Yo! Happy New Year! Hope you had a great NYE. I just want to first thank you for a great 2013 year. In this video I will be kicking off the year with a much requested hairstyle tutorial. Many of you have been wanting me to do another tutorial and I thought it'd be great to re-create a look that has been very popular which is the Zayn Malik hairstyle. It's a very versatile hairstyle and I simplified it by just doing it in 3 steps. I did this video a long time... It was my first tutorial. Hey guys, it is me Jer, hope, you're all doing well today, in today's video I am going to be kicking this year off with a hairstyle tutorial, since it is a new year. I thought it would be great to kind of recreate a hairstyle that I did a while back and that's been a really popular hairstyle this entire year, and I still think it's you know it's just kind of a timeless hairstyle and I did this tutorial. This is one of my first. I think this actually was my first tutorial. I did here and it is a Zayn Malik hairstyle tutorial the one direction Zayn from one direction. You guys go check that video out it's kind of embarrassing. Actually, I don't know if you should check it out. It'S just it's like my first video, it's so old. I just look back and I'm like what what you know, I'm just it's weird but go check that video out if you'd like today, I thought I would recreate his hairstyle, but do an updated version just because I do have a better method to doing it. You know last time I like used a blow dryer and all that, so this was just way more. Like simple get to the point hairstyle tutorial and like I said this, hairstyle is really popular and really um. You know just really versatile, especially this haircut. This is how I have it cut and I just style it a little bit different, and I know some of you might say that this looks similar to the first one, that I did, but that's kind of what I'm doing just a little updated version. And, of course, you know you can't do so much with men's hairstyles, it's just different little techniques and things you use, but it's not like anything. You know it's not going to be so different and I'll stop talking and just get right to the video hope. You all had a great New Year's Eve and with that being said, let's get this video rolling. Alright, so first thing I'm going to use is the big sexy hair dense, primer spray. I talked about this in my last video. It is a top favorite product of mine from last year or still is a period product. So this is a certified your favorite product, right anyways. So what you do is you just massage it evenly throughout your entire hair? You want to make sure to just kind of massage it and don't really get it into the roots, the crown or the tips all over your hair, and this is just going to thicken your hair and just gon na make everything hold in place. I tell you this is a really great product and then for my main product here. This is the hair bond UK. It'S called the shaper and it's just like a pomade type of product, it's kind of creamy and it just really holds everything in place and, as you can tell, I used one fingertip worth. I promise you a little bit goes a long way just start off. Slowly and see you know if you would like to add more than just add more, it's all up to you and just same thing, just really distribute it evenly all around your hair roots, the tips. You know I see some people that just add globs of product in one specific area so just be sure to get it all over your hair, and I promise you it's just gon na make a really big difference, and what you do here is with your fingers. You just start shaping it. Your hair, how you like, as you can tell the front part, is just spiked up and then I'm just spiking the rest and then I'm just kind of massaging it more. In my hair I figured I needed a little bit more product, so, as you can tell, I just added a little bit more product and I'm just getting it more in the back part of my hair at the top. And if this looks a little weird, but I set that before that in you know, when doing hairstyles, it's crucial to do to do it with your hands. It just works better. You can just have more control over your hair. Now it's going to tell just kind of shaping the front part once again, because I had messed it up yeah I just kind of doing it. However, I like and bam I'd like to do also need a little twist type things with my hair, and I promise you also. I know I keep saying are clumsy no, but if you do this, if I first do this, it doesn't work out the more you practice. The more your hair will shape to this hairstyle. You know it all just depends on how much how many times you do. This and then, when you're finished, with the hairstyle you like it, you will be using, or I am using the big sexy hair spray and stay another favorite product of mine. I also talked about this in my last video, just a few little sprays and all done, and that was my hairstyle tutorial hope you guys enjoy it. Jake Dawson: I use the hairbond shaper, it's truly awesome! it may look a little shiny when it first goes in but when it dries it looks matte. I don't get how you get the middle/back to stick up, I can only ever get my hair into a quiff at the front, the middle/back refuses to go up.
