$1 Haircut Vs $1000 Haircut... **Huge Mistake**

All right what is going on, ladies and gentlemen, it is simplistic welcome back to another video. Today I am going to be surviving getting the worst slash, cheapest haircut. I could possibly find I've been planning this video for about a month and I've been pushing it back. Every single week, because I love my hair - this right here is my pride and joy. Without this, I'm basically nothing, but we also have a special guest here with me today. He is my best friend I've known him since second grade he's also my cameraman. My boy Christian, I'm in the building and uh. What are you gon na be doing today? I am going to be getting the best rated most expensive haircut and guys look at this. We have been planning for this video for weeks. As you guys can see, the length of our hair is super long, like bro. Look at this. What is this groin right here? It does not look right. You look like a werewolf that does not look right same here. You know what I'm saying: we've been growing it out. We are both in need of a cut, but at least you get the most expensive one bro. I know you're hyped honestly. I am hyped but very, very nervous as well, because you never know you never know they could just buzz my at the best rated haircut hey. I could ask for no lineup and they can line me up. You never know I mean at the cheapest. I can get a good one too, and you just I mean it's all up in the air. We are both gon na go into depth about our experiences at both of the haircut places and give you guys a detailed review. There'S three things I care about in this life: making YouTube videos staying healthy and looking good and that third one is gon na vanish today. So the place I'm going to today is a one star rated place and costs less than ten dollars and the place I'm going to is a five-star place and LeBron James has been there LeBron James, the King goes to your barber shop. Today, Oh you mean, like I'm, the king LeBron James just goes there. I'M nervous, I'm scared, you know the place that we're going to is the classic Supercuts back in the day. My mom would always take me to this place and I always hated it. I just knew I was gon na come out looking so stupid so dumb. This was before I knew what a barber shop was before my mom knew not to take me to a salon which is this place right here. I want to say nine times out of ten. I would go to this place and come out looking worse than when I came in, and on top of that, we're right next to a Dollar Tree, nothing wrong with that. Okay, but I'm just saying we're on the cheap side, as you guys can see. Let'S just uh hope for the best man. Thank you. I'M thinking we do uh, maybe like a two to a one on the sides and then maybe just a slight trim off the top one. We are here at Barbers, surgeon's Guild in the heart of Beverly Hills known to be one of the most expensive cities in La this place is pristine. It has a five-star rating and the haircuts cost from 100 to a thousand dollars right now, let's get a quick before of my hair, all right. How is it that you guys, you know, came up with this man uh, so our main doc, Dr Rome, he uh had the idea of kind of bringing back the history of Barbers and surgeons to be in the same place: okay, um, because we do a lot Of hair restoration, stuff wanted a comfortable spot for men to come in and, like maybe get a haircut, but if they had questions about any hair loss or anything like that, got it possible spot for them to hang out awesome, really awkward. Doctor'S office yeah theater swinging yeah, it's not a solid place to be most definitely I'm already feeling comfortable as it is. I mean this chair is super nice as well. Yeah we got the old school chairs old school Vibe. Even our mirrors are vintage. I like it. I like it, everything in here has really been thought out meticulously. It'S okay, yeah dude, it's just a cool shot. It'S a Cool vibe! It'S really relaxed like a lot of shots. We have a bunch of time that we can take to block out a lot of time instead of trying to get through a 15-20 minute haircut. Yeah push through. You got plenty of time. Man, if you want to sit here, relax have a whiskey. Have a coffee talk about what you want to do with the hair yeah, then we have to hang out for a little bit after guys, yeah, we got the whole time anything you need. How long have you been cutting for all my life? Your whole life Wow. You love it. It allows you to meet new people. Absolutely. I should like start wearing my hair, like this. You know, well, I would say, maybe thicken and cream thickening cream, thickening cream or waxing cream. I try to go for like a very like natural, yet like homeless, Justin Bieber life, Justin Bieber. I remember when she used this package here. He always used to do that. Yeah I've gone through like all the hairstyles I've had a buzz cut. I had a mohawk had a lineup, I had a fade. You know everything in the book like if you look in the book of like barber shops, I'm probably in there page 57 somewhere, I can go with number two like this is now one number two here. I can go with number two up to here directly, okay or you want me to kind of blend it with the red cut. It'S this haircut will last so long, it's just more practical, whatever's, more practical! Then I have a Tesla. So I already like saved the environment so might as well like you know, do whatever is practical. You know what I mean this morning. I woke up hoping to have an amazing day. I brushed my teeth. I stretched and then realized how beautiful it looked outside. Everything was going amazing, but that's until I was leaving my house and realized one thing: I quickly started tapping my pockets. Realizing my wallet was nowhere to be found. I started to panic. If I don't have a wallet, I can't pay for anything. I started to look everywhere in cupboards drawers all around my house and I couldn't find it after all the searching it got me very disappointed and I even started to cry everything seemed like it was going downhill until I heard the doorbell ring I ran downstairs opened Up the door and looked around and no one seemed to be there until I looked down to my feet and realized Exeter had come to save the day. So usually I mean I just kind of just go really short on the sides. Kind of just dial it back, but for the top, I'm kind of thinking maybe just get a lot off of it just because it is looking a little too much so maybe just kind of thinned it out a little bit and then you could go probably like Just kind of short on that size, maybe like a two and then just kind of high up and then just let it kind of blend into the long, hair really and then kind of maybe like a hard part or more of a blended in on both sides. Blended in on both sides more and then you could kind of give it a little bit of texture on top just to give it some kind of what curls. I guess because my hair is kind of it is a little thick and just straight you got a lot of hair. I do, I think, painting that up with help - and I think if we point at this whole thing just to make sure that we get some texture in here and blend that straight in on both sides. We can start there and then we'll hit the pause button. Take a look at it see if there's anything we need to adjust, but I think that's a really good idea sounds good. Let'S get to it right on so how long have you been cutting hair uh, 17 years 17 years wow, I got a lot to do. I started right at 18.. It was actually just something to do while I put myself through college, okay and then every job that I took sucked in compared kept coming back to Barbara and uh. I just I love it. Man, the people aspect, there's not really a bad day. Yeah people feel better, of course, look better. They feel better. You get a lot of people that uh the longer you cut hair. You learn their kind of life stories in their background most definitely, they had dudes that I started cutting their hair in high school and in the restroom just on break like wow college and stuff. It'S uh, it's really cool man. You build a lot of fun relationships with people and they trust you. So is it just you hear who just cuts the hair? Oh yeah, I'm the main Barber, I'm the the lead Barber here. Okay, definitely be getting some new bodies in here, but we're really picky about the hiring process. Oh yeah, most. Definitely I can't imagine yeah dude. We just want the best of the best. You know it's. We only have three chairs so, instead of a lot of the shops that you go to, that have 15 20 chairs, they can kind of afford to hire whoever they want. But every every aspect of what we do here, whether you're in for the doctor, doing the full Medical Hair, Restoration or talking to our consults. You know our main doctors got 20, something plus years of experience. Our lead tech has 20 something years experience, I'm 17. So, no matter what department you're dealing with you get kind of the best at what we do a lot of the the lead text that we have also do: um scalp camo, oh okay, where like? If you have a problem area, it's kind of bugging you a little bit, it's not as full as you want. Instead of using that uh topic powder yeah I've seen that everybody we put dots on your scalp, oh okay, permanently. Well, they last like up to seven years or something but well that's good, though yeah it stays there long enough that it makes your hair look fuller without having to go through the full, robotic hair restoration, but we also do PRP injections. So what is PRP injections? So prps are um it's basically, we run your own blood through a centrifuge, oh uh, separate the growth proteins and then uh that kind of stuff, the plasma um. And then we inject that wherever we need any sort of Love on the hairline got it. They are really surgeons here. It looks great so far, though, a little undercut. Oh, it's cold, a little coldy. Are you? Okay? How do you uh do the tips here by the way? Is it like electronical, you can add to your credit card or give a cash either way got it. You deserve a big tip. I love your energy. Thank you, of course. You know at first I was scared, but now I'm feeling comfortable, we'll say that you know the style you kind of go for is kind of like big Blends. It'S like the same. That'S what we do all day, long with cops mostly man's hair, yeah men's haircuts, and you have to do that yeah. I know this is uh, looking fantastic already, so you just take little bit. Okay and you want to warm up the product, see it all matters like in The Styling, because you can get a bad haircut, but then, if it's styled good, it looks good beautiful. Thank you, you're welcome. She definitely faded it all the way up to the top, which I asked her to do. She said it's more practical. If I do that, because I don't have to get a haircut for a while. The only thing is it just doesn't. Look like a fade kind of looks like it's one piece like it just kind of goes all the way down, but not bad at all. I'M actually really really happy overall man, the experience you know talking to her. She had great energy and she got me in and out of the seat in less than 30 minutes. I wonder what Christian's doing at his high rated Barber Shop. You know what I'm saying he's probably spending an hour there talking to the guy they're talking about all these fancy things. This is Simple Man you go in you get in you get out, you get a haircut, that's what you're there for Super Cuts. Baby, stop playing! The length on this spectacular overall from all the reviews I was reading online about this place on Yelp, like it, does not match what they are saying. Everyone was leading one star saying: oh, my God, the place was bad bad service. The haircuts were terrible. Well, I disagree with all you guys. I think it's time to uh meet up with Christian see what he's doing, hopefully he's doing good, I mean I'm sure, he's looking good but real, quick. I also want to get my girlfriend's reaction because it is Valentine's Day and I want to see if she uh, you know likes the cut, I kind of feel bad for your body. Man he's got ta go to. I know I mean I just. I can't wait to see what what he comes out with honestly. You know the general rule not to speak disparagingly against a lot of them, because there are a lot of very good Barbers and very good hairstylists that work at these places. Yep um, the second that they kind of know what they're doing they move to a place where they can go, make a little bit more, where they don't have to work as fast makes sense. It'S not even that their skill level. Isn'T there it's the time that the shop allows them to get that haircut done? That becomes a problem and have you guys ever thought about you know maybe like expanding. We have a second location in New York. Oh okay, yeah we have a Soho location, there's some really great Barbers over there. You might have to go there. Next, it's a cool spot man whenever you're shaving anything, whether it's your face your neck, any part of anything you want hot on there. Okay, I thought it's going to open up the pores, make the shave a lot easier, so I get in here early and I put lavender oil on these every morning. Well, I already smell that. You know we got that on there. We'Re gon na get these shoulders loosened up a little bit yeah this in a whiskey with a hot towel and a massager you're done man yeah. Maybe I should have gone into the whiskey. I don't know. I think I might have to come over here. Just for the massage you I'm telling you I get guys that come in once a week, they don't even need their hair cut. They just want to like sit here. Relax get a massage get a hot towel, it's usually Fridays or Saturdays. When they're done with their week, they don't want to deal with the wife yet or whatever perfect nice. You know what I'm saying the place I got. My haircut at was right around the corner from cool kicks. I come here all the time for my sneakers pranked, my boy Romney, by trying to sell him fake sneakers here one time I just want to see what he thinks of my hair.
