Is something I've noticed? Blonde is chewy more curly, Pixies side Parts, the death of the curly girl method, Monet is a pyramid scheme and it's time to talk about it, oh honey, it's 2023 and we need to get predicting because the year ahead of us from what I can see is Going to be very interesting, also a little bit scary, but it will be hairy, and I mean that positively now I've got quite a few different predictions for the year. I'Ve broken them up into categories. We'Re gon na go over hairstyle trends from cuts to Colors product Trends, hair care, routine Trends and Industry Trends. Now, if you're wondering what my credentials are, I have a pretty good track record from previous years. My predictions tend to come true. Maybe it's because I have influence over them, maybe because I'm psychic, you know I have the answers written in my cards, maybe not that one, but these ones are all good. It has both a hair, stylist and a YouTube Creator been doing this for five years now, since 27 33 holy, I have to say, I have a good idea of what's coming, and so just before we get into my predictions. Let'S quickly recap: the past couple of years, in 2021, I predicted that we were going to see more curlies emerging. I mean that was as a result of 2020. Everyone was home, no one did their hair, they realized, they had curly hair and they start they started barking on a whole new Journey. So it was the year with more curlies A Rage which has been increasing now with that, because curly hair can be very overwhelming. We talked about the way towards a basic styling, so simple, routines, five steps, including shampoo conditioner, the essentials. This is all still very relevant. Now we also predicted more focus on scalp care, treating the scalp like the skin that it is and little did. I know that was only the beginning: more and more Brands every month are coming out with a scalp Caroline, and I love it, but also I'll share more about that in a minute. Finally, in 2021 we predicted responsible packaging and sustainable products and if you take a look at the shelves, we're seeing more and more aluminum packed products, we're seeing Eva NYC AG jvn hair lots more to come. I am sure, but then again I was pretty sure about these 2022 Trends, and this is what we got right. First and foremost, I predicted we would see more fragrance-free products. I didn't see too many new launches of fragrance free products. Maybe I was just foreshadowing. You know not intentionally. I knew that I was launching a product later that year that was made fragrance free, as in there's no perfume added to the product, and that is the verb proforming gel that I had a very integral role of developing last year. It was a very, very cool project to me over the past couple years. Trying to find fragrance free products has been very important and so we're gon na hope. We'Re gon na hope that we'll continue to find that going forward. So it wasn't completely untrue, but not completely correct. I had also predicted that we would see more peptide products more Bond Builders because I mean bomb Builders have been popping up like nothing and there has been a few, but I was expecting to see more peptides peptides. Very simply are made up of long chains of amino acids. These are the building blocks of proteins which our hair is made up of. So these are good to strengthen and help repair the hair, and while we haven't seen too many yet I think that we will see more peptide products. Okay, so it wasn't a wrong prediction, but we did predict drastic hair changes, copper and bangs. You can't tell me that there were any more trendy haircuts. Besides, don't even say the butterfly haircut, it's just a reworked, freaking unicorn haircut, which is fine. We can talk about the actual differences between the different DIY haircuts very soon, but you cannot deny that copper has come. We also saw a lot of bob haircuts. A lot of people were doing my universe, haircut tutorial and a lot of people were just trying to get rid of the memories of the past previous two years and then bangs specifically curtain bangs. We saw a ton of this. It went with a lot of the trending haircuts, because one of the popular Styles people were doing last year was the 70s blowout, so they wanted the big voluminous face frame and it looks stunning I did think we were gon na see more DIY hair color in The forms of direct dyes, but I think that the companies will release more products this year, especially with everyone coloring. Their hair copper gets full video on them a little while back, and I think Brian's are gon na start picking up the slack. Besides that, I predicted to see more curly hair extensions. Now I think I forgot about this because I didn't actually buy more extensions but browsing on Amazon. There are so many more options for curly hair, clip-in extensions. Now so I'm gon na say this came true because last year there was only very very few that had extension companies that were selling to curly hair and they are like hundreds of dollars a lot, a lot of money for clip-in extensions and now they're on Amazon And they look good and as for my final Trend forecast last year, I had said we're going to see a lot more wedding, hair, curly, hair for brides and well, we shared quite a few different tutorials. We have our very own curly hair bride, getting married this November, so Market calendars and stay tuned, because that's going to be more of what we're going to see on the channel. But I let's move on to what we're gon na see in general, shall we? This is 2023, we're not looking in the past. This is what I see I wanted to write things down. I forgot I was gon na. Do that I wanted. I want to do that. This is gon na look really unsettling people, because the tea and styles is that even how you spell it, it looks so wrong. I accidentally wrote that one lowercase, but everything else is uppercase. It'S on feeling. So, first up we're going to talk about style Trends because there's always someone in the comments that is like Mal. I literally have an appointment tomorrow. If so, this is for you. If you didn't cut it all off last year, it's only a matter of time, and time is now. I think we're gon na see a lot of short hair this year. Hair can hold a lot of memories and energy, and if it's gotten long and it's probably damaged there, was no time like the present to chop it all off, and I look forward to seeing more curly Pixies now. It would be irresponsible of me to say that without disclaiming to you, the hard facts, as in short hair is, is a lot to manage. You know it takes more Salon visits more daily restyling. It'S you know: it's not low maintenance, necessarily, so only you know if you're ready, but I think short hair is stunning and I look forward to seeing it and if it's not short hair, I even think longer. Hairstyles are going to graduate more towards my level. Hey eyes up here, but I think it's going to be yay high, There's Something About This midi length which I swear before diffusing today I was at, but the bounce today is is ridiculous. Anyways this mid length. It just looks good on everybody. Honestly. This is a timeless style that looks great, both straightened and curly, which I think is how a lot of people are going to be styling this year, we're gon na get blonde okay, but finally side Parts, Honeys, my Millennial, Queens, Gen, X and listen gen Z. We are here for The off-center Parting. The reality is, it adds great balance to an asymmetrical face, but, most importantly, I think people are tired of wearing their hair down the middle all the time styling your hair in one part every single day. It'S not good for that part you're, putting a lot of tension in one area, because I know you're also doing those slick back buns and those slick back hairstyles. If you're doing that, all the time you will be parting, the Red Sea and so take it from me, you are better off exploring a little extra distance off the center and it's just a great way that you can switch up your hair without necessarily switching up The style or the color, I'm not going to say blonde, is chewy, as some others had said. That'S not the fact. It'S the fact that everyone looks amazing with their natural color. When I say everyone, I do mean most people, most people look best with the color that grows out of their head and we are seeing celebrity after celebrity because you know they're the ones that start the trends. Not me we are seeing them go back to their natural roots and if they have highlights and dimension it's almost this tone on tone color that you can't really see it's undetectable. It just looks like natural dimension in the hair to give some movement to give a little Shimmer, but we're not seeing those pops, those streaks necessarily anymore. I don't feel like those are going to be very trendy this year, and this is great because this is going to make your hair a lot healthier. It'S going to require a lot less visits to the hair salon. If I just continue to speak for myself, although sometimes we miss the blonde, I did used to have very blonde hair. If you are new here, there's something about this shine, this naturalness that I'm really vibing with take that information as you will and if you shall get yourself a root, melt and tone that all down, I think that's everything, oh. As for the copper hair trend, I don't think it's gon na stick around for too much longer. I could be wrong on that, but I think when things are too trendy, like literally everyone and it looks - listen, it looks amazing on everyone. I'D love to see it, but when literally, everyone has now dyed their hair, copper, it does just seem like a trend, and you know maybe this is actually just going to be the year of the end of Trends. Unfortunately - and I say this with deep regret - I do I think the ash is gon na come back. I think blue hair will actually have a moment because it's opposite to copper and not necessarily like blue hair, but also like that blue black and cool tones. I'M afraid I'm afraid those those might come back, because the people that went copper are gon na, have regrets and they're gon na want to go back to cool, but maybe not knock on wood, because I love the warmth that copper and just golden chocolatey Rich, warm Colors give to people give it to the people. Now, let's see what product Trends I think brands are going to give to the people what types and for whoms I just I had fun writing that. Don'T make fun of my writing. It changes with every letter. I'Ve been journaling this year, so hopefully by the end of 2023. My handwriting will be much prettier that didn't rhyme and that's a problem. I'M actually excited we and I'm talking to specifically those that have been following me. Listen we're ahead of this trend, okay, detox and clarifying shampoos. I think we are gon na see a lot more. This year we had some of the biggest brands in Hair Care launched some last year, I'm talking about olaplex and k-18. Once again, they both released detox, clarifying shampoos and solely based on the fact that those two brands are so education focused. I think they open the eyes of a lot of people onto why it's so important to clarify, and with that I do think we'll see a lot of people marketing detox shampoos. Detox is, is it's just like a marketing term? You can't actually detox your your hair or your skin if a brand is specifically telling you that you need to detox and remove. You know, ingredients that we know are healthy and fine for the hair like silicones, parabens and sulfates, then just be wary of those. But look to brands that special eyes in Hair Care specialize in the health of hair. On that note, hair, oiling, hair oils, hair oily is part of the routine that again coming up next, but I think because now people are starting to take a lot more care for their hair and we look back at what has worked for thousands of years, specifically Based in ayurveda, I think there's going to be a lot more Brands coming out with hair oils. Honestly, I have so many hair oils and I think it's all becoming a little bit excessive. I think it's becoming very confusing because it's like which one do I use for what and so we'll have to talk about that in a future video. I predict we're going to see a lot more products come out, not marketing towards curly, hair, straight hair, oily hair, but marketing towards your hair type, even on allure's best of products from 2022, which we reviewed in last week's video. Even their list was differentiating for fine hair for thick hair, because the reality is hair care doesn't come down to your curl shape. It doesn't come down to your curl pattern. The right products for you are determined by your hair's texture as in, if it's fine, medium or coarse and your hair's porosity. That'S how you want to determine what products to use on your hair stop hyper, focusing on your curl pattern. It'S irrelevant news on the topic of scalp care, which of course, we've seen a rise in in fact, searches for the term scalp treatment for dry hair are up 70 on Pinterest, but I do want to warn you about that. If it's a hair, styling brand, it's not that they can't do research and development sure they can. But I would advise, when you're looking for scalp care, to look for brands that really focus on hair care and maybe they're even a skin care brand. We saw both the ordinary and the inky list. Skincare Brands come out with hair care and scalp care and hopefully we'll see more skincare Brands kind of dive into the Hair Care realm, not necessarily for the ends. But what I'm saying is shop for Brands based on their Specialties, okay, and let's talk about how we're going to use them of how to how we actually do our hair in 2023. I think, is going to look a little bit differently. So this is our hair care and routine trends that I am predicting, so we just talked about hair, oiling and scalp care, even just recently the mael Rosemary mint scalp oil. This was a winner of the naturally curly 2021 best of products that I reviewed a long time ago. Since then, it's continued to gain a ton of popularity and a lot of people are running with the soft evidence that Rosemary can show has shown some progress in the hair growth region. Okay, it's very invigorating. I think a lot of people are kind of holding on to that and so that's gone completely. Viral sold out cleared the shelves, congratulations that is exciting and I'm glad that more people are incorporating hair oiling into their routines, especially on their scalps. But there's almost always a butt, don't leave it on too much. Okay, we'll talk more about that in a future video. This is something I've noticed and it's time to talk about it, people are bringing back the creamy crack, as in hair, relaxer, relax. I'Ve seen a few videos pop up on my YouTube recommendations of people. Doing relaxers at home doesn't hurt me I mean yeah, I mean I. I want everyone to love. What naturally grows out of their head and reality is it's not that people don't, but I think a lot of people have been hit with the realization that this is not for me and that's completely valid with any hairstyle you choose, you have to think about the Lifestyle that you live, the reality is tight, coily, hair and curly hair, even wavy hair can all be difficult to manage if you don't necessarily have the time for it, the care for it. Maybe you just want that wake up and go, and I think people are going to continue exploring relaxing their hair, which is okay, because nowadays, there's a lot better technology to make sure that our hair stays healthy. Yes, these treatments are damaging, but they don't have to be detrimental, and so, when done correctly, you can still have really beautiful, healthy hair. That is relaxed and that's a fact in general. I think people's hair is just a lot more healthy nowadays. I think it's going to continue to be healthy if we don't color it as much this year in the salon, but with that okay, yes, there may be less chemical damage. I think we're going to see more mechanical damage. What Mel chemical Mel come on Nicole damage when I say mechanical damage, I mean there's going to be a lot of styling. I think for people to switch up their look. Even for me, you know if they're, not coloring it and they're not doing any crazy haircuts. I think people are just gon na have more fun with Styles, twisting their hair this way and snatching it back. This way also smoothing it out this way with a blow dryer, a flat iron. I think people are just going to be more open to styling their hair different ways, but even so the more you do to your hair, the more you touch it, the more you work it the more manipulation, the more mechanical damage, and so this or that Tit For Tat, you can still do a number to your hair when you were styling uh, any any other way, that's okay, because we can care for that. The last two things for this category. I think, since now many of us are seasoned curlies. Okay, we've been there done that we've almost mastered our curl routines. We'Re gon na do more intentional styling. What I mean by this is, I think people are going to know what style they want like. Let say they specifically want elongated curls, or they specifically want a really voluminous hairstyle with a lot of shrinkage. We'Re not just going balls to the wall slap on SLAP off wishing for the best we're actually gon na make a plan. So when I say intentional styling, it's saying I want my hair to look like this. I'M going to use these products to achieve it and use this styling method, because it's going to save you time, it's going to save you money now, if you aren't sure how you can intentionally be styling, then get out of detention and make sure you're subscribed to Me because we're going to share a lot of different ways that you can style your hair, a lot of different types of routines. I already have tons on this channel again. I'Ve been here for five years birthday birthday party coming soon, but in other news we have to talk about the recession that we are in it's scary times just over the holidays. I saw so many of my mutuals really struggling over the holiday season to fill their books, which in Salon is just unheard of not as many people have a lot of disposable income to spend on their hair care and their self-care. So they're gon na have to do it themselves. 2023 is more DIY for you from me: okay, different haircuts, even DIY hair color, which we're gon na, have to do a lot of Education behind that, and I think people are going to also explore DIY home remedies. But I just want to warn you to be careful, because if you're, not a Hair Chemist, things can start growing and that's just not healthy, so be careful with the at-home hair care remedies. Remember food belongs on the in the inside of your body, for it to help the outside. I'Ve never been a fan of mixing raw ingredients in your kitchen to put onto your hair. It'S just it's just not it's not necessary, but I think we might see a lot of that this year as a community. I think we're going to see the death of the curly girl method. Please can I say blues, and finally, no, this is something that has been happening pretty much. Every curly, hair Enthusiast creator that you have been following has come out with a video on why they no longer follow the curly girl method. There is a method to the madness: the was too strict. It wasn't based on anything in science and some of the core practices perpetuated such damage. That was almost irreversible. So with that, I think the next industry Trend that we're going to see with the death of the curly girl method is no more co-washing. If one our co-wash comes out this year, honestly, the brand it's their fault, it's their fault for being behind. Obviously we like shampooing now we know that we need to detox our hair. There is almost no need for a hookah wash in your routine. Sometimes it's a nice to have. I will use one on a very, very blue moon, not even I almost always feel worse. After co-washing, my hair, because I feel dirty co-washing will do nothing, it should for your scalp and so they're gone this one. I'M gon na get a lot of heat for this one, but it needs to be said incoming. I'Ve noticed a lot more um, Lincoln bio. Take my hair quiz Monet girlies. I don't know if there are more Market partners that have joined the Monet brand or they've just entered the tick tock realm, but at the end of the day, Monet is a pyramid scheme. The products they're. Not great, listen! You do you, you do you, but don't try dming me on why I should start selling please thank you. Okay, I'm good, I'm good. Finally, I think we're gon na see more science. We want science backed hair care, but that's going to bring in a lot of science washing and a lot of Brands like Monet and other and many other brands. We'Ll use a lot of language. That sounds scientific, but what is it based off of? Let'S always check our resources and when I'm bringing you the facts, you can bet that I'll always share resources. References in the description box, final notes and remarks, though I would like to continue seeing this is an ongoing thing that you know it should be really this standard more inclusivity and we're not just talking about race. I also I mean yes, but I also want to see more age more gender diversity, Hair Care is not specifically gendered a lot of the times. I try to catch myself from saying curly girls to just curlies, because you could be anybody and you could be of any age any race. I want to see everybody. I want Brands to include everybody in their marketing. That should be the bare minimum, including being cruelty free and going forward on this channel. You are not going to see me use any products that aren't cruelty free in the past. I'Ve made exceptions because I wanted to review things and I'm really going to try to stick to my word of of not. I don't want to give my space to any products and brands that are cruelty. That are cruelty because it's cruel and that's all I'll, be saying: I'm I'm not fun, but I'm not done. When am I ever actually done very soon. Amanda start rolling the music, but more accessibility coming this year. We need more drugstore for curly hair routines. I want to share that with you, of course, so more accessibility from me, okay, and on that note, I think it's time for our q a this is a question from our last video and Ashley asks when looking for new hair stylist. What are some questions? I can ask to know if they are a good fit. What are some red flags and green flags? A red flag is if your stylist does not ask enough questions during your consultation. Consultation is a conversation where I would be asking you pretty much everything I need to know about your hair, including your lifestyle, your routine, what maintenance you're looking for so green flag if they ask a lot of questions and it's a bonus if they have a portfolio On Instagram or elsewhere of their work, showing that they can work with your hair, that doesn't mean that you don't give a beginner, stylist or even a student a chance. I myself was a student once and people gave me a chance, mostly because I had curly hair. They said if you've got curls. I trust you with mine, because you know the struggle, and so that's always a benefit, maybe go to a stylist who has hair. That looks like yours as well, and the second part to Ashley's question was: how do I avoid wasting time and money with someone that is just going to recommend things for sales instead of the health of my hair, you got ta trust your gut part of a Stylist job is to recommend you with proper hair care to maintain the hair that they gave you. But if something's not sitting right, your hair doesn't look good, leaving the salon, but those products and you're already content with your routine. Then you can just politely disregard their recommendations and just take their services and go and if you can, if you're in North America, it's the standard tip your service providers. If you possibly want to hear your question answered at the end of a video, then make sure to comment in the comment section below whatever question you have. Thank you so much for coming to my Trend predictions this has been. I don't even know how long we've been uh talking here, but um. I'M happy that you are here and thriving in 2023 and that your year. The fact that you're subscribed to me just makes me so happy, because I am here on this channel out each and every texture Thursday, to bring you new tips and tricks, because at the end of the day, at the end of the year. At the end of your hair, the ends the ends of your hair trim regularly. I am here for you, I am your main gramel, I'm excited for the year that we have ahead. This take this list as a forecast for what you can expect to see from me, and let me know in the comment section below what you need to see immediately: okay, if there's a specific video request, you have you never know it might just be our next Video Until then, I'm out peace. Let me just situate this curl out of my face. Actually, if you can gaze into the future future, this is what Mary is predicting in 2023. You know what I mean I was raised by that queen. That was my hair wrap. Raven also had the best hairstyles we're gon na have issues we're gon na have issues today. Aren'T we you know, I could have a good hair day, but there's always going to be that one hair out of place that one strand that drives me Prince. I don't move my head. Hopefully that will stay, but why are you even here to listen to me? Well, I've got some I've got. I can. I can tell you a few things we're going to be here for approximately 365 days, except for it's now the 10th. So 355 days and by the time you're watching this 300 and 353 days, isn't that crazy that hit the spot? It'S only mole caffeine, so we're gon na we're gon na try to work through this. I don't know why we're popping what if why are we popping anything? Okay, we're gon na answer we're gon na turn. My friend said you have to be a certain type of person to be able to speak to just a camera she's, not wrong. I mean I look at the camera and my camera. It almost looks like a little robot. You know the Pixar eye like a lamp. That'S what my camera looks like. I do need a new device. I'M not gon na talk about that, but she's like a little guy. You know how long have I been talking? We killed it yeah we did it, he did it. We did it all right. You know, I'm loving the energy. My camera's gon na die. What'S

Melika Aziminia: Maybe another thing that people will talk about this year is how your curl pattern can change throughout your life? I remember when my curls started changing for a multitude of reasons, and I went googling and all I found were just curly hair treatment sore salons to cut curly hair. So maybe that could be something we talk about in 2023? Not everyone’s gonna have the same texture all throughout their life and that’s OK.

la hy: I am so happy to hear you talk about inclusivity. I am 70 years old and have long gray hair. It is thick and coarse. It is curly/wavy. I would love to hear you address specifically my type of hair. I have been watching you and your videos for years and love your commitment to science and education. Keep it up, please!

Razia: Girl you are rocking that fortune teller look! I hope we get to see more women growing their grey hair out without worrying too much.

Melissa Kessler: I would love to see more videos on naturally silver/graying hair and how that affects styling and hair are. My curl pattern and texture are changing as more ‘salt' is sprinkled into my pepper and I would appreciate product and technique recommendations that address this. Also, more DIY haircut videos, please!

Jennifer Stevens: I love that you brought up curl type! People are obsessed with this notion of assigning a number to your hair... Especially on the curly hair Facebook groups. The other thing that I'd love to see go bye bye is the idea you cannot call your hair curly if it "doesn't curl from the root". You could have ringlets all over your head, but must call your hair "wavy" if the first three centimeters aren't immediately curly from the root.

Katie: Yes to cruelty-free only products! ❤ And yes to more age diversity in product lines! ❤ Looking forward to the oils video and some drugstore haircare

Chelsey Burt: I can’t wait for the video on hair and scalp oils! I’m so overwhelmed with all the options and I need the tea from a fellow curly.

gila dikel: Your hair looks so amazing!! I can't get my curls to look like that anymore It has actually gotten worse since I stopped coloring my hair almost a couple of years ago and more grey is growing. Can you do a video on aging curly hair? Thank you for all your content- love watching your videos!!

Kristen Bellows: I ditched the curly girl method last year and I'm having a lot more fun with the products I buy. I love just picking a product and not worrying about waxes, silicones, alcohol etc. I'll stop using it if it doesn't work for me.

r: I have been a natural grey/ silver curly for nearly 2 years now. I’m still struggling with frizz/glycerine/protein… Can you please do a video on how to care for grey curly hair. I think I’m high porosity and sensitive to protein. Thank you Mel/Amanda! Love you

RC Kogut: I would definitely like to see a video for older women (I'm 64) who have curly hair, but longer hair doesn't look good anymore. Cuts, wash day routines, products for making thinner areas look thicker, healthier, etc.

Natalie Dean: For me, MY curly hair is not nearly as hard to care for as I first thought. I was pretty intimidated, at first, at the thought of styling my curly hair. But I've learned some tricks that make it so easy, for me. Plus, I have soft curls that stay curly, in place, no matter what I do. I wash and style my hair once a week. For the remainder, I just wear a satin bonnet to bed, and then, just let my hair fall naturally for the rest of the week. I may do a light refresh after a couple days or so, but it basically involves only getting rid of some frizz. Everyone says it looks great! As far as the color trends go, I think one of the worst things about color tends is not whether they are warm or cool, but that so many women, and some men decide to color their hair in a trendy color that does NOT match their skin tone, so a copper hair, per se, does not necessarily look very pleasing on a person with a pinkish or cool skin tone. Let's face it, not all colors will fit everyone. And, no matter what the mantra is, we all want our hair to look good because our hair makes us look good! On an end note. Before my husband and I went on our most recent date night, I fluffed my hair and roots out pretty good. I asked my daughters how my hair looked, and they chuckled and said, "It looks great! It looks just like Mel's!" THANK YOU, MEL!! I feel fabulous!!

Erin Gallardo: I’m so glad you predicted cool tones coming back bc I decided to stop dyeing last year at 40 y/o and am letting my natural grays come in. I’ve always dyed my hair with warmer tones so it’s a big switch for me. I’m a little nervous but also excited and curious. I’ll take any guidance for maintenance and care of curly gray hair! I watch your videos with my AirPods in while diffusing every week and it has helped me SO much with my hair! Thank you for doing this channel! ❤

TheLauren1113: I ditched the curly girl method long ago. Build up isn’t pretty and my hair looks way better when I shampoo. Thanks to you, I stopped feeling guilty about my love of shampoo and my use of silicones.

Linda Liriel: I think there is one place where cowash still makes sense: after a henna treatment. If you do a henna treatment at home, you aren't supposed to wash your hair with shampoo, you're supposed to just rinse it out. However rinsing out often doesn't remove enough of the henna "grit" and henna does leave hair feeling pretty dry (it feels wonderful after a day or two though!), so I "rise" my hair out using a cowash and I think it works quite well. My hair is clean through the henna and not so dry.

Ella Mae: Dude I feel like clarifying shampoo will make a HUGE comeback because so many people were on that no poo method. Which in my humble opinion is just not it, but now a ton of people have itchy irritated scalps. I have never followed the curly girl method it’s just too much work lol, I’ve been loving your channel and the live laugh locks channel. Me personally for my hair, I’m loving the curly curtain bangs with a low messy bun; and LOTS AND LOTS of hair flowers.

: I'm so happy to see curly hair has been getting the love it deserves for the past few years, I've always found it super pretty, cool and it really stands out in the best way. I'm also happy that we are seeing more people embracing not only the natural texture of their hair, but also the color. Don't get me wrong, I love dyeing my hair as much as the next person, but the damage and the money is not worth it most of the time in my personal opinion. I spent several years putting my hair in rollers because I wanted curly hair so bad, but that eventually caused damage. My hair is mostly pin straight, but a few individual hairs have this pronounced wave to them, kind of like a ramen noodle pattern, I don't know if this is common. It's thick to the point that some hairs are almost as thick as armpit hair lol, and I have so much of it, and even though I lost a lot of hair due to stress, my ponytail is still thicker than the average.

Elim Garak: I just have to vent this out. I once went to a highly regarded salon and someone with straight hair was assigned to me. I told that person to not use a razor blade to texture my hair and they did anyway. They ignored me and told me they "know hair." I was so sad. I went back and a senior stylist had to recut my hair while explaining to the person who messed it up WHY I told them not to use the razor, and after they were done fixing it for me, the length was entirely lost and the hair was like a round fur coat against my head, showing my head's shape in all it's glory. Ugh. The question about what are red flags when trying to find a stylist made me remember this. It happened like 15 or so years ago and I still feel the trauma from that.

Angelique Schalk-Ruff: I’ve been at this curly hair journey for a long time and I’ve learned sooo much. BUTT I feel like I’ve almost forgot the basics! Can you do an updated video on styling Amanda’s long curls?? I could use a refresher!! ❤

Millianeyes: So glad you mentioned more inclusive. I’ll be 60 this coming May and have let my hair grow out to completely grey. I also have fine curly hair. I need more recommendations on how to keep my hair healthy and how to add more lift so my hair can be big and beautiful.

Crithosceleg: I haven't colored my hair in ages, but I keep falling more and more in love with the natural colors going on. I was a blond kid whose hair darkened with age into a light brown with a lot of blond and red highlights. When my hair is happy and healthy, I could stare at my curls all day.

Verreal: I love your subtle makeup look today. Also the lip color is just gorgeous. P.S. I have the most success with what I call demi shampoo, just use half the amount everyone recommends, because otherwise I'll get irritation. But pure conditioner is going to get dust and dirt sticking to it and look dull.

Johanna Beas: I think I've been following you for 4 years nows... you've been sooo helpful and amazing. I love laughing with you and ur sister I have 4 sisters too so when I hear you guys talk I feel like it's me and my sisters having a convo too! Thank you!!!

Patti Carnevale: I have to try the Verb Curl Foaming Gel. I started playing with curly hair styles last year but ran into a problem with almost every hair product I tried. Disclaimer: I am allergic to a lot of things (food, apparently scents etc) so I do not believe it was the individual products fault. What I have found is that a lot of curl friendly unscented products just are not holding as well, but once the humidity kicks up again, I will see how it goes. Unfortunately i had an issue with Curlsmith. Rizos, Shea Moisture (all of which I loved, my skin unfortunately did not!), even Olaplex for shampoo/conditioner. All of these caused terrible eczema, and some made me look like I had a chemical burn on m skin. Thanks for the great video, I always find your content very informative and entertaining. Happy New Year!

Rachael Wisely: Just bought my first clarifying shampoo and I’m psyched to try it! Recently almost bought the mielle scalp oil and now I’m thinking I should definitely give it a try. Would love to see a video on drug store recommendations and navigating accessible options! I would also be interested in the comparison of types of products for different hair types (fine vs coarse, high vs low porosity etc.)! Love your content and thx for all the information ❤

Prima Wagan: mel, have been subscribed to you not all 5 years, but for 3 years. Have learned a lot from you. So happy to hear that you're continuing to advocate for curly variety. Please can you add aging/greying curlies and your recommendations for how to keep our hairs healthy when we're going through this crazy, hormonal, stress filled change with our hairs. THANK YOU!!!❤

Brenda S. Tisdale Johnson: Mel, I'm so glad I found you! I have very different textured hair and it takes a knowledgeable person to know how style my hair. However, I'm know wanting to wear my hair curly and bought tons of product with no rhyme or reason. After watching your videos I've organized my products I already own to going along with your styling hair process to get some use out of them. Ordered new products you suggested, can't wait until they come! I've learned so much, who knew I could brush my type of hair wet vs. only comb and the squishing of the curls to get my curls works! So now I have my curls, however, using my old products does leave my hair a bit frizzy so once my products arrive, I'll be on my journey of discovering what works to give me that great curl pattern that doesn't frizz up half way through my day. Thanks again Mel and Mel's sister!;-)

Stargazer87: Lol discovered you a lil while ago and fell in love. You're awesome Mel. Love you and Amanda Love ya'll sisterly bond. The outtakes at the end are everything! I gotta thank you because my curls have never looked before. Finally started embracing my curls during the pandemic and haven't looked back! I love my curls now. Learned how to diffuse them properly because of you, Mel. Thaaaank you! Big fan of your content ✨️

Erin McTague: I’ve been watching you for about 3 and a half years and I’m so happy I found you. I was at such a loss with my hair and after the last couple years you have tight me so much I even started teaching my mom about her curly hair. I appreciate you choosing cruelty free as well because I care a great deal about that. And also thank you for helping all of us with combination/wavy hair know we are fully accepted

Amber: I cut my own curly hair (thanks to your videos ), and I just cut 4 inches of my hair off to that mid length. I always cut my hair to that length because it looks great and it's a nice restart. I also tried the curl foam from verb for the first time yesterday and I loved it! So easy and great as a one product styler :)

J G: Thank you for confirming short hair takes more daily restyling. After damage forced a big chop, I thought it was just me, like I was doing something wrong. The bed head is real!!

Belinda Chappell: I just had a big chop, with layers cut in too and it’s already easier to maintain and refresh. I feel like it’s bought so much more life to my look. Loving to shorter lengths ❤

Sheila Kott: Mel, I just love your humor and sunny disposition. I appreciate you so much in that you share your experience and knowledge with us. I wish we had computers when I was growing up. I never knew how to enjoy my curly hair until I stumbled upon your channel several years ago.(and I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 1987) I started some of your curly hair tips on styling and have not gone back. Gave away my curling irons and flat irons. I love not having to style my hair only to go outside into the humidity and wear frizz all day long, constant pony-tales to hide the frizz, awful haircuts and hats. all this to say thank you, thank you, thank you. God bless you.

Sarah Ibis: I would love to see more stylists learning, professionally, how to cut, care, and style curls. Most trips to the salon mean me educating them, and STILL walking out with a ball of frizz and snarls because they don’t know how to layer products. Or brush style, or finger curl, or smooth cuticles, or clump curls, or anything. Nor do they know how to diffuse for definition. Or even until my hair is fully dry. I feel like the professional world is way behind the times and it’s amazing to me because there is so much information out there from influencers like Mell (and others) whose knowledge isn’t reaching the cosmetology schools or the salons, where we really need it. It’s crazy.

Gaga13Kaulitz10ANIME: Awesome predictions, Mel! I would love to see a review of affordable curly hair extensions... I can never seem to get my hair to grow beyond my shoulders before it starts splitting and looking scraggly... I WANT LONG HAIR! Lol! Again, thank you for your hard work and care you put into these videos <3

Danielle St. John: I would love to see more products and styling tips geared specifically toward wavy textures. I know you've done a few videos on it, but I'm hoping for more cuz I'm greedy

Kara Lattimore: Me watching this after booking my apt for curly highlights like Amanda’s We’re going to have to extend the highlights trend for me !!

Rebecca Brock: I am 55 and have colored my curls for YEARS. I finally got tired of fighting the greys and just let them grow in about two years ago. WELL, they are a different texture than my dark hair. How do I style the different textures to have less frizz and fight the changes in aging hair?

Abigail Lewis: I love this channel so much! You have helped me so much Mell and my hair definitely sends thanks!

Vikki Stutzman: You have been nailing it lately! I can't agree more with a lot of the things you have been saying that everyone needs to hear!!

Taylor Hopp: I would love to hear more on hair oils. 1)What type to use depending on hair type. 2) Where to use those specific types. (Do the ends need different oil than the scalp?) 3) When to use. (Before washing, through out the week as maintenance, before you diffuse, etc) Thanks so much!

CurlyK: I caught Mel several years ago for the first time. Since then, I've learned so very much and recommend her channel to all my friends and family. Once my hair had begun its turn to grey, I thought my curls were gone for good. Watching Mel and Amanda gave me the courage to try some different products and see what happened. I'm now 62, and my hair is long, layered and curly. The color goes from snow white in the front to a mixed salt and pepper in the back, and I get complements regularly on both the color and curls. I'm still working to perfect my routine to get consistent results, though. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.

D W: I didn't know your Verb product was fragrance free, I'm going to buy it right now! Fragrance free helped stop my hair shedding. I have moderate hair loss (medical) and have been doing Rosemary, peppermint and pumpkin seed the last year. Switched to fragrance free the last 2 months and my hair has really improved! Seen is my mild clarifying shampoo and their body wash cleared up my skin - I had rashes and hives. Jessicurl is my normal shampoo & conditioner. All of this has improved my hair texture. I think the fragrance was making my hair like cotton candy, and not smelling, in texture. It would melt and break easily.

Ben Jammin: Speaking of gender diversity, I was looking for a bonnet on Amazon, and I’m not even joking, ALL OF THEM said “for women” at the end even though it’s completely unnecessary. Hygiene and cosmetic products in general are aggressively gendered and it’s a huge problem.

Susan Hook: I love watching your channel. You crack me up, but give good advice. Inclusivity: want to see more on short curly hair. Methods for longer hair often don’t work the same for us with pixie, or chin length hair, bangs and glasses! It’s so much work, but I don’t want to go back to my straight styles. Stylish seniors want to know!

Ell Anderson: Would love to see more curly/ wavy grey hair care

Michaela Bennison: Going to the hairdresser tomorrow with my boyfriend. He's also a curly guy and hasn't had a haircut since before we met. Thanks to your videos, I feel confident in helping get his hair back to health. Thanks, Mell and Amanda!

Ashlei Shipp: I think your hair always looks great unless you have purposefully let it look a little cough *different for the sake of a product review. In 2023 I hope to see hair care for different curl patters on the same head. I have curly hair underneath my wavy hair on top. So I would love to make my hair look less poofy, with what I got going on my head. I am sure other people have styling issues with different curl parents that look like someone didn’t learn to use a curling iron or ran out of time.

Herbalina: At my last visit to a local stylist, it surprised me that he didn't recommend much. He gave me three samples to take home, which he packaged himself in tiny containers and then wrapped them together in aluminum foil. When I got home, I saw that the samples were all white and creamy in consistency so I didn't know which one was what. He did not even label them or use branded containers. One rec he did give me was for hair wax. I have never used hair wax in my life and have no idea how he came up with that. Maybe to use on my ends? I'm still not sure. Never going back to him.

Olivia Roberts: Hi Mel! I have been watching you since starting my curly hair journey. Since everyone has changed a lot over the past 3 years, I feel like maybe another topic to touch on is how your curl patterns can change over time either from age, environment, stress, hormones, etc. For me personally, my curl pattern has changed a lot from my hormones as I'm going through a really odd transition right now with that. Could you touch on this? Sometimes it can get confusing and I think it's important to note that we won't have the same shape, feel, texture, etc. throughout our life!! How do you ensure you're continuing to care for your hair? Another topic I would love to hear from you about is the use of oils or the OVERUSE of oils. Which are best for changes in your hair...

Anna A: Love you girl! Great personality that lightens my day. Ty for your insight. Happy New Year!!!!!!

S Forman: I'd love to see more diy hairstyles first. I'm a working professional that keeps her hair curly (yes, corporate professionals can be curlies) and I'd love some more options.

CP LDC: Thank you, your videos, your energy, your good mood remotivate me to take good care of my hair and regain a good hair mass after years of hair loss! I'm addicted

ny4000: I really like your dark hair, Mel. It is so flattering on you!

Shir Sp: The repurposed S in 2023 amazing Love an inventive queen! My question is about my at the moment most stressing but also oldest problem: fairy knots. I take care of my hair and my main hair is pretty good but obviously my ends are the roughest and I already get regular trims (by my lovely mom) and cut split ends when I see them but still they knot so much and so fast. I have to cut the hair strand so far up often times. Sometimes up to five, six, seven cm. And then I get sad haha, ‘cause at the moment I’m trying to grow out my hair to see how long it can get and hopefully donate it when it is long enough. Are there ANY tipps and/ or tricks that have helped you our clients or do I have to live with it? All advice is very much appreciated. Thanks for your and your sIIsters work. Excited for your guys’ 2023 content (P.S. my hair is pretty much like yours. Fine to medium and high porosity (as to my judgment))

Fairen Mcfadden: Hey @manesbymell, I have very fine low porosity hair that is easily weighed down by most things. I've grown it out for quite some time so it's all my natural hair color now. Each time I get it cut, the hair artist comments on how fine my hair is. With someone who has hair like mine, would it be beneficial to dye it to get a little damage? Would this help give me more volume? Would it be worth it? My hair is nice and shiny and I'm able to use certain gels and mousses just fine. Thank you so much! :)

amanda sepulveda: Sooooo I love co-washing! I do it like a double cleanse, and my curls always look juicy afterwards. Of course, I don’t do it all the time but I think there’s a time a place for a curly double cleanse!…and you know what a double cleanse is if u follow Susan Yara

Gina Q: I would love to see more DIY haircuts! And some education on self hair coloring

Isabella Byrne: It’s been so great to be here with you these last 5 years. You’re the BEST I want to see that video on hair oiling. I’m confused but also curious. I feel like oils never work on my hair. Stylists are always telling me to use oil but it never seems to penetrate?

Julieta Ruiz: What about adding a frizzy sort of look to your life? I’ve had curls all my life and since a couple of months I’ve been actually loving the frizziness, giving me a young Sonia Braga vibes that I am loving! I’ve been hearing this from a couple of curly friends as well. More natural look than mega super hydrated curls that needed 5 steps of products (exaggerating to get to the point lol), a glimpse to the late 70s, early 80s obsession with volume, curls and frizz. What do you think about this ? Would love to know your personal perspective

Katherine Kelly: ‘Most people look best with the colour that grows out of their head’ maybe true…for most people However the colour growing out of my head these days is grey. While I applaud women doing, or not doing, whatever they want with their hair, I’m just not happy with my grey hair so I plan to be on the colour wagon for a while One thing lockdown did was give me a chance to see my grey hair and confirm I still don’t like it on my head

badria noormuhammad: I’m so happy you’re going cruelty free thank you you’re such an inspiration ❤

Rym🤍: ok mell no matter what tests i do i can never find my hair thickness/porosity/density. for porosity i did the water test which said i had low porosity but then i watched your video on porosity and learnt those tests were fake. i’ve never chemically treated my hair, it’s never been coloured and i used to use heat but i haven’t in a while so i was like cool i probably have lower porosity hair like you said but the thing in the shower it takes some time to get my hair fully wet (like low porosity hair) but some areas get dry so quick (like high porosity hair) for example the front strands of my hair that are shorter than the rest of my hair, i wet them and literally IN THE SHOWER the dry a few minutes later but after i shower some areas stay wet for longer and i’m really confused. can hair have separate porosities in different areas? I thought it would be possible if somebody bleached areas of their hair or got highlights but like i said i’ve never coloured my hair at all. also for my hair thickness, i don’t know whether my hair is thin or normal or thick, some people say roll a strand of hair in between your fingers if you feel nothing it’s thin, if you feel something it’s normal and if you definitely feel it it’s thick but i get different results each time. there’s another test where i compare a strand of my hair to a piece of thread and sometimes it’s around the same size as the thread or smaller so i don’t know. i thought it was normal, but sometimes i got the results for thin hair but the tests say thinner hair can’t hold curls for as long but my hair can? and hair density i don’t even know, i part my hair at it’s natural parting i get the results for normal hair density but if i try partly hair anywhere else i see a lot of scalp despite me having a lot of hair. basically i know nothing about my hair i’m so confused

Ashanti Meije: I went short yesterday and I love it. Like chin short, the shortest I've ever went. So much volume and I feel like it fits my face better. Also found out I love the side part with my shott hair, so it looks like your predictions are right

Robyn Agbenu: Hey Mell - I've been used K18 for my last few wash days and I'm struggling to see results. My hair feels stringy and dry. I've been following the instructions (max 4 pumps on clarified hair, no conditioning) so I don't know where I'm going wrong. Any advice?

oceanaguilar: I have been struggling with my hair once it is dry. My entire hair has a nice cast as well as curls but when it comes to the back of my hair. It starts about half down which gets really tangled and dry. Need to find out how to rejuvenate it or moisture it? Any suggestions? Thank you for taking the time on reading my message and giving me feedback. Hope to hear from you soon....xoxoxox

Julie Robert: I would love to have my hair cut, but if I do I’ll loose a lot of my curls. Question- at 63, am I too old to have longer hair? I’d appreciate your thoughts! I’ve embraced my curls - finally - and would like to keep them.

Vanessa Hogan: Haven't seen you in a while, your hair is phenomenal!!! Cut, color, everything!! Looks so healthy.

Vegan AF: THANK YOU for only promoting cruelty-free brands moving forward.

Cindy MS.: I stopped the curly girl method and threw away all of the Devacurl products and the hairdryer. My hair was falling out and just looked fried. I hover dry like you showed me to do and I use curly safe shampoo and conditioners (am in love with Curlsmith) and my hair has never looked better. Did cut off my hair to remove as much of the damage a couple of years ago and repeated trims have it now looking healthy and shiny. I'm living my best hair days now.

Debra Ray: You crack me up!!! I hope with your prediction on more inclusion in the future we see some concentration on age! Sometimes those of us over " a certain age" are invisible. We have hair and need info. pertaining to our special needs. Thanks and keep up the good work!!

Jacqueline KenKnight: My hair has been copper for 10+ years. I will never not be red. As far as I’m concerned that is my natural color . I have the skin and eye color to look like a ginger. My natural hair is brown with some red undertones. I’m just fixing it the way it should be!

NovaLi: There have been some hair products such as Prose that are made for your hair needs. Basically take a quiz and they make a personalized hair product for you. What are your thoughts on these “personalized hair products?” Do they actually work better?

Kimberly Giebler: As a natural blonde, thank you for not calling me cheugy ❤️

Kimberly Richmond: Thank you so much for sharing such a great, funny, entertaining, and overall GREAT VIDEO!!! ✨✨✨ I hope you are doing well & to anyone + everyone seeing this - I hope you all are doing okay & if not that's okay too!!!✨✨✨

Vicks Villa: Hey Mel, I have questions. What is an at home glaze treatment? Is it beneficial or damaging? Is it like a Bonding treatment? Can I do them both on the same day or week? (Glaze sheer glow , and curl smith bond curl rehab salve). Thanks for helping me on my hair journey! Best wishes! V

Loon E Bin: I come here for your personality and humor, the curly hair stuff is a bonus

KinShan KinShan: I wish I could give you a bzunch of thumbs up (more than the one allowed)! Not only do you generously share good information, you make me smile and laugh. Priceless. Thank you.

jupiter: i wish the fragrance free prediction last year came true maybe this year but we need fragrance free drug store products cuz i don’t need to be spending a pretty penny every time i run out of something

bethany ramsey: Hi! I enjoy your videos so much! They have so much great information and you are hilarious!! I may have missed a few that provide some context to my concern mentioned below so I will be looking through your content but I need help with my waves lasting! Thanks! I'd like to see videos on products / styling methods for longevity of the hair style. I may have too harsh of an idea of what my waves should look like on day 3, but I never feel that my waves look bouncy, smooth, or in great shape past day 2 ‍ I recently purchased Verb products, to include your mousse-gel collaboration and no luck as of yet but still hopeful!! (Are they lasting products?? Are there better/worse products for longevity??) I love how the Verb products make my hair feel, the best so far!!! They don't make my hair feel sticky a day or two later and my hair moves better (getting fingers in the hair to style) even on day 3 or 4, the waves just look... tired... -for refernece, I have been styling my hair and diffusing as you show in your videos for over a year - have since ditched the CGM. And wear a silk/satin sleeping cap most nights (especially when waves are freshly styled). Any tips or products shares in videos to come for longevity of waves/curls would be fantastic!

Faith Bush: Hey Mell, love your channel. My question is, does it matter what direction I use the Denman brush? I have some curls that go toward my face and others go away. I never know which way to use the brush.

Manoji Pereira: Great video! Thanks for calling out MLMs, they took advantage of people who were vulnerable from job losses during the pandemic

Nancy Budd: Mel, I love you so much. This was really interesting. I'm interested on your thoughts (and your curlies) about a couple things.... I'm 43 this year and have always preferred my hair long, but my hairdresser and others around me keep telling me I'm to 'old' for long hair. I totally disagree but people say it a lot.(UK here don't know if its cultural) With that I am a petite 4ft 9 with a small head and face and big hair, I feel like shorter hair would make me look more lost if I were to try it. I have never straightened my hair ever and don't really fancy shelling out for expensive irons but have been considering maybe a wig or 2 for a fun way to change the colour, style and length, any thoughts? Thanks for all your hard work and wonderful advice ❤️

Ruth Epstein: Happy New year Mel. Really enjoyable video. My request is For multi textured hair. It drives me nuts. I'm now 70, and also didn't realise I was so curly till my early 60s. I think thyroid probs might have changed it a bit. The back is very curly? The right side slightly looserz left side looser still. But their is a clump on that side that refuses to even wave no matter what I do. It stays straight. Strange thing is, when I'm up o blowing out my hair, it comes out perfectly shiny and straight. It also lasts for days. I don't think I'm normal. But then many people have told me thia0s....

Kotryna Tamošaitytė: Hey Mell! I would appreciate it so much if you could do a review on Lola Cosmetics' curly products! They are vegan and cruelty-free and the only reviews are in Portuguese haha! It is a brand from Brazil and I believe that more people should know about it. Your opinion would mean a lot to me:)) would love to see how it looks on your hair texture and how long it is doing its job. Obrigada! I've been doing my hair curly for about 7 years now and I want to spread the news to all my friends who might be missing out on their hair potential, almost like a curls influencer on the streets haha. You are an inspiration and I adore your optimism and passion for what we all love here - curls!

Heather Terry: I've been using spoiled child but was honestly wondering if it is something you'd advise one of your clients to use on their permed hair.

Bre Rooney: Hi Mell What would you recommend for winter volume with thinner hair strands? Styling and/or products ✨

bebe rivera: I've been watching you for a long time and your growth is incredible! Tysmf this video

Nicole Senecal: I would love to see a video with many hair cut options. I feel like I can't trust anyone in the salon with my curly hair that does not cost an arm and a leg.

ChocolatePumpkinCurlyGirl: I want everyone to do what they want with their own hair, but for me, and im older, I will never ever relax my hair again. I did it for nearly 20 years, and it took my hair 3 years for my curls to recover. My curls are work, but I adore them.

A M: THANK YOU for being cruelty free in 2023!! ❤

Patricia Cromwell: I'm keeping my cheugy blonde. I've never been one to follow trends. Hopefully by the time it comes back "in style", I'll be fully transitioned to gray.

Brief little candle: I’m a wavy who can put all the products in and comb it straight and let it air dry like that and get lovely straight hair with a few waves at the bottom. Without the leave-in and gel I just have a head of poof. It’s amazing to me how much better my hair texture is with products and this is such a low maintenance way to go. When I try for curls I have to diffuse for at least 30 minutes. Do you think this is healthy for my hair?

kimberly figueroa: Lol u called it I'm having my first curly haircut ‍♀️ I have been waiting for appointment for months . I'm nervous but also sooo excited that my curls /waves are going to be poppin anyways thanks for inspiring me to embrace my curls ✨️

Verreal: For marketing purposes, I'll just mention that when I saw the word "tiktok" my reaction was "No." Then I said "wait, it's Mell. Ok." Also, I love the scientific citations. And I have one thing to say to those who don't think they're necessary: "I do check them, b..."

B: i just cut all my hair off a few weeks ago i love pixies and mid length hair, and it always grows back so fast :) itll be fun to experiment parts and styles while it grows

Dena: I love your energy, so much fun! And that one curl... There's a saying "every party has an a$$#@le" LOL

stella 🫶🏼: MELL I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!! My hair is really weird. I used to not straighten my hair but I used to brush it (DRY) until it was straight for about 10-11 years straight. Also washed my hair with HOT water everytime (guessing it has heat damage cause of that since my front hair isn’t in the water as much when I shower). Yes. It’s bad. I chopped my hair because it just wasn’t curly anymore and the front is 3b/3c and the back is at most 2c. I do Not know what to do. I’ve done so many treatments and everything but nothing helps. (Btw yes before I started this brushing thing the curl pattern was very even. Even tho that time didn’t last long ) anyway mell PLEASE IM BEGGING. Help. Just help.

Meredith Westberg: I've been using my Cerave salicylic acid face cleanser on my scalp for the last 6 months or so, and it has helped with itchiness/flaking. Does it count as a clarifier? It has some EDTA ingredients.

Deanna: Happy Texture Thursday!! Excited to watch!! Much love and happiness!! Xoxo
