Hey guys, i have been meaning to do a haircare video since so long. It'S something that i've been seriously into lately and i've been doing a lot of research on hair care, routines and hair masks, and a fenugreek hair mask was something that i was seeing everywhere. Like everybody talks about it because it's said to promote healthy hair and add shine and make your hair smooth and that's exactly the need of the art, because my hair do feel quite frizzy and unruly now i have been trying to save me from products for over A year now - and i was quite happy with the results - and it is also said to contain fenugreek and this one is supposed to be five times more concentrated than your typical hair mask. So it's supposed to be used sparingly. You know a little goes a long way. I was really tempted to try the fenugreek mask and the save me from side by side and see how they to perform together. So i'll quickly show you how i prepared the homemade fenugreek mask just soaking, some fenugreek seeds in water overnight and the next day blending it in into a fine paste and adding one or two tablespoons of coconut oil. Mixing it all together and there you go. It has a very beautiful mapley scent, it's quite relaxing actually, and the texture feels quite slimy it. I do see this turning into a very messy process, though, but i'm quite excited to get started so before i get into the application, i wanted to quickly show you what we have in hand today. These are my third day hair and that's what we are working with today my mid length and ends feel extremely dry lifeless, unruly frizzy, all of the messy terms that you can think of and the roots extremely oily. I'M really wishing to have some nourishment towards the middle length and length and, of course, to get rid of the excess oil that's been accumulated towards the roots. I'M partitioning my hair into two halves now, because i want to try the homemade recipe on one side and the save me from product on the other side, and for that i'm first making sure that my hair are well damp so that the product applies evenly and Easily and starting off with a home recipe, uh, okay, so the first impressions of the homemade mask was definitely not so impressive because as soon as i started, putting it on the mask was like falling off. There was mask all over the place all over the floor. Uh, frankly speaking, i was a bit turned off with the messy affair that was happening, but i was quite excited to see the results, so i made sure to coat my hair really well, i paid special attention towards middle length and the ends, because that's the area That needs a little extra attention, that's a little more deprived of the nourishment and the moisturization. So having done that, i am now ready to proceed to the next half. On the other side, i'm using the save me from now. This comes in a variety to address. Various hair concerns today, i will be multi masking with the save me from chemical conflict and product overload. Now, since i have super oily roots, i like to use product overload along the roots, because it helps to take away the excess oil and detoxify the scalp and along the lens, i am using to save me from chemical conflict. Now these have a really concentrated formula. So you need to use a very tiny bit. A little goes a long way best to use it on wet hair with damp hands, because that way you can have the product distributed, really well, i'm starting off the application with the ends, because the ends have definitely endured so much damage with time. So a little extra love here and then i'm working my way up to the roots. Now the best part with these products is that, even if you happen to apply a little more a little more than required, this gets penetrated like skin care. So your hair continue to absorb all the goodness throughout the day. So that's like a bonus now that i have both the sides well covered in mask. I'M gon na tie my hair wear a short cap and let it sit overnight. Okay, so it's next day and i shampooed and conditioned my hair as usual, i'm using a tiny bit of the save me from thermal obsession hair mask now and using it as a leave-in conditioner, again just a tiny bit starting off from the ends and working. My way up, this also acts as a heat protectant. So on days, when i'm blow drying or heat styling, my hair, i don't need any additional heat protectant. This does the job. Well, i love the fact that these products are so versatile. You could use them as an overnight treatment or a pre shampoo treatment, sometimes like a leave-in, conditioner heat protectant or between washes to freshen up the scalp or even to tame those flyaways, while you're styling your hair, and now that my hair are completely air dried. It'S time to compare the results. Both the sides definitely feel so soft and so silky. I did notice a few points over here. If you closely observe the ends, the side where i use the homemade mask doesn't look very. Even it doesn't look well put together, whereas the side where i use the save me from looks much more tamed. It just looks more nourished. The ends definitely look more shinier more healthier. Now, when i move to the mid length, the side where i use the homemade mask definitely looks super frizzy and that's not something i was aiming for, whereas the side where i used to save me from looks much less frizzy, more nourished and much more manageable. I also noticed that, on the side where i use the save me from the natural wave of my hair was quite well defined, so yeah there you see the homemade hair mask and the save me from hair mask i'm now going to move ahead and blow dry. My hair, as i would usually do and we'll come back and see how the results compare so there i have my hair nicely blow dried and i'm quite loving how they feel right now and as a final step. I'M using a tiny bit of the save me from pollution assault so that my hair is done and a quick little recap of the comparison the homemade mask did feel quite elaborated and messy. It doesn't really match my busy lifestyle, so that was a bit of a turn off the side where i applied. The save me from definitely felt much more manageable. The ends felt so nourished. Look of the hair was much more tamed and manageable, whereas on the side where i had the homemade mask looked super frizzy and yeah. The results are right in front of you. So in my opinion i am definitely not switching and you guys. Let me know what you think in the comment section below: do you like a more traditional approach like a homemade recipe, or would you like to go in for something more convenient and more effective? I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you for watching bye.
