Hi guys welcome to vlogmas numero 3's vlogmas day three okay, i am so so excited because today is inventory day. We got some new hair to restock and our shop, and i was so happy because i got to see the new colors that i ordered and i was so excited to show it off. So here we are just unboxing. Unboxings are so much fun because she's like it's like christmas, all over again, so what's more christmasy than an unboxing inventory, video, hello, so yeah! That'S what you guys see us doing here. This is our mostly luxe hair. This is the hair we primarily use at the salon. Of course, our clients are welcome to bring in their own hair, but we just like to have our own hair that we're comfortable working with that. We trust and we can rely on. We have so many amazing fun colors, for you guys. Um i mean when it comes to the color spectrum, the color the color wheels. You can find it at my shop, mostly logs. Okay, make sure you guys check it out um. I have the link to where you can order some hair below. However, i have not updated this new colors on the website. So when i do that you, you know i'll make an announcement. Maybe on my instagram you guys can order it. We do ship internationally as well, and we also have wholesale so if you're interested in wholesaling just um send me a mail to braydon's club gmail.com, and i would give you more details on our wholesale program and yeah. You guys, i'm just um, showing you guys. Some of the colors - this is like my favorite color. This is like eight six, thirteen slash um. What do you call it? Um orange ombre, and it's so pretty like videos and pictures did not even do it justice. That'S how wild - and this is my unicorn, like hello, unicorn, vibes, mint vibes, so many unique colors and um these. This is the girls. Just you know putting up the colors on the shelf restocking, some of our empty um sections and as well as just rearranging the things and just putting like specific colors in certain places to you know to highlight and contrast other colors. So it's just really really fun day at the salon when it comes to unboxing. So that's all that there is about that, and this is the final look for this particular section. We also have a whole another section to the right that i have not even shown you guys yet, so you guys get to see more color options that we have. Oh there it is huh. I didn't show you guys uh so yeah we have so many more colors anyway. So today today is a fun day at the salon, shalom today's a fun day at the salon. So we did my favorite hairstyle today, like i had major hair crush. I have major hair crush on two hairstyles today: okay and that's very rare, because usually you know how you you, you do hair things get redundant. Maybe we do like box braids for like one week straight and then you get like a client that wants to do something different and unique and fun. And then you like, it's like the highlight of your whole week, but let me tell you i had that one highlight in one day and i was so excited um, so the particular hair that i was crushing on today was this um ponytail braids, which you guys Would see in a little bit and then this um, oh my god, it's actually three hairstyles. It was a ponytail braid. It was a um, silk, um, silk, um extension hair that we used to do box braids and then it was like another knotless braid. But the reason i like the knot braids was because of the color that we use, which is this one. It was this 6 13, 27 and um 1b ombre. So pretty this is like our best seller in terms of like hair extension colors. This hair goes out of stock so quickly. So if you like, this look and you get to see the and the finished look in the end of the video make sure you guys check out my website and then you can order yours, because this hair is so amazing, so soft to touch curls very easily And the color is amazing, so vibrant and oh, my god, the ombre is seamless, um okay, before we even go any further. Let'S just talk about the elephant in the room, because i know you guys are gon na bring it up. Somebody'S gon na mention it in the comment section because you guys did that in my instagram. So let's talk about it um. So how many people are you willing to allow on your head at a time um? What i noticed from this discussion, based on the you know, general consensus in my comment. Sections on instagram is that um people don't like too many people on their head and when i say people i mean americans um. What i realized was that there was this stereotype or this notion going around or superstition going around. That says, you know if you have many people in your head at one time, is bad luck, um, i'm here to tell you that that's a lie! Your life would be, if you have bad luck, you have bad luck. Okay, it's not by how many people you have on your head. Some of you guys have not had more than one person in your head and you see how bad look. So, let's just be real, let's go experience, i'm sorry, i have to say it. Somebody has to tell you it doesn't matter um. What i would say is that for people that do like that - which we do do, that a lot here in africa, a lot of braiding shops. We have more than one people in your hair and if you also go to other braiding shops in outside of the country in the u.s, you also have more than one people in your hair, because i worked at one before and it you know we did do That we did the same thing so um. I don't know where you guys got that from um, but please get it. Thank you very much um. So uh yeah people value time. You know they want to save time. Nobody wants to sit in a salon for nine hours at the time anymore. I'M sorry, um the world is moving forward. Time is precious. You know thank thanks to kovid. You get to realize that you know your time is valuable. Life is valuable. So why would you want to spend six seven hours sitting in a salon for hair when you have the option to you know knock that time down to four hours. So why not? Okay um! But let me know your thoughts in the comments section because um i genuinely am curious to see why people feel like this. If it's just because of the superstition, i generally okay, another another point, somebody else brought up was that um, because not everybody braids the same, and i'm here to tell you i'm here to tell you at least for my salon. I can only speak for my salon. Um, we all braid the same and i'll. Tell you why. We have a method that we braid here for every hairstyle. We have a technique and a method, and because of that it has allowed us to be able to braid in as one so. You will not be able to tell your left from your right side, because my braiders communicate with each other. I don't have one of those brilliant shop where the girls are not allowed to speak to themselves. They talk to each other, they communicate and they work together. So it's it's definitely doable um. So that's not something that should keep you up at night. That'S not something that you should worry about, because we at least at my shop, i'm gon na, say my salon. We work very very well together, and this is not a problem. You know and they're also very well trained and they're very well experienced. So they understand you know if one person is doing one thing on the left, we catch it. Hey, if you wanted like this lizard like this, when we fix it, you know so we're not gon na. Have you walking out around here, looking like a question mark not gon na happen, not on my watch at least and i'm watching like a hulk. Okay, so not on my salon, um, but that's just. I just wanted to clarify that and let's talk about it um. So this is the final result for the uh knotless braid that we did. This was like the medium size, um but length braid so cute. I love the color, she chose she used our music's hair and you guys we have so many colors, oh my god, and then this is the beautiful ombre that we did. Ah you guys hair crush by the way. Let me just also give a disclaimer. The lighting in my salon is so bad, so bad like so bad it it's. So it annoys me, but honestly, we just had to make it work um, so i've just been managing it eventually i'll find it. You know a good, better solution, but right now i can't even be bothered to think about it because, ultimately i know when we finish the hair, we take it to the ring light. The ringlet helps us, so you guys can see the final result um, but because the light i have like studio lights, um and it's like literally shining from weird angles. So it hits the hair from like very like flattering lighting. But once you see the final results you get to see that it was all just lighting um, so bit keep that in mind, but um anyways. This is what the hair is looking like after dipped in hot water um. As you can see, this is another team of braiders that worked on this hair as well. This hair is so pretty see how look at the movements now check out the movements like there is braids and they are braids and they are braiders and there is breeders club, okay, oh my god, i should be an emcee hello. Now, as you guys know, this is like my favorite part of doing hair is the final result. The final result where we just you know you get to see your hair and we get to take pictures of your hair. So we can show off your hair and also show how work like this is the icing on the cake for me and look how that color just complements her skin tone so well, it was just so beautiful. I love this combo honestly best decision i made this year was you know this hair, color um, but anyway, so on to the next hair? This is like my number one favorite of the day and i'll tell you. Why is because this hair is so cute by the way this particular hair for this synthetic silky box braid? That you're about to see was gotten from kathleen here and i'll. Show you guys the packaging in a little bit, um kathia here, um she's, another salon owner in lagos, nigeria and she um, and she we usually recommend her silky hair to our clients. Oh there they are just chilling. We usually recommend the silky hair to our clients and they use it and um yeah. We always buy the hair from them. So such an amazing hair, there's so many types of these some brands in nigeria, but we trust her and we recommend her. So if you're, looking for like a silky um nice, you know extension for your braids go to kathleen. She has so many color options. I mean her. Colors are colors. Okay, her colors alone will tell you that she's not coming. She did not come to play. Okay. She really really it's. You know brand out that is well thought out and really considers you know everybody, and you know it's. It'S a beautiful burn um so make sure you guys check that out, and this is the ponytail that would without we did. This is like the slick updo stitch. By the way this hair is being done by just one braider, because it is all you know one person here, as you can see, we have our client with her cushion so that way, she's not hurting her neck guys. This used to be like my biggest pet peeve, when i would do like braided ponytail, looks, was having to bend my head in a salon like it hurts and it's so uncomfortable, and it makes the experience of this style so unpleasant. But thankfully we were able to get ahead of that and provide a cushion for our clients. Yeah. You guys look how cute that is very simple. The design is so simple, but the stitch is so neatly done so well done um and i feel like that's what makes this hairstyle a winner, because it's like less is more and it's like it's cute, but it's not like. Oh i'm trying to be cute. It'S just like effortlessly cute and simple, and just beautiful i don't know if you guys, if you guys, can remember this client um, so we did uh. We did a tutorial with her before uh. This is like a long time ago we did like um individual crochet locks with um dresses a brand. I forgot the brand i forgot, but she's been on my channel before so. If you guys recognize her say: hey girl, uh, she's, back okay. She wears hair so beautifully so cute and she got um our mosaics hair for her look. We did the color 1b slash 30.. Just look at the warm tones just working that gentle ombre all the way down so beautifully um. So yeah you guys. I absolutely love this look at that here, look there's hair and then there's hair. You guys. I apologize for my camera skills because see this is no easy. You like doing all this video in the middle of the salon. It can be so awkward sometimes, but thankfully, like i literally, have to ask every single client: hey. Are you okay for a quote, hey hi? We would like to record your hair. Is it okay and everybody gives us permission, but it's still so awkward. You know because you're, just like holding a camera all day like it's just weird, hmm uh, so we're just putting the finishing touches to the look. You know laying the baby hairs down um, as you saw previously. We use needle and thread to sew the ponytail so that way it stays in place, um and then yeah just doing the baby hairs applying moves. You know extra little touch of hot water, just to lay down some of the hair um, and that is it. You guys this is such a simple summertime look, especially in a place like nigeria, where it's so hot, so you just don't want hair on your neck. You just just do a ponytail and just wrap it up and it's girl so cute, so easy, um and yeah. You guys i'll show you guys the final look and guys, please, please make sure you guys, like the videos, make sure you're commenting make sure you share and um yeah. I really really appreciate it a lot because it's been a while, since i've been on youtube - and i feel like my engagement - has dropped a lot. Obviously um so yeah help you girl out um anyway. So this is what the hair looks. Like so simple, she looks so cute. Look at that stitched, honey, yes, alright! So the final hair that we did um. What'S this beautiful hair? Oh my god, this was the hair. I was raving about by the way the color, the curls the size. Everything just worked together for good, like everything about his hair was a hit. I swear kathleen well done. This hair is top notch top quality like well done. So if you haven't used this type of hair before um, your first experience may be a little bit like whoa but um, because it's very different in terms of like texture, from what we're used to using like expression, braiding hair and such um very different. So it's like more silkier, so you have to be very delicate and you have to be very, like you know, like you, have to braid well enough to where it doesn't slip out, but then you also have to be delicate. So it's just like really it's it's a really really um unique only on its own, and it's like it's been so popular here in nigeria. So i don't know if people use this hair outside of nigeria. I don't know like this type of hair um. So a lot of people wear a lot of people wear the same ninja. Oh, my god, a lot! Everybody where's this everybody. If you've lived in nigeria, you probably want this hairstyle at least once in your lifetime and um yeah. It'S allowed it's a rather. You know right of passage to nigerianism africanism yeah. This hair is is so cute and i i get it like. I understand like it's it. It speaks for itself. It'S such a look, so i get it even myself. I'Ve won mine once um from katlia as well. Actually um and i really enjoyed it, it was so effortless and very light. Oh my god can we talk about how light this hair is because you guys, when i wore this hair. It'S like. I didn't, have anything on my head, anything on my head. It felt so light and so effortlessly. Just i think, with this hair is like it does its own thing, like the curls. Does its own thing. The lightness of the hair, like it just falls like it falls on your face so light like. I don't know how to explain it. It doesn't feel like you have weight on your hair, but if it looks so good like it's like effortlessly lightweight and it's just like it just curls like it just it just does its own thing. It'S super cute. I love this hair. The look, let me just say that um i like the way she kept her shorts um. So she came in and you know her hair is short. Hair is not that short, but um. She didn't want the long version of this. A lot of people usually keep it long, but she wanted hers to be short and mid-back, so we had to cut it and she also wanted us to cut it in a v-shape. So that's what you see um gift doing. This is gift with the scissors. That'S what you see her doing: she's cutting the hair into the layers that the client requested and it looks so much better. Like i love the short look, i don't know why i never thought of like getting mine short, but it looks really really nice when it's short, it actually looks better when it's short to me, it just looks it makes sense. It kind of reminds me of um. I don't know if you guys, i think, moisha used to wear it like from the tv show for brandy. She used to wear hairstyles like this in the beginning, seasons of like malaysia, and this is yeah. This is like a throwback like it's. You know all like, and i feel like it's just everything like all the old styles hairstyles old school things are coming back and i feel like this is another example of like you know, old school looks coming back to you know to style, so so after you're Done curling it just take a serum okay, don't take any heavy oils. Just take. You know the serum that we use like olive oil serum that we use for our hair, like your bundles, before you like flat ironing to blow dry those serums, rub it in your hands and apply it on the hair and just twirl it when you twirl it. It gives you this nice spiral, curl um, but yeah. I don't use anything heavy on this, just that serum works perfectly, especially with kathleen's hair, so good um. So that's what we used and here is gorge. Ah, you guys hair crush of the day like i had to save this. For last. I'M sorry, if you clicked out of the video, you missed a good part, but this was the cheese anyways. I hope you guys enjoyed this um series of tutorials. Do you guys, like these videos this way or do you rather me, go back to like my one look per videos thing, but i just thought, maybe because this vlogmas might as well do something different. But let me know your thoughts. Thank you guys so much for watching make sure you, like the video thumbs it up comment subscribe, share the video and i'll catch you guys in my next video have a merry day and a happy holidays. God bless bye.

Bonny P.: Because your rates are so reasonable and the fact that you can do a complete braided hairstyle in less than 20 hours (yes, I said it), I need to book a flight to Nigeria NOW. It would be well worth it. Such professionalism, respect for your client's time, etc. - - these things are so rare in US salons for ethnic hair. A person can spend 7 hours in a salon for a simple relax and cut. Braids would be and all day/all night event with the stylist eating, talking on phone, etc.

sheilaw1983: I live in the U.S. and I love multiple people doing my hair. I get done faster that way. I request two braiders as soon as I sit in the chair and would be thrilled to have more. That ombre style and the silky hair are my favorites.

lacey kanda: I just need this kind of service but in Canada sis, because you ladies work your asses off and I can see that you guys are fast, professional and detail oriented!! Much love and respect from a fellow Continental African abroad ‍♀️‍♀️

Hannah N: Nothing will stop me from getting my hair done by you when I come back home. U guys are an all star team.

Mz Gwen 🌎: I love the work and how you ladies are in unison. Absolutely beautiful!

Ronda Lomax: On another note, the burgundy braids on the braiders hair, are gorgeous!

Jessica Fianko: Hi Merry and Ladies, Hope you all had an amazing week. Wow that hairstyle looked good even though I know you all must have been exhausted after that time. Sending you all so much love as always

Donna Doug: Beautiful work!!! All the ladies did an Amazing job!!!

Sonya Jones: It's a superstition that we grew up with, I am 53 yes old and was taught that as a liite girl, funny thing is even though we complain about the time in the chair with one braider, we will not let more than one person in our hair at a time... We basically don't schedule anything else for that day because we know we will be there all day. It's an African American thing thats taken serious... Some people laugh about it...

Tam Ril: This is how it goes down in Ghana, I’m American, whenever I visit Africa at least 3 to 4 people in my hair. You are done in no time.

Camille Rose: Im so inspired thid was all well done lving the colors huny and im amazed at how well the women work together no fuss very different atmosphere of culture much respect. I want micros so bad but i haven't found a shop in america

solobolo: I would love to invest in your business if you ever open a shop in the USA. I remember growing up in Los Angeles and all the beauty supply owners were African owned. Only now you see Asian owners. I would love to see more of this in America! Keep up the amazing work ladies!

Bridget Richardson: I live in California, USA and I wish I could find a shop that has more than one braider!!

Alexis K: I would love to get my hair braided by milt people ! It would get done so much faster haha

Gwendolyn Reed: 4 hours is better than 9 hours in the salon. Business is business. Work smarter not harder. Bravo ladies !!!!!!

JONES2: beautiful work, ladies!

santuaryhowler: I didn't know about the superstition of having bad luck if more than one person is in your hair at once. I generally don't like it, because from my experience, anytime more than one person has been in my hair I always end up with different parts, lengths and thickness. It just never look cohesive.

Kingdom Blessings!: Beautiful work… sooo happy for you! I watched you from being a living room stylist to you having a braid shop. Truly blessed ❤️

TheArtofBeingReacts: Love the uniforms! Beautiful Styles!

Chakalate Thunder: I would cry my eyes out with that many people braiding my hair if I had some

Chandra Brown: Hello, beautiful ladies. First I want to start off by saying. Congratulation on your business. It looks very clean. And just to see blacks working together.

Althea Prince: When you braids hair I love to see the beauty keep it up don't make no one stop you from fulfilling your dreams

TARA TELLZ: LOVING the 3 looks in the video! Can you please do a video dedicated to Traction Alopecia braid styles. Blessings

SaKatherine Johnson: Yep it really is an old score moesha look I agree with the curly end of the hair

Fuchsfarben: Big agree on that ponytail, it looks so good

reb loves nails: Loved this video, I really like this vlog style. Keep it up!

Sarah Smith: I love your work, but no two hands are alike! Ive had two braiders before and I didn't like the experience( it was smothering, pushing and pulling), and I didn't like all the conversation around my crown. To each their own though. Beautiful braid work.

Maya Walker: very proud of you! Be blessed

Noel Truesdale: That's an old saying that I heard when I was a little girl about 8 or 9 yrs old and I'm 62, so I'm sure it's not true that you shouldn't have more than a couple of people in your hair. I love the fact that your should get it done in just a few hours, I wish you were here in the states (Los Angels, CA) Lol

Chandra Brown: Hello, You ladies are the best !! I support use working together

blackgirlmagic: I'm ready to come to Nigeria!

Ms Sneak’s Life Pearson: Hello I love your braids congratulations on you salon I watched your Journey and look where your at ❤️

Lamanda _M: Hey I love what you did with the video❤truly amazing I enjoyed it

Parents Voice: I always wished this would happen. But the salon girls refused.

Azia'sEuphoria: Ive had two people doing my box braids at the same time i don’t mind it.

Not Me But You: Of course, to each his own, but I can't stand more than one person doing my hair. I've had it done before, and each person is pulling and tugging in different directions. I have locs now and generally retwist my own hair. But, I've been through the box braid phase so I know it can be very time consuming.

Djenny Vilcuis: Olá. Vocês são fabricados? Gostaria de saber mais informações. Muito bonito o trabalho de vocês.

God's Chosen: You guys are the bom!!! These are so beautiful

Phyllis Wyllie-James: For me personally I cannot have so many people braiding my hair it's a spiritual reason for me. I do like your work and how you do braids.

charms: Some people may be claustrophobic or don't like to many people in their space.

Adorable sweetie exotic dance wear: You ladies do beautiful braiding how can I make an appointment?

Sanny Bell: All the styles were good but the last one for me

Camille Rose: I love this style video its so nice to watch

Gwendolyn Reed: Yeah that looks lovely !!!!!

Christine Williams: I agree Less time in the chair is KEY to me.

annie lewinson: I love the team work

Jarita Campbell: Beautiful!!

lovely ladyt: Gorgeous

sonora latimore: Hairstyles are beautiful

Therapybynature: Love this

rachel ramsey: I really want to come to you guys and get my hair did. I agree with everything u said about it being bad luck for more than one person to do ur hair i dont agree with that and when you get braids it makes more sense to me to have more than one person braiding cause i for one dont like to be at the salon for no 7 or 8 hours no. Thats why i dont like to go

Sanny Bell: All nice styles but the last one for me

Than: Can you please link the curly extensions?

kelley Turner: Hi Thank You for the beautiful braids. So beautiful. What is the name of the hair you were talking about and can you recommend anyone is Los Angeles area. God Bless.

Christabel Boatemaa: You are blessed

Nayeonali: I would have three to four doing braids so I don’t mind. But some people have superstitions but I will say if someone has multiple stylist that’s fine but if one stylist doesn’t know what their doing and doesn’t know someone’s hair history they can definitely damage the clients hair. So yes braids for sure if you can do 10 clients in a days With four or more that’s more money and someone would come to you over one stylist their seating with for 9 hours.

comfort Emedoh: Where are guys located in Lagos? Just saw this channel. Good job.

Ronda Lomax: Invest in razors! That would have been much easier, softer and prettier.

Linda hines: thats ok the braids look neat and very professional I hate braids done at home home dos.

God's Chosen: I love them all

PEACE: Love it

Shirley Bedford: Looks Great

Brown Kym: Love ❤️

Pamela Brown: Love It

God's Chosen: Especially the blond curls

rere nomad: ive never heard that before that too many people in your hair is bad luck. i have heard that too many cooks in the kitchen....meaning you dont want too many people doing the same thing all at once cause it can mess up. i dont think it applies to hair braiding.

Shantell Turner: More info on your wholesale

- alexia marie: i’m loving this vlogmas sooo far

Luxz Mil: I am a cosmetologist here in the us not being disrespectful or anything but the multiple ppl are unhealthy and can transmit diseases easier you may be like no, but with an open mind notice y'all keep shorter length hair in certain areas because of this an the one who don't participate we see with length don't shoot the messenger I know this too be true even here. so me one set of hands an nine hours too keep years of growth an healthy hair I'll sacrifice you get what you pay for.

Tina Dudley: Girl why you got to be in Africa I need to order hair.
