Take care bye, all right guys that was the uh full haircut process there for 1400 was the total, so about 10 us for that entire process. That was like an hour and a half, and that guy took such good care in depth like uh haircut and everything I feel fantastic and yeah. I hope you guys have enjoyed coming with for the haircut. I tried to talk a little less in that one because sometimes in the haircut videos I get comments that I talk too much. So I figured I'd let the process uh speak for itself, a bit more in it, but uh wow. My head is like face feels clean to the full face: scrub. Did the shave two uh two rounds of uh shaving cream, some sort of like salt block on my face, that added to like the uh like a nice burning, cleaning, sensation, aftershave just everything and then yeah that massage to finish it off something else, but yeah guys? Definitely check him out such a good cool guy speaks great English and uh. You know it's really welcoming and does a good job treats every customer like it's uh they've been a customer with him for like 20 years. The barber may think it has a noble purpose but imagine rubbing that on every face with nicks and cuts after the shave and again using that on the next person. If the other guy had something in it's blood, there's a high chance of getting infected if you had a cut on your face mate.
