Dddd hello to all the hair besties in the lab. What are you you look like ariana grande, hey, you're, so pretty? Oh, my god yeah! I have not seen Angie and like what two years two years, oh my gosh. It like literally touches your butthole. So you can see that balayage, ombre type of highlight has really lasted we're gon na do to it today something dark. Like gray blue, I'm doing. Oh, my god. Can we head out all off, maybe like that much? How much is that? That'S, like nine inches girl. That'S big 9 inches. Yes, do this! Yes, alright, Angie time to put your body condom on we're, gon na cut it all off, underneath your boob post foods say goodbye. Thank you, goodbye, hair! Okay, are you mad at me? Oh, my god. Are you mad at me? No yeah, how do you feel about your length so good? I literally feel like I lost 10 pounds just gave me a hair liposuction. You see that today we're gon na use big nine to lift Angie's hair because we need to lift it beyond nine levels. Big nine is no joke can handle it. Oh, so I squeezed send a hundred grams of big nine. We are gon na use 40 volume. That'S gon na give us the power to accelerate the lifting process. Why did you wait so long? You have a boyfriend, that's what it is yeah I did. We just broke up, so I need a fresh start. You need breakup, hair single girl sing over. I have if you ever wonder why your clients disappear for a long time. It'S because they got the boyfriend in the back of the guy tang, my dandy, swatch book. This is a natural underlying pigment guide, so it shows you right when Lightner or bleach touched a hair, it turns red on contact and it goes into like this coppery color. Before it hits that level 10 blue mix, this with yellow will end up looking kind of green. The reason why I'm not doing global lightning - I don't see Angie for two years, and sometimes you can see a line of demarcation. I want to defuse it by back. Combing, the hair for the nape area, I actually back home a little bit lower so when taking a finer section, you're able to backcomb the hair with ease and apply more products and saturate more evenly. If you get clumping spread the hair out with another comb. So I'm gon na start in the center apply pressure, make sure you get lots of product and load it up. Just add another foil down to the bottom. I'M gon na lay the foil on top of each other. So that way, there's adherence so the next section. What I'm gon na do is continue doing the back combing technique, it's slightly lower in the nape area, but as soon as I get up to the occipital bone, I'm gon na bring the highlight up higher. I did three back-to-back foiling doing the lo hombre. So you see me drag it lower having some of her natural go a little bit lower down. So when the diffusion is pulled out, you'll see the darkness drag lower. So the next section where her occipital bone starts, I have to take a thinner panel, tuck it as close to scalp as possible. This one's sure to highlights will go higher up to her vataj and, I repeat, the same thing with painting on the foil. Now I'm able to go high all the way up to her scalp. It'S only been 20 minutes and her hair literally lifts it up to a level 9. So that's healthy, she's able to lift further to attend. If I just let it sit on longer, I feel like, as hairstylist were always rushing lifting or bleaching the hair up to a level 10 and foiling her whole entire head can take anywhere from 90 minutes up to two hours and it's okay. To take your time, we always want to get to the final destination, but we forget to enjoy the journey right. Angie yeah. Definitely all right! So now that I'm at the top of Angie's head notice that I'm over directing everything towards her face when she flips it back you're gon na have a more diffusion. Her hair is literally super super blonde. It'S like a level 10, Oh fashion, so tell me about what you do, because I needed like somewhat of a creative outlet just to do stuff. That, like I want to do in my own time, so I started just a little blog to help. My friends specifically for menswear I used to do for design and it really pissed me off that I was a girl and I wanted to do men's Footwear, but they would tell me, like you can't do that because you're a girl, so you only have to design The girl shoes they're, like you're, a girl, so you know what's gon na look better on girls, but I don't think that's true. No, I don't think you should categorize it into girls and guys, like I think people in general can look good. I feel like the options right now that men have in the market are so limited compared to what girls can buy. Nowadays, the menswear market is growing so much faster and so much more than women's right now. So why is no one talking about it? Why is no one like providing options for these men? You know what's interesting, though I think with like guys, particularly like a lot of straight guys, they're so afraid to dress nice because they're afraid to look gay right. Why is that a huge thing? You don't like? Okay, you just look good, that's the girl! Don'T you agree that girls, like guys who dress nice yeah and if you dress nice, it just makes you like, carry yourself better and makes you a little bit more confident when I used to work out in Oklahoma. Guys, dress really baggy there, but I worked out here in West Hollywood and then we're tighter clothes more fitted. But the idea of what a man looks like in Oklahoma is completely different than what a man looks like in Hollywood. Mhm there hasn't been much Asian representation in the media until crazy, rich Asians and fresh off the boat emember growing up in Oklahoma, not having representation. I was never considered a man or whatever, because society never showcased an Asian male. That'S sexy, I think representation is so important. It goes back to like what you talked about with male designing. I think, because men don't know that they're able to dress a certain way without being called gay and take away their security with being a man right now. Kpop is so popular that everyone wants to be Korea that what we care about it so to make Korean now yeah. Just weird to me, because, like I used to purposely dress and like dye, my hair, so I wouldn't look Korean, but now it's like completely the opposite. I didn't now when you're coloring, your hair, your coloring, your hair for yourself like if you feel like there's something missing in society, be that person yeah Cheers eat all right guys. So now I'm gon na put her foils. Let'S see if she's ready, okay, oh my gosh, big 9 did the trick I mean: have you ever seen a lift this right and white on Asian hair? That'S a long process guys! Definitely when you're dealing with dark hair, it takes a lot of patience. Do not try to take the back comb out of her hair at the shampoo bowl when you blow dry, her hair and naturally unravel itself. The first step olaplex number two and I'm just gon na massage into her scalp. Here all OPEX number two has a pH of 3.5, so it drops the pH. So after I rinse the lightener out of Angie's hair, I'm just gon na make sure I apply. Olaplex number two right on to where the backcomb is so it allows the hair to slip out, so you don't have to pull on the back home area alright, so you want to use guy tagging my identity, my confidant shampoo, it's color, safe. It cleanses the hair to remove all the debris, especially after you lighten the hair. You want make sure you remove all that bleach residual. What I'm super excited about guys is hashtag my hero college and repair spray. I spray this on the hair after I shampoo it. So it balance out the pH close, the cuticle and repairs the hair over 30 % of our body is made out of collagen when is being damaged. The first thing we need to do is replace all of the proteins and the missing collagen that gets depleted from the hair. This really makes the hair feel instantly soft on contact after I rinse out the collagen repair spray, which is my hero, I'm gon na use. My cut nut conditioner - and this is gon na - provide a lot of moisture and color protection for the hair. All right guys, work back with Angie's hair. Look how blond we got her. Her hair is like super white Angie. Are you like freaking out by how wide it is that the permanent color boxes look like this? It'S on the white box and the demi-permanent color box. Look like this! So make sure you use this box. So my first formulation - it's gon na - have three and B in it and we're gon na squeeze a full tube of 10s s silver smoke, maybe a little squirt of violet booster just to be safe. I don't like it when blue can end up being too teal. Ish, you know why I feel, like I want to add a little bit of 8vl to the formula. I want the fade out to be nice. If the blue does have enough violet in it, it won't cancel it the yellow in the Harrow as it fades. I'M gon na apply this to her recharge, because it's acidic, it's able to close the cuticle, add more shine. While it's depositing amazing color, you can see that there are stitch marks here. Applying the darker color with three mbn will diffuse that so now that I apply the first formula throughout her vataj, I'm gon na drag that formula down the nape area, because I want the shadow to go a little bit further down on an eighth, pretty much bring It up pretty high, I'm gon na create a triangle ear to ear and I'm gon na drag the recharge formula down low because I want to create depth and dimension all right. So now, I'm just gon na use 10 SS full tube and I'm gon na stir. In a little bit of the ultra violet booster, one to two ratio with six volume, I'm gon na leave the tips out. So that's gon na leave room for 10 SS was clear. So let's do 10 s s with crystal-clear equal parts and then we'll mix it 1 to 2 ratio with 6 volume. So now that I'm down to my last formula, you see how I leave all of the ends out just make sure you saturate. With 10 s s with crystal clear but don't be afraid to just merge the colors together. Oh my gosh guys, I'm so excited with Angie's hair Angie. I need to know how do you feel I feel amazing. Thank you so much. What did you call it? Dirty-Ice? You know in the city: it's like urban nice urban, though I mean ice, that's been like stepped on. It'S been like driven on a few times. It'S not a good. It'S like edgy and you're, just a dirty girl, cuz! You, like things dirty. I see you me. Okay, it looks like like a glacier blue pearls silver. I don't know it's like it's kind of everything, because it kind of looks blue and it kind of looks silver we're a little bit like delirious, but we love.
