Hey everyone its Siobhan here I have a really easy hair idea for you guys today with Christmas parties and events coming up in the next few days. I don't have a lot of time to style my hair and create like an intricate updo. So I wanted to come up with something that I thought would be easy, simple and fast, and I think that I've done that this was inspired by the White Queen, which was a mini-series on stars. I know a lot of you guys, watched it and liked it. So it definitely has a medieval esque feeling to it, but I think that it translates pretty well on modern women also and you're not going to need very many supplies or skills to do it. First things: first, I'm going to create two little rope braids here at the front of my face. Now I'm going to divide my hair into two pieces, but there's going to be more hair in this top section and less in the other side and with the underside. I'M going to split it in two and create two more rope. Braids. When I finish braiding, I decided to run a curling iron through the rest of my hair. Obviously this is an optional step, but I definitely felt like the curl added something to the hairstyle. This ribbon came from a local drugstore and it's meant for wrapping presents so it's not really expensive at all, but I thought it was festive. I'Ve laid it across the top of my head and I be used to styling clips to hold it in place and with these braids here, I'm just going to draw them back and tie them together. Kind of, I guess, with the nape of my neck. One of my favorite things to use when working with ribbons in my hair is double sided tape and I've got a piece here, I'm just cutting it down to size silver ribbon, I'm going to draw it back and crisscross it like this, and I'm going to use The double-sided tape to hold this little X in place, I'm going to separate these braids from the rest of my hair and I'm just going to very loosely take the ends of the ribbon and draw it underneath all the hair and just tie it in a very Loose like knot and then with one more elastic, I'm just going to bring these Ralph rates back and tie them together with another small elastic and there you have it you guys. This is a White Queen, inspired holiday, sort of ponytail. I hope you guys liked it and I'll see you all in my next video bye,
