Indian Hair Growth Secrets: Daily Massage #Shorts

SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE! Lots of hair content in the works :)

Sharing my top tips to prevent hair loss and make your hair GROW!! I lost about half my hair at the beginning of 2019 and made it my mission to grow it back and figure out what works! (I literally felt like I was balding ) Hopefully it helps anyone else struggling with hair loss ❤️

1. Massage your scalp with oil before washing (as shown in video), and massage your scalp with just your fingers or hair brush every night before bed. Scalp stimulation is key to bringing hair follicles back to life! I got this oil from Sephora (bought it myself) and I’m currently loving it cause it has all the good active ingredients and a really amazing floral scent that makes me want to use it!

2. Make sure you’re eating enough protein

(including 2 eggs a day)! I try to aim for 40g of protein per day. Also, healthy fats like avocados and almond butter are amazing for hair and skin!

3. I think supplements played a big part in my hair growing back! I take iron, biotin, ashwaganda, amla, and bhringraj! Iron deficiency could be a reason that your hair is falling, so get your blood checked! Biotin is amazing for your hair, skin, AND nails. And the remaining 3 are Ayurvedic pills that have MANY benefits including stopping hair loss!

4. I’m also convinced my hair fall was related to moving into a new apartment and the level of toxins in the shower water. I would buy a water filter off Amazon—be sure to protect your hair and skin by showering with the purest water possible!

5. Be super gentle with your hair and NEVER brush it while wet! (Your hair is much weaker when wet) Also, don’t over-wash your hair! If you can, only wash your hair once a week.

Okay, guys, i'm gon na smell some indian hair secrets just this one time. So if your hair is falling, i got you in 2019, i lost nearly half my hair and i was able to go back using these techniques, one of them being ayurvedic, hair, massages, ancient indian ayurveda that talks about certain pressure points that, when pressed on massage cause Massive amounts of hair growth, the first spot is eight fingers above your brows. It is your center of yogic, spiritual healing, so massaging this point helps massively with hair growth and if you have a premature receding, hairline or bald patches near your forehead, misogynist pressure point helps cure it. The second point is 12 fingers above your brows ayurveda calls this the skull spot and it's the highest point on your body due to gravitational pull. It receives the least amount of blood flow. So that's why balding starts at the skull spot. The final pressure point lies four fingers above the nape of your neck. It'S crucial to massage, if you spend a ton of time in front of the computer being this high up, the point doesn't receive as much oxygen and nutrition carried by the bloodstream tilting your head makes the blood rush to your scalp, nourishing, hair follicles and making them Grow more hair secrets on my instagram bye

I_M: Head massage points beneficial in hair growth: 1)8 fingers above the eyebrows 2)12 fingers above the eyebrows (at highest point of the body) 3)4 fingers from the nape of your neck Thank me later!!

Shreyaaa: I'm an Indian too and i honestly never realized it wasn't common around the world to do that. Our mothers would massage our hair once a week like that, it's almost as if it's embedded in the culture and it feels so relaxing too.

Lady Scarlette: I don't know about the hair growth thing, but massaging the points she shows feels so nice, I just took down my high pony and it it feels so good.

lookingatdaisies: If you're losing hair suddenly, I recommend going to the doctor to have your blood levels checked. Iron/zinc/vitamin d deficiency can cause hair loss. And at that point it may mean critical organs in the body are barely getting nutrients so your body is taking it from your nutrients that would be left over for your scalp and follicles. Edit, other tests: - Serum Ferritin (iron stores) - Serum b12 - Serum Folate - Thyroid Hormones - Biotin Deficiency * Note biotin supplements can result in the wrong reading for certain tests for thyroid, testosterone etc. So stop taking approx three days to your test. Edit 2: I've been replying to your comments but YouTube seems to be blocking them? So I just want to say good luck on your recovery journeys! I'm trying to fix my anemia as well. We can do it!

Shikha Shandilya: another important thing to know about sudden hairloss. if it's not a hormonal thing, you should ABSOLUTELY check your sleep cycle. Sleep deprivation causes insane amount of hairfall. Also, take Vitamin B7, B9 and vitamin D. Apart from that, oil your hair regularly with coconut oil. I mean drench it with it. Hope this helps.

Potential Pop: I really love keeping my hair long and I would never allow my mom to trim them short ever since I was young. My hair were thick and healthy during school time but in the last few years my hair density has reduced to almost half maybe even more. It's absolutely horrifying to see my hair fall in a bunch every time I wash them or comb my hair. I will try this method, hoping it works

Karolina: Every time my hair starts falling out more I make sure to eat nuts/seeds, a lot of leafy greens and lean protein every day and take vitamins for hair growth and the combo always helps

Lina Lee: After having covid i literally lost 65 lbs from the stress on my body because I'm a covid long hauler . I then lost about 60% of my hair. It is much thinner but its growing back a lot thank God! I'm going to try this cuz it still feels thin around my hair line but I have tons if growth there too. This can't hurt!

Keara Dunne: This is the same as using a scalp stimulator! Using it on these points will help a lot stimulate the blood flow to heal the hair follicles

Amy Elizabeth: Actually I in my older years, couldn't figure out why my hair was getting so thin, and starting to fall out. More over dealing with dandruff. Came to realize I needed to start putting coconut oil on my scalp and letting it absorb for an hour, while massaging into scalp. Then I started her massaging techniques, as well as washing my hair in very cold water. Don't brush your hair while it's wet! Put your hair in braids while you're sleeping. End result in the year 2021; my hair is almost down past the middle of my back. I still have some thinning but my hair has never been this long...EVER! I am now 47. I started doing these things about 3 years ago. Thank you for the massaging tips!

Lille Prut: I lost half my hair in 2019-2020 as well wutttt. I think it's growing back out but imma try this, any self massage is good for me to take ♡

Ashish Sunny: I was 22 when I started losing my hair...now at 25 nearly bald... No Aayurveda can reverse it, because I'm a patient of SLE now... There's no cure or reversal

Rebecca Hong: This is actually true! Massaging/rubbing the scalp will stimulate the growth of hair and cause it to grow faster. For example, when someone takes their cast off, there is usually longer hair growing on their arm/leg ect. This is caused by the constant friction from the cast rubbing or essentially "massaging" the skin.

Ari: Wow, I've loved this video, I've been struggling with hair loss for some months and this video seems very helpful

Moth Sterling: Eating lots of nuts/nut butters, things with lots of healthy oils and proteins, can really help hair growth as well!

Mora Ocampo: Thank you bestie my gringa genes are acting up because I have huge holes in my hair on my forehead. Indian tricks for hair are the best! Ever since I started following them my hay-hair is looking better than ever before

taetae's lipstick: One cause could be telogen effluvium, which happens after two or three months of recovering from covid. It stops after a while and it's natural however taking healthy and balanced diet with a good hair routine can Speed up the process.

daniela marquez: Thank you for this. I'm quarter Indian but I happen to be the only one with hair like yours in the family. Lifesaver tips honestly!

i me myself: Include all the steps and that's what we call Indian Head massage. It triggers all the pressure points simultaneously. Do it once a week with choice of your hair oil. Leave overnight and rinse next Day ❤️

Shanya Pierre: I'm not sure about the points she mentioned. But one time I decided to do scalp massages everyday just because I kept hearing about them on natural hair videos. I never had an issue with hair growth/loss so I wasn't paying attention or obsessing over whether I noticed growth or not. But at one point i noticed my hair being way longer than usual at a shorter time frame. It was a wild moment. I'm not saying this method is pure facts, but it doesn't hurt to try. Also make sure you pay attention to what you do for your body like diet and exercise, as that impacts your hair as well.

esther mumba: Hair growth is about genes ,I have seen ppl who don't take care of their hair but it grows so fast Nutrition also play a part

Lexi Jayyy: I grow my hair at half an inch to 1 inch a month and this is true I've always massaged my hair like this for hrs at night

Mandira Rai: I massage these points and I didn't even know they had a purpose lmao. I am Indian and have seen enough people massaging those points when oiling their hair so I just picked up on it. It feels really good tho.

Naroa Canalo: That is why I love going to the Thai Massage. They massage your entire head so well! ‍♀️

Francis Giraffe: So all the headaches I've been having are just my special secret spots asking to be rubbed so I don't lose hair. Nice and convenient.

bee: i tried four finger from the back of my head and the massage FEELS SO GOOD

Sailor Arwen: I started losing my hair after being prescribed escitalopram for anxiety. I lost almost half my hair in less than 2 months. The doctor wanted to do all kinds of blood tests but I stopped taking the pill and my hair stopped falling out within a couple days. I even got a bald spot near my forehead. My hair is growing back but it sure takes longer to grow back than it does to lose it

narmata: I do this twice in a week with coconut oil ☺️

Rina Mallick: Guy's I don't know that after messaging our hair will grow or not but brooo literally it feels soooo relaxing I'm feeling so good

Navya Saini: Yeh it very true... My grandma used to tell me this techniques for better growth of my hair

Kay Ka Nut: I realized like a month ago I had a random bald spot, luckily it can be hidden pretty easily but it's right above my right ear so I can't wear my hair in a high pony which Idk if it's a blessing or a curse. I was under tons of stress when it happened but Idk if that's why. The scary part is it's still smooth, no prickly hair growing back. My Dr said if nothing changes in the next 2 months I can try steroid shots into the spot but I'm going to try this! I told him I was massaging the bald spot area to stimulate hair growth and he told me to not touch it. Idk but I watch a lot of hair videos and have always heard it helps hair growth... My Dr didn't send me for blood work or anything either, after reading more comments I feel like he's an idiot!

zzyz: I'm ready to try anything atp and I don't think gentle head massages do any harm so I'll try this out

R H: These points for me always feel hot and they absorb oil like crazy when I apply coconut oil. Almost like they are thirsty May be I should start oiling and massaging my head more !

Khushi: You got it girl✨

Birdy Tayshus: Wonderful message. Beautiful young lady. Thank you!

notur_bella J: I think so the reason I have no hair left on my skull after the last two yrs is 1. Not combing it 2. Not washing it often 3. No trimming/ saloon time 4. Straightening/ heat damage 5. No oiling/mask

A.B. Cooper: Even if this doesn't work, it still feels nice so thanks for the tip!

Noor: Okay I don’t know if someone mentioned this already in the comments, but i wanna know for how long should I Massage every spot and how many times in a week or so

Jaclyn Cruz Miller: W/kinky curly dry hair…..exacerbated matting occurs IMMEDIATELY once massaging‍♀️ Thanks for the tips ❣️

AJ Leon: I tried this and its kinda relaxing just wow hahahahaha ❤❤

Belinda Goodwin: Be careful with to many oils on the head for as good as some of them can be they can also be harmful to. Causing clogged follicles and stopping hair growth as well as balding

Bora: I have been massaging these spots with instinct for years. Just because it feels good

Arya: Thank You for sharing tips of hair fall Its really helpful. Its been over a year since my hair started falling out (more than 100 a day) , and I even can't comb through my hair ,i always have tie it or else hair will be all over my room. Gonna try your tips Thanks.

Megha Dutta: I am from india and my mom massages my hair whenever she puts oil

S N: No massage is going to help you if your IRON STORAGE is low. Normal iron test doesn't detect the deficiency. DO THE IRON STORAGE TEST BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. I did mine and started taking Sangabion . It worked.

Journey to Success: I know that massaging with oil is really good for the hair growth

Clara: I tried the bac of head massage!! Felt soooo Gooood!!

Saumya Mehndiratta: I'm so glad someone talked about marmas. It's true, marma therapy works for everything❤❤

Priyanka Talks: Being Indian I too didn't know that finger technique ..thanks

Anelisa Morgan: Take biotin supplements. Not just good for your hair but is also good for the skin too.

Sudharani Kb: No idea about doing it just at those 3 spots buy most of us INDIAN do massage our head whenever we oil/do chumpy. Massaging the scalp after oiling then taking head bath, after 1 hours to few hours or leaving overnight is a very common practice.

mickey: How long do you massage each spot? What kind of oil should be used?

Immy B: Thank you, you look stunning

denisa bacuieti: I have problems with hair loss since last year of highschool because of stress and since then my sleeping schedule changed drastically. I saw a video also made by an indian woman. She said to boil cloves and black cumin and spray it on my hair. I did that and from the first time of using it, my hair stopped falling. The downside is that it only works while you do it. Like you can't do it a month and then solve the problem. When I stop using it my hair starts to fall next time I wash my hair. But still I recommend you should try. Maybe is different for you. I cannot put coconut oil because, to me, it causes painful pimples on my scalp. Same thing if I apply cocnut oil on my face, acne starts to form. Idk why. I mean I have an abnormal amount of sebum. Even my neck and back gets oily and the pimples on my back are at another level. They are so painful.

gulzar fathima: god bless for sharing such a worthy information

NANDINI: Idk about regrowth of hair .. but these head massaging tips are really good ..

Gopinath Chinnama: Thank you for showing this I will show it to my sister cuz her hair is falling alot

Sam: VERY skeptical. You will loose a lot of hair during certain parts of the year and your hair changes every 6-7 years which can include hair loss and/or growth. If you have a crap diet or are under insane stress, your hair can fall out too. It can then grow back when you’ve recovered/improved.

Zoya Islam: I also have same kind of hair ( wavey)

Vanshika_visitendless: Just assume tht you've to massage in your head so just take ur index and middle finger and massage at gap of 2 finger above the ear's upper part and do for just 2 mins both of the sides and it will helps to grow hair length and thickness of the hair.

mixerwhisperer: in a south indian household, I take oil hair baths and oil is a must to apply in these spots and is massaged, I didnt know they had actual scientific reasons

Bunni Brains: My hair looks super thin so I definitely need to try this._.

Lesley Kruijt: That second pressure point is literally the exact spot where I have a dent in my skull (no, nobody knows how it got there)

shiv shankar sharma: Idk about these pressure points but an indian mom's hair massage is the best feeling

Dogs world: It’s very basic in everyday routine but we do oil message in scalp not so technicality required jus check indian head massage it’s super simple and we do it before 2-3 hrs of shampoo or overnite even we use different oils as per season

Val Zeppelin: Sometimes massive hair loss is because of a Fungal, or Bacterial infection on the scalp. Everyone naturally has fungus, yeast, and bacteria on their scalp, sometimesit just gets out of hand. Most people don't notice. Regular shampoo doesn't help, and the human stuff is not only expensive, but it also works on only one thing at a time. Just buy some antifungal and antibacterial dog shampoo, on Amazon for like $15... When I lost 3/4 of my hair in 2 weeks, I knew something was wrong. So I used this shampoo and my hair started growing back within a week. 2% Chlorhexidine, 1% Ketoconazole. The PetHonesty brand one smells like watermelon. I'm not a doctor or medical professional. Maybe ask your doctor... This is just what I did. It worked wonders though. In covid times, getting a doctor appointment is not only pricey, but can take weeks for non-emergency primary care doctors. Plus adding the cost of the meds, time from work, and tests. A doctor wasn't really an option. I was already eating well and was taking multivitamins, so I wasn't deficient in anything, or stressed. This was my only other option, after I weeded out all other things it could be. That shampoo cleared it all up, my hair is fully grown in and is thicker now. There are other brands, I just chose this one.

Fred A: My goodness, such great hair.

Somi Khawaja: Thank you

Mascarade time!: Because of covid I contracted back in August in November about 3 months later my hair is falling out like I've never seen in my life I think I've lost 70% of my volume it's scary I had what they called long covid or long all covid and my hair is just starting to slow down the fall I will try this anything will help at this point

Zai Hyritte: Stress is the main cause of hair loss.

Carolyn Talbot: I did this for 10 whole minutes and my hair doesn't look like yours. Pfft! You're very beautiful, by the way:-)

Lisa Davis: How long should you massage these points? 5 minutes?

Bird Girl: Pressure points don't matter, just get your fingers or a shampoo brush and go ham on your scalp every day. Also slap on a generous amount of hair mask while doing it, your scalp needs to be moisturised like any other parts of your skin.

Heather Stewart: Girl I like her how do you make her hair grow that's cool I love it

Maree Petro: Me massaging my head rn: ‍♀️✨

OneWeek Rain: Many factors lead to hair loss, message CAN help, however health hair starts from within your body. Nothing you put on your hair will make you hair truly health. A proper diet and vitamins will help. Also not pulling the short straw on genes. Why message works; it causes blood flow to the area and increases the amount of nutrients given to the hair follicle and bulb. If you are already getting the right amount of nutrition then message will work well. Why message doesn't work all the time. Genes are a big factor, some people can have genetic hair loss. There are meany forms of alopecia, aka hair loss, that are not helped by message or stimulating the area. Stress can also be a large reason. Other than that, medications, illnesses and radiation can cause hair loss. Remember your hair grows from nutrients, so if you are sick you brain and body will divert those nutrients to other places, causing hair loss. After all, your body doesn't see hair as a necessity, so it will always be the first to go. In short always seek medical advice when hair loss becomes noticeable to you. Some lose can be fine, but if you are losing a lot, then it could be something more. :3

Lil' Mama: How long should be massaging each stop every day ?

samuri2011: Consistency is most important tho. If you don't do this consistently often, you won't see any results.

Jyoti Yadav: My mother has been doing this to me for my entire life-

Amit: The first point is where the final chakra point. In English that point is called Thousand-pateled lotus and in Sanskrit it is called Sahasrara

Aria Frost: Do you use oil on your hair as well?

miyoshiho: I would still recommend going to a doctor and doing a blood test. For me it turned out i had problems qith my thyroid which resulted in hair loss, I'm taking now hormone tablets everyday. Go to the doctor before it's too late

Eliza Fischer: Your hair is soooo pretty❤️❤️❤️

Shariya Naeem: I massage all these points since childhood

ananya verma: It's good to see fellow Indians have knowledge about our glorious past and science

IKaRu: You hair is everything I ever wanted

khushbu fatima: Woaahhh. Best piece of information got today. ❤️

Elisabeth Hagerman: Thank you for sharing!

Aditi Mishra: Definitely needed to know about this

Jordan Sefton: Hair loss doesn’t always start at your crown… one of the many mistruths of this video

doodlingthenerves: I'm an Indian and I've never seen someone doing this thing aka "Indian Hair Secret" LOL

Alexandra Nietes: As filipino i dont have secret just dont wash your hair that much and dont use conditioner better use coco milk dont comb your hair massaging are time consuming and hair and my hair is so thick like as much as 4 people has

He Saaah: Thats why go get professional massage guys! Let the therapist massage ur scalp! I love doing it to my clients! Specifically my male clients! They love it

butterfly rose: Indians always have good hair it's their genes

Ashleigh Little: It feels great

Nicole: I've been losing my hair this past year.. I'll try anything at this point
