Hi Guys So it's my favourite time of year and today I want to show you 3 holiday hairstyles.. So if you want to learn how to do them, just keep watching For my first holiday style, I'm going to section my hair down to my ear and tie the rest of my hair out of the way for the moment.. Then, with this little front section, i'm going to create a little headband., So you're going to divide the hair into 3 even pieces and we're going to bring the outer strands under the middle strand.. Now we're going to do a Dutch braid, so you're, going to add a small section of hair to the outer strand and bring this under to the middle. And add a section of hair to your outer strand and bring this under to the middle.. We'Re going to repeat these steps again, Add a section of hair to the front strand and bring this under to the middle. And add a section of hair to the back strand and bring this under to the middle.. Once more Add a section of hair to the front strand and bring this under to the middle., Then add a section of hair to the back strand and bring this under to the middle.. And if you're unsure on how to do a Dutch braid I'll leave a link in the'Information box'. So you can check that out And I'm just going to repeat these steps until I reach my ear. And if you find it hard to add hair into the braid or you get mixed up on which strand to add the hair, you could always dampen the hair. I use to find this really helpful when I was learning to braid.. Also, sometimes I spray a little gel in my hair just to keep the strands separated. And now that I've added in all the hair, I'm going to continue to do a 3 strand braid.. Then I'm going to gently pancake my braid as I go, so I'm just going to tug on it a little bit. And when you're happy with how the braids looks just go ahead and tie it off.. Now I've just took the rest of my hair down and I'm going to section my hair down to my ear on the opposite side and place this hair out of the way for the moment.. Now i'm going to bring my little braid back and pin it at the back of my head., And you want to make sure that you cross your clips to make it nice and secure and use as many clips as you need.. Now on the opposite side. You'Re going to take a section of hair divide it in half and cross the bottom strand over the top strand., Then you're, going to add a section of hair to the bottom strand and cross this over the top strand. Again Add a section of hair to the New bottom strand and cross it over the top strand. Once more Add a section of hair to the bottom strand and cross this over the top strand. And once you've added in all the hair that you would like. You then just want to continue to cross the bottom strand over the top strand. Next I just sprayed my little twist with some hairspray and now I'm going to go back and just gently tug on it to make it nice and soft.. Now I'm just going to place this twisted section over my Dutch Braid. And I'm going to try and hide the clips. I probably won't get them all, but that's ok. and I'm going to cross my clips over each other to keep them nice and secure.. Now, with the remaining hair, you can do whatever you like.. I decided to do a fishtail braid., So I'm going to divide my hair in half, take a section of hair from one side and cross it over to the opposite. Side. Again take a section of hair from the left side and cross it over to the right. Side. Take a section of hair from the right side and cross it over to the left side. And take a section of hair from the left side and cross it over to the right side. And once more Take a section of hair from the right side cross. It over to the left side And take a section of hair from the left side and cross it over to the right side. And, if you're unsure on how to do a Fishtail, /, French, Fishtail, braid I'll, leave a link above here. So you can check that out. So now, I'm just going to turn around to make braiding a bit easier and I'm going to repeat the steps.. So I'm going to take a section of hair from the left side cross it over t0. The right side. Take a section of hair from the right side and cross it over to the left, side. and you're. Going to repeat these steps the whole way down the braid., Then every couple of stitches I'm just going to go back and gently tug on it. Like I did with the Dutch Braid to make it nice and messy.. Finally, I just tied my braid off and added a little bit of red ribbon, just to give it a holiday feel. - And here is my finished style For my second holiday hair idea. I'M going to do two braids on both sides of my head. Two little braids and I'm going to tie these off and I'll be back in a moment.. So now your hair should look something like this.. I'Ve got two braids on both sides of my head. And now I'm going to go back to the crown area and i'm going to back comb this for little bit of volume. When you're happy with the volume you're going to flip your hair over and we're just Going to turn around. And I'm going to smooth mine out with a soft bristle brush., Then I'm going to gather all the hair that I backcombed and I'm going to clip it at the back of my head. And make I'm going to cross my clips to make It nice and secure. Now we're going to go back to the front sections., So you're going to take small braid at the back and some hair along with this and we're going to bring it back and cross it over the back of our little bump. To hide the clips, Then you're going to repeat these steps on the opposite side, Take a section of hair and a small braid and we're just going to cross it over the back of the head to hide the clips and pin it in place.. Then you're going to grab the front braid and you're going to bring this back and clip it on the opposite side of your head. Then take the left, braid cross it over the back of your head and clip it on the right side of your head.. That'S the back section done for the moment. So now I'm going to move onto the front section. And I'm just going to back comb the hair closet to my face to get a bit of volume. Then like before I'm going to smooth out the section curl it and leave a little bit of hair around My face., Then I'm going to bring the curl back and pin it at the back of my head to hide the clips and I'm going to repeat these steps on the opposite. Side. Then (. This is optional ). I decided to clip the ends of the curls up, so I just wrapped them around my finger and I pinned them in place randomly., But you could leave this section down if you like. And again, I just made sure my clips we're nice and secure and that's My finished style For my final holiday hairstyle, I'm going to do an updo., so I'm going to section my hair down to my ear on both sides and place them out of the way.. Then I'm going to backcomb the crown area a little to get a bit of volume.. Now you're, going to flip your hair over when you're happy with the volume.. Then again, I'm going to smooth it out with some hairspray and a soft bristle brush., And I'm just going to tie this section now into a half up half down ponytail. And I had no clear elastics. So I just went ahead and used this green one. So don't mind that.! So now that my hair is in a ponytail, I'm going to push it up again for some extra volume. and I'm going to clip either side of the ponytail to keep by bump nice and high.. Then I'm going to tie the remaining hair into a low ponytail. Then, with the ponytail, I'm going to divide it in half and do a rope braid.. So I'm going to split the ponytail in half and twist both sections in the same direction., I'm twisting both mine to the left and then back around each other. Or you could twist them to the right. Whatever you find easier. So again, I'm twisting both of them to the left and then back around each other.. Then, when I get to the end, I'm going to spray it with a bit of hairspray and then go back and gently tug on it to make it nice and messy.. And if you find the rope braid a bit confusing, you could also just do a french twist., So you would just wrap the hair around each other and so the same thing. Gently tug on it or you could do a braid, whatever you like Once I get To the end, I'm not going to tie it off., I'm just going to wrap it around into a little bun and try and hide the green elastic at the back of my head and clip it in place.. Now I'm going to move onto the front sections., I just went ahead and curled mine.. Now I'm going to run my fingers through my curls to make them nice and loose.. Then I'm going to backcomb my front section to get a bit of volume and I'm going to randomly clip the sections in place. At the back of my head. After you've pinned both front sections, your hair might look a little crazy, like mine., But don't worry, You're going to grab each section of hair and randomly pin the hair until it looks nice. Again, I'm going to try and hide that Green elastic., So that's my final holiday hairstyle.. I hope you like it guys and if you did as always, don't forget to give this video a thumbs up and Subscribe.
